I was raised in what now would be called White privilege. The Edgemont area in
Provo, Utah was an extremely homogenous culture. My family, along with most of
the other families in my neighborhood were young, White, middle class, highly
educated, conservative, heterosexual, and Mormon with European ancestry. My
father, along with most of the other fathers in the neighborhood, was a professor at

novel. It is known for its candor with violence and its expressive nature regarding

The Catbird Seat by James Thurber introduces the prime character, Mr. Erwin

warning, but instead she answers him concluding they are indeed alone, and he is
at ease. Frantically, he scans the room for the weapon for murdering her. Mr.
Martin is not a hunt for any weapon, the text reads, Mr. Martin looked quickly
around the living room for THE weapon (3). The search for something to hit her
with is not random, it is the weapon he assumes would be available, as mapped out.
Initially, his plan all along was to kill her with whatever he found in her place.
Following, he catches sight of a knife and he test if it is sharp enough, but came to
a loss because, It was blunt. It wouldn t do (4). Obviously, this is a red flag,
especially considering how much he despises her. Not only is he seeking the
appropriate sharp object, he also makes sure to retain his gloves, in case there is a
residue of blood or fingerprints. Once he fails to find a dagger, a sudden thought
arises. Instead of striking her dead, he realizes it is possible to deceive her. As he

The tone that August Wilson uses is an approachable and lofty blend at the same
time. To begin with the protagonist of fences, Troy is a mindful man whose dreams
are obstructed, this makes him have confidence in self made fantasies. The play first

role of mixed methods research in my field, I have chosen to review Implementation
and Outcomes of Inquiry based Learning in Mathematics Content Courses for Pre
service Teachers by Laursen, Hassi, and Hough (2016). After discussing the selection
criteria and providing an article summary, the article will be evaluated based upon the
Journal of Mixed Methods Researchs review criteria. A closing discussion will

knew it was from my well meaning best friend, but I could not summon the

I believe that Law Enforcement cameras are not an invasion of privacy and that they
are needed because there have been dramatic effects in using these cameras. These
streetview, bodyview, and Dash Cam cameras can help out in investigations, they can
prevent unnecessary police brutality, and they are also good for training the officers
on what they did wrong.
First of all, The law enforcement cameras can help out in complex investigations
like car accidents, robberies, terrorist attacks etc. One of the main reasons the
suspects of 2013 bombing in Boston Massachusetts were caught was because of
the police video surveillance. These cameras are put on public areas so If someone
gets hit in a car accident and the person who hits them drives away, the cameras
can record the license plate number and the identification of the what the car looks
like. Also, if there is a robbery the police can identify the person and the escape
route that they took from looking at the video footage. They can then be
broadcasted to the community to help locate a possibly dangerous suspect. There
are also many ways Dash cam footage in the police cars can help the police officers
in an investigation during a pursuit or just a regular traffic stop. For instance if the
officer(s) is in pursuit of a vehicle and the occupants in the car throw out an illegal
substance and the officers find it, it can be a major fine. If the officer doesn t see the
substance thrown out of the vehicle

A Summary Of Jesus And The Lamentation Of Christ
Today I will be comparing these two late Medieval Italian paintings which have a
story that arranged throughout the chapel, both paintings show Mary saying goodbye
to her late son, Jesus.Looking at the painting Lamentation of Christ (Duccio) you can
notice that the background is a golden tone with a mountain displayed in The
Mourning of Christ (Giotto) you can notice the background is a bright blue not a
golden tone, you can notice a difference in the sky that makes you wonder whether it
was day or night. The most basic difference probably lies in the area ten angels flying
around in the sky in the Mourning of Christ (Giotto) painting which the Lamentation
of Christ(Duccio) painting fails to show any angels failing to give a fantasy theme to
the painting. As you glance at both the Mourning of Christ (Giotto) and the
Lamentation of Christ (Duccio) painting you can also notice that in the Mourning of
Christ (Giotto) painting Jesus and his Seven disciples all have halos around their
head which is merely a round flat plated halobehind their heads.The focus in the
Lamentation of Christ (Duccio) are on both Jesus and his Disciples, those who are
closest to him while in the Giotto painting the focus is on the left side of the canvas
and being focused on the center of the canvas showing not only the disciples and the
audience of Jesus s death. In the Giotto painting they depict the importance of
disciples and those closer Jesus with halos. In
