A family friend presented an opportunity to me and I seized the moment. As a sports

experiments. In experiment 1, they tested infants in three age groups, ages 6.5, 10
and 13 months. This experiment would involve two monitors showing two different
displays of squares with patterns, the observer will record how long the infant would
look at each monitor. Each infant was given six trails, one with the change displays
and the other with no change. The results were, infants 10 and 13 months looked
longest at Set 3, this pattern was a mixed model. Infants look longer at displays that
contain more elements. Younger infants, prefer the changing side with only one
changing element. In experiment 2, all the details and design were the same as
experiment except the infants were 4 months and seated closer to the monitors. The

The idea of interstellar travel was explored methodically in order to answer why one
would want to travel to other stars, where in space could humanity realistically travel
to, what factors are preventing mankind from reaching these stars and how can they

The conflict in Darfur refers to the fighting that is happening in the western region
of Sudan known as Darfur. These fights have been taking place since 2003 and

I Am My Top Priority Essay
My top priority is to further develop empathy immediately upon returning. My lack of

not change just on their own. This change of moral qualities may be shown by a
person who dislikes someone, then realizes the truth and learns to lovethat someone.
In Jane Austen s novel, Pride and Prejudice, Elizabeth Bennet is the main character
who is a lady in the Regency Era. Elizabeth lives in Longbourn with her parents, Mr
and Mrs Bennet and her four sisters. Elizabeth s mother wants all of her daughters
to get married soon because it is a great pride to have in the 19th Century. She
wants her daughters to marry someone who is well off , or rich. In the beginning of
the novel, Elizabeth s prejudice mindset and strong opinion blinds her from

In this short story The Thing in The Forest has many types of Figurative Language
but mostly it represents Symbolism. One major symbolism is the thing which the
girls, Penny and Primrose encounter while they were in the forest, represents the the
bad things of WWII.
Penny and Primrose were two little girls who were evacuees. This story takes
place in 1940 1941 when British cities were being bombed by German warplanes.
They had been sent away from their home by train to this mansion next to a forest
with other children . They would be there until they had a foster family. On their
coats they had their names pinned down and they were wearing gas masks just in
case enemy bombs fell their way. Their mothers had not explained to them where
they were going . They thought they were being punished for not being good
children. They became great friends on the train after sharing a piece of chocolate
and and apple. They both agreed to stick to each other. After arriving the next day
they were sent out to play while it was lunch time. They went outside and saw the
opportunity to go into the forest. Alys who was one of the younger girls wanted to go
with them but Penny and Primrose ran until they lost her. After a little while in the

The film, Judgment at Nuremberg, was about the Nuremberg Trials after World War
II. It trialed four German Judges who were accused of non combatant war crimes
against a civilian population, the Holocaust, and the post World War II geopolitical
complexity of the actual Nuremberg Trials. The trial discussed how Germany is not
at total fault, the degradation of Germany, and the hypocrisy and deceit from the
destruction of the Allies.
Taking place in the Palace of Justice courtroom, Judge Dan Haywood, the Chief
Trial Judge, began the trial by trying to learn how the defendants could have
sentenced so many people to torturous deaths. Haywood sought to understand how
the German people could have praised the crimes of the Nazi regime. Hans Rolfe,
the defense attorney for the Germans, explained that the judges did not make the
laws, they only interpreted it and carried it out, unaware of what happened inside the
concentration camps. When Rolfe was making his argument for the defense, he
powerfully mixed pity into his statements, making the people question even the moral
basis of the court. After Ernst Janning, one of the defendants, admitted his guilt

His other noticeable work is Shadow man, which is similar to his Image Mass
Murder where is splashes paint on the ground but instead of it around a chalked out

Often times, a communities job is to educate their citizens. So, if some of those
citizens are not coming to school because of an unexcused reason, it it also their job
to figure out why. If a school wants students to be successful, truancy should be
decriminalized.
A school is accountable for making sure students come to school. So, if a student is
not coming to school, rather than that student being punished, a plan should be made

It became evident that Ryan requested for food not because he s hungry nor
disturbing as many nurses described him. Ryan wanted someone to listen and most
