Production Process Evaluation
Research
• My research is a bit messy but it is good at some points, My strengths are
explaining what the pictures are and how the lighting is aimed and how
the shadows are placed on the artist.
• This helped my product by letting me show who I was doing it on and how
I would be doing it and the layouts for it.
• My weaknesses were that I didn’t do enough detail of the covers so I just
had to add my own type of style on the research part.
• I could think of how I could put more information in and I could use
something to do that can improve how I can put things in more detail.
• It wouldn’t have any effect on my product because I already had an idea of
what I was going to do and how I could proceed in doing so.
Planning
• My planning was ok but I know I could’ve done better, my strengths were
that I used my mind to set 2 different layouts for potential ideas for my
front cover, I didn’t do the double page spread seeing as I done a plan of
that on paper which I still need to upload to my production reflection.
• This helped my production by letting me test out what kind of layouts I
could have and where I wanted everything, I also decided on what my
slogan was at this point.
• My weaknesses were that I don’t think I put enough detail in what I was
doing when I was telling the reader on why I picked those layouts and
colours to use on my magazine.
• I could have put more details in my pre-production.
• This would have no effect on my product either because like I said before I
thought about what I was going to do before hand.
Time Management
• My time management was better than last time and I got everything in
before or on the deadline, my strengths were that I was up to date with
everything and after a while I was ahead of everyone else in my course
and I could slow down with my work.
• I would have everything done, plus the last project handed in on time.
Technical QualitiesMy magazine has a barcode and a price tag
on the cover, on the original it maybe on the
back.
Aesthetic Qualities
My work does look good, I have been told by
multiple people and I like how on the double page
spread that the headings are the same color as
the opposite page.
On the cover I like how most of the writing is
red or pink and the mast heading is white, It
makes it stand out and flow more.
I have already improved it and this is the final
product so I wouldn’t improve it anymore. My
strengths are that I have done a lot of writing in
the content part of the magazine.
My weaknesses are that at the start when I was
creating the double page spread I put to much
writing on the content part that it was all squished
so I had to remove some o the writing.
Audience Appeal
I have appealed to my target audience by putting in what my favorite songs by Sabrina and how they made
me feel when I listen to them, I also added an “interview” I had with Sabrina asking her “what did you think
when you were becoming more famous?” I also put what she is from and who she plays on those TV shows.
On the cover I put the writing bold so it would stand out to the target audience and they would want to buy
and read it.
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the different variation of colours around the
magazine, the fonts also fit the magazine style well. The
front cover is well presented and the pictures are framed
well around the text.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
• The text at the bottom of the page could stand out
more as I can’t really see this, but it is a good choice in
colour.
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
I like the whole magazine. It’s very interesting to
know about Sabrina and that you took my
amazing idea.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
Some improvements could be the spelling and
grammar.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the fact that it looks professional and it
includes multiple interesting information. <3
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– One of the words on the cover page is cut in half
due to there not being enough space.
– One of the pictures on the double spread page is
pixelated.
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agree that there are a few miss spelt words in
the content part of the magazine.
– I can see which word is halved on the cover.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– There is nothing that I disagree with.
Peer Feedback Summary
• I would go back and change everything that is wrong with it and what they said
upon the peer feedback and I saw some stuff I could improve on my own as well,
because it looks bad when you get miss spelt words and words cut in half because
it gives you a bad reviews in other magazines.
