Two years ago, the Crimean Peninsula, an autonomous region of Ukraine, was put
under the global spotlight when it became the epicenter of the newest conflict
between Russia and the West. This conflict is only the most recent development in
Crimea s troubled history. The strategically situated peninsula on the Black Sea has
switched hands numerous times throughout history. The area has been under the rule

Dear Prime Minister,
I believe that New Zealand s energy supply is secure for the future. From my
research, I have found that from 1974 to 2009 the electricity demand has more than
doubled in size. Currently, most of New Zealand s energy is generated from
renewable sources which mean that it can be used by future generations to come; we
do not need to be concerned that they will cease to exist.
However, New Zealand has been named as one of the least energy efficient countries
in the world and therefore, I propose implementing strategies in order to make New
Zealand more energy efficient and this will mean that less energy is wasted which
will benefit New Zealand s energy supply. I propose more power stations in North
Island as that would reduced line loss as most customers are in North Island so
less energy is lost in transmission. Although, 75% of all energy production is
already renewable, I propose for at least 90% of New Zealand s energy to be
renewable in the future and this will minimise the effects of fossil fuel generation

solving the associated forward modeling problem followed by design of suitable
inversion methods to extract the desired information. Simple models do not involve
very complex mathematics but yield only limited information about the subsurface.
The degree of mathematical sophistication increases with more realistic models of
subsurface rocks.
Simple models of subsurface assume rocks to be homogeneous, isotropic and
perfectly elastic. Rocks actually encountered in the subsurface do not exhibit any of
these ideal characteristics. Rocks consist of a number of minerals with varying
properties and grain sizes leading to point to point variation of their physical
properties thus exhibiting a high degree of inhomogeneity.

he doesn t give us the specific date or the time of the day. This makes the readers
wonder if Hemingway is telling the truth about the events of the war or not. Since
its past tense and is being told through a narrative novel, we can t trust whether
Hemingway is leaving out any detail of the events because there is such a big time
gap between when it was told and when the book was written. We can t say that
Frederick was taking notes on every event that occurred but we can only trust that he

he completely changes the setting and mood of the story. This confuses some readers

clothing, 23% are showing cleavage. Magazine ads show a dismembered female
body, with parts, instead of the whole, a practice that according to media activist,
Jean Kilbourne, turns women into objects. Disney movies, from Beauty and The
Beast to Aladdin show slender, unrealistically curvaceous, and quite vulnerable young
women, who are dependent on male figures for strength and survival, not their own
