For our experiment, we tested this theory by measuring our cardiac output before and
after some rigorous exercise. We measured the individual cardiac output and then
combined the data to compose a class wide data average. We compared the results of
the experiment to what we expected, which was that exercise does affect our heart.
Our data from this experiment supported the notion that exercise does, in fact, change

It was alarming that in the year 2012, one out of two adults in the United States was
suffered from musculoskeletal dysfunctions (Lezin and Watkins Castillo, 2016). Gait
deviation and postural asymmetry are constantly observed among people with
unilateral lower limb amputation, especially transfemoral amputation. Studies
showed, amputees have 52 71% in getting low back pain and transfemoral amputees
(TFAs) has 50% more chance of getting kneeosteoarthritis (OA) at the intact leg
(Ehde et al., 2001, Kulkarni et al., 1998). It is a major issue needs immediate
attention as OA and low back pain can severely affect a person s quality of life
(Woolf and Pfleger, 2003), especially this group of population who has already
owned a primary disability. Due to such, an in depth review of how does
biomechanical disadvantages expose unilateral transfemoral amputation to these
second disabilities and rehabilitation approaches to prevent or delay of the
dysfunctions will be discussed here from my perspective as a physiotherapist. To
draw a good rehabilitation program, assessment on TFAs frequently is done via
visual analysis of static and dynamic alignment. Asymmetry static standing posture

In the world of home exercise equipment, few pieces have been around as long as
the exercise bike. Although exercise bikes (fitness bikes, studio bikes) received a
bad rap for a number of years, being used as clothes hangers, etc., the new versions
are sleek, silent, and easy to use.
There are two basic types of bikes, the upright and the recumbent. An upright is what
most people think of when they think of fitness bikes. The upright is closest to a
regular bike, narrow saddle, pedals below the rider, handle bars out front. On the
other hand, a recumbent exercise bike has a wider seat with a small back support. The
pedals are out front, and the rider is in a reclined position. Both bikes have good and
bad points as we shall see.
The traditional setup of an upright bike allows the rider to more closely simulate an
