I like the designs of the Japanese clan Symbols and the use of the Japanese
writing because it fits the style and genre of the of the magazine. I am going
to use these designs for my Masthead for the front cover. I will also be using
the fonts Kozuka Gothic Pr6N and Gill sans for the article text. I will also be
using the NEO Gen Bold font for the masthead too. Most of the fonts on my
mood board are either linked to anime, Japan or Manga. I have looked at the
colors and I will use the brighter ones for the articles inside the magazine. I
will include basic magazine features such as a barcode, issue numbers, price
and issue dates. I may use one if the barcodes in my mood board as they're
different and unique.

8. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
When I do any extra work or finish anything at home
the computer may not be compatible with Photoshop.
If you’re going to improve your work at home, make
sure you find the version you’re currently working on
is the same as the one you wish to use.
The Computer you happen to be using at the time may
be broken or extremely slow.
If the computer you’re working on happens to be
broken or extremely slow try moving computers or
restarting the computer.
The file you wish to edit or improve may be
corrupted, broken or missing.
When saving or finishing an important piece of work,
save multiple copies in different locations to stop them
from becoming corrupted, broken or missing.
The picture you wish to use in the final product may
be pixelated, blurred or broken
Unfortunately not all the images you find on the
internet aren’t all 1080p HD images so if you find an
image you wish to se and it is unfortunately blurred
you would have to find a better quality image.
I may not be able to find images appropriate for the
topic/magazine I’m making.
Furthermore if you cannot find an image appropriate
for the topic you wish to use it you may have to ether
make your own by screen shooting the clip or game,
or either draw it and scan it in.
Microsoft office may not be accessible on the
computer or you may have a different version to the
one you’ve originally been working on.
If Microsoft office is unavailable to use you may either
have to update the version you’re using on use the
online version.

9. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
You might get eye strain for using the computer
for to long.
Take regular breaks throughout the work
period to relax your eyes and be more
energised.
The screen brightness may cause your eyes to
hurt.
Make sure the brightness of the computer is
correct for so you don’t get glare from the suns
reflection.
Wrist strain may occur from using the computer
for to long.
Make sure the chair is at a suitable height to
avoid strain and aces. Also take regular brakes
to relax muscles.
Back pain caused by sitting down for extended
periods.
Make sure you take regular breaks to walk
around and stretch you muscles. Make sure you
also have a comfy chair.
Don’t eat or drink near the computers can spill
causing the computer to break.
Take regular breaks and have something to eat
and drink so you don’t become hungry or
thirsty.

may occur in you feet and hands.
Take regular breaks to allow yourself to walk
around and stretch your muscles.
