Production Process
Evaluation
Research
• The strengths would be the content as I felt I covered every point
that was required.
• The weaknesses would be I felt it was too bullet pointed as it
should be more of a structured sentence.
• It helped by giving me of an idea of what to include within the
product.
• If I had more time I would change it so the sentences would be
more structured.
• This gave me more ideas on what to include within my product.
Planning
• The strengths would be the mood board I felt that the
pictures match the product well.
• The weaknesses would be the mind maps as I felt there
was more to be added but I didn’t have the time to
improve upon it.
• If I had more time I would put more detail into the mind
maps.
• This made a huge impact on what my magazine was
going to be about.
Time Management
• I felt like I managed my time poorly at the start with
getting the ideas and having a week off college and not
getting round to doing the work so that made me be
behind, but when I got half way through the production, I
got a sudden productivity spike and I ended up being
ahead.
Technical Qualities
Both feature the same
characters.
Mine have a dark background for the
cover and a bright one for the double
page spread while for the existing
one it is the opposite
Both use the colours
white, black and the
same shade of blue.
Mine just has
pictures on one
page and text on
the other but the
existing product has
a mixture of both
Aesthetic Qualities
I think that my work looks good
but the front cover could be
improved upon but, I don’t know
what because the double page
spread I think looks professional
but the cover looks a bit dull and
empty in places.
If I had more time I would
improve the front cover to
make it a bit more cluttered
because I think it looks empty
in some places.
The strength would be
the Professional look of
the double page spread.
The weakness would be
the front cover as I think it
doesn’t look up to par
with the double page
spread.
Audience Appeal
I have made this interesting,
questionable and enticing so it
matches with the audiences
interests about Game Of Thrones. It appeals to my target
audience be cause all of the
content is about Game Of
Thrones.

Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
• I like the overall layout of your magazine and you’re
clearly able to tell what the theme of your product
is. I also like the choice of colours and fonts you’ve
used. The double page spread is good and looks like
an actual magazine. The photos you’ve included are
also good.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• I don’t think there is anything that is needed to be
improved. The overall product is very good.
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
• The front cover look very professional with the with all
the side titles, and barcode. The fonts match the with
background and the colours make it eye catching. The
double page has a lot of detail about the games of
throne.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
• I would make the writing bigger because it’s a bit
hard to read.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
• I like your double page spread as there is lots of
detail used and it is set out in columns making it
look realistic. I also like your front cover as the
title stands out and has different bits of
information on it.
• What improvements could have been made to the
product?
• I would make the writing bigger on your double page
spread
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• I agree that the product looks good.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• I don’t think the font should be bigger as I feel it’s
fine as it is, but everyone is different.
Peer Feedback Summary
If I had more time I would make the font on the front cover
and double page spread larger, I would include these
changes so it would make it easier to read.

  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? • I like your double page spread as there is lots of detail used and it is set out in columns making it look realistic. I also like your front cover as the title stands out and has different bits of information on it. • What improvements could have been made to the product? • I would make the writing bigger on your double page spread
  • 13. Peer Feedback Summary • What do you agree with from your peer feedback? • I agree that the product looks good. • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? • I don’t think the font should be bigger as I feel it’s fine as it is, but everyone is different.
  • 14. Peer Feedback Summary If I had more time I would make the font on the front cover and double page spread larger, I would include these changes so it would make it easier to read.
