Freshman year, the first year of high school. No one knows what s going to happen

My Life Experience
It was a dark and warm night as the wind was breezing on my face. My parents and
I went to the entrance of the airport in Ethiopia. The date was September 15, 2017
and that day was the day that we were leaving Ethiopia. We had stayed there for
one month for a vacation and to meet our other family members. We went at 7:30
pm and the flight was at 10:30. We went a bit early because it is better than being
late. Also, if a problem insists, we would have time to fix it but that wouldn t
happen,...right? Honestly, I didn t think we would ve gotten on the airplane that
night because of that horrible incident. It was the most meaningful experience of my

Cancer in many ways is a mystery and this is why my investigation is always up for

Their are these chemicals called Carcinogens that are often found in food. They

Alderson Smear Procedure
The microbe that I received was on plate B section 5. I began the project by
creating pure cultures of my microbe on a sterile nutrient agar plate, a nutrient agar
slant and an agar broth by using Alderson s procedure for aseptic techniques
(Alderson, 2015, p. 53). After inoculating the media with my microbe, I incubated

Disorders
Hemophilia is the name of a group of hereditary blood disorders that doesn t allow
the blood to clot normally (Frey 2009). More specifically hemophilia A, also
known as factor VIII, is caused by a missing clotting protein coagulation factor
VIII. It is often times referred to as the Royal Disease because of how it ran
rampant through the royal families of England, Spain , Germany, and other
European countries during the 19th and 20th century. Hemophilia A is inherited in
X linked recessive pattern. In males (who have only one X chromosome), one copy
of the affected gene is enough to cause the condition. In females (who have two X
chromosomes), a mutation on both of the genes would have to be present to cause
the disorder. Because it is very unlikely that a female would have both altered
copies on both of the genes females generally don t get hemophilia. Since fathers
can only pass on the Y chromosomes to their sons they can t pass X linked traits
along (Hemophilia 2015). Hemophilia is linked to the mutation of the F8, on the X
chromosome, as seen in Figure 1. Mutations in the F8 gene can cause faulty versions
