Production Process Evaluation
Research
• The Strengths of my research are how detailed it is. When doing my
research I bought a magazine similar to the ones I planned to do. This
greatly helped when creating my final pieces as it allowed me to get
inspiration from a professional magazine.
Planning
• The strengths in my planning would be the fonts and layout
plans. These layout plans were inspired by the anime magazine
NEO. These plans helps me a lot when creating my final
products.
• The weakness in my planning I would say would be how
detailed my writing is in each slide. I would like to improve the
detail in my writing.
Time Management
Personally I felt that my timing was a lot better then the last project as I did all the
work including the two front covers, and two finished double page articles. If I had
additional time I would’ve liked to have finished the other two other articles I
didn't’t have time to and to have made more articles for my magazine.
Technical Qualities
As you can see both my
magazine and Neo Share
similar fonts for the
heading and they both
contain Japanese letters
on the left hand side
They both contain a
sub-heading
relating to what will
be inside the
magazine.
Both magazines also
contain a footer
containing the main
articles in the
magazine to tell
readers what to expect
They both have the date,
issue number and cost of
the magazine, they also
have a barcode.
Above both magazine
headings there is a list of
all the subjects talked
about in the magazine
ranging from cosplay and
music to Asian films.
The only difference I can
see is the main picture in
the center of the
magazine.
Aesthetic Qualities
Yes I believe my work is
creative and looks
AMAZING. Well
personally I wouldn’t
like to improve anything
as I dont see the need
too.
Audience Appeal
To make my content appeal to my target audience I wrote about a wide range of
anime so no gender or age would be excluded.
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
I can clearly see what the product is about clearly
even if it just had the images in it.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– You could include a bit more extra information or
text.
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– The front cover is very well edited and the double page
spread is neatly laid out and has lots of images and bright
colours which are easy to see
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– Couldn’t think of a improvement.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– How the Japanese writing is at the side of the
headline.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– There could be more text on the sides of the front
cover.
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
I agree that I could use more information in my articles.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
I disagree that I could use more text on my front cover though.
Peer Feedback Summary
Based on my peer feedback I would improve my product by writing more information in
my article to make it more interesting.

Evaluation

  • 3. Research • The Strengths of my research are how detailed it is. When doing my research I bought a magazine similar to the ones I planned to do. This greatly helped when creating my final pieces as it allowed me to get inspiration from a professional magazine.
  • 4. Planning • The strengths in my planning would be the fonts and layout plans. These layout plans were inspired by the anime magazine NEO. These plans helps me a lot when creating my final products. • The weakness in my planning I would say would be how detailed my writing is in each slide. I would like to improve the detail in my writing.
  • 5. Time Management Personally I felt that my timing was a lot better then the last project as I did all the work including the two front covers, and two finished double page articles. If I had additional time I would’ve liked to have finished the other two other articles I didn't’t have time to and to have made more articles for my magazine.
  • 6. Technical Qualities As you can see both my magazine and Neo Share similar fonts for the heading and they both contain Japanese letters on the left hand side They both contain a sub-heading relating to what will be inside the magazine. Both magazines also contain a footer containing the main articles in the magazine to tell readers what to expect They both have the date, issue number and cost of the magazine, they also have a barcode. Above both magazine headings there is a list of all the subjects talked about in the magazine ranging from cosplay and music to Asian films. The only difference I can see is the main picture in the center of the magazine.
  • 7. Aesthetic Qualities Yes I believe my work is creative and looks AMAZING. Well personally I wouldn’t like to improve anything as I dont see the need too.
  • 8. Audience Appeal To make my content appeal to my target audience I wrote about a wide range of anime so no gender or age would be excluded.
  • 10. Feedback 1 • What did you like about the product? I can clearly see what the product is about clearly even if it just had the images in it. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – You could include a bit more extra information or text.
  • 11. Feedback 2 • What did you like about the product? – The front cover is very well edited and the double page spread is neatly laid out and has lots of images and bright colours which are easy to see • What improvements could have been made to the product? – Couldn’t think of a improvement.
  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? – How the Japanese writing is at the side of the headline. • What improvements could have been made to the product? – There could be more text on the sides of the front cover.
  • 13. Peer Feedback Summary • What do you agree with from your peer feedback? I agree that I could use more information in my articles. • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? I disagree that I could use more text on my front cover though.
  • 14. Peer Feedback Summary Based on my peer feedback I would improve my product by writing more information in my article to make it more interesting.

Editor's Notes
