Technology Essay Titles
Crafting an essay on the topic of "Technology Essay Titles" can be both intriguing and
challenging. While technology is a vast and ever-evolving subject, selecting the right titles and
weaving them into a coherent essay requires a balance of creativity and factual accuracy. The
difficulty lies in striking the right chord between being informative and engaging, as well as
keeping up with the rapidly changing landscape of technology.
The challenge begins with the need to stay current, as technology evolves swiftly, introducing
new concepts and advancements regularly. This necessitates thorough research to ensure the
information presented in the essay is up-to-date and relevant. Additionally, striking a balance
between technical details and accessibility for a diverse audience adds another layer of
complexity.
Moreover, the essay should not merely list technology titles but should delve into the
significance and impact of each. This requires critical analysis and the ability to convey complex
technological concepts in a way that is understandable to a broad readership. Crafting a well-
structured essay that flows seamlessly from one point to the next is crucial, as disjointed or
confusing narratives can undermine the effectiveness of the piece.
Ultimately, the challenge lies in creating a captivating narrative that not only highlights the
importance of various technology essay titles but also encourages the reader to contemplate the
broader implications of technological advancements on society, ethics, and the future.
For those who find this task daunting, there are resources available to provide assistance. Similar

Was Tsar Nicholas Emperor Unfit
Tsar Nicholas II of Russia: An Emperor Unfit to Rule Ravaged Russia At the end of
the nineteenth century, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia reluctantly took command of an
empire overflowing with revolutionaries who were seeking change in response to
hardships that their nation was facing. His timid personality, coupled with his lack of
political education and military experience, made him unfit to calm the war fueled
chaos that would soon envelop Russia. Nicholas series of unfortunate, unprepared
and uninformed decisions began with his marriage and eventually ended with his
decision to abandon the capital to lead his armies, ultimately leading to the demise
of his imperial family s three hundred year dynastic tradition. The turn of the century
illuminated Russia, commonly labeled as backwards by the other European powers,
as the last remaining European autocracy. Russian society still operated on the estate
system, which was characterized by an enormous gap between the upper class
nobility and the lower class peasantry. Peasants comprised eighty percent of the
population and only a fraction were educated. They had little understanding of
government and were highly patriarchal. Many served as serfs. It was not until the
1860s that these serfs were freed from legal bondage by Nicholas grandfather,
Alexander II. However, this was not enough to satisfy Russian citizens newfound
taste of freedom. In the years following, they demanded he establish an elected

The Grand Inquisitor Poem Analysis
The Grand Solution for the Grand Inquisitor Here the devil is struggling with God,
and the battlefield is the human heart, says Dostoevsky through Dmitri. In the
book, The Brothers Karamazov, written by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Ivan and Alyosha
seem to represent the Karamazov Heart, as they argue upon God s theodicy. Ivan
announces to Alyosha that he wishes to recite a poem that he memorized called,
The Grand Inquisitor, in order to justify his rebellion towards God. Here, I will
give a general summary and analysis of the text, and finally, critique Ivan s
philosophical ideas. The poem takes place during the 16th Century in Spain, at the
time of the inquisition. Jesus appears, and goes to the Seville Cathedral, were he
finds a dead girl in a white coffin. Jesus raises the girl from the dead, and people are
amazed. However, the Inquisitor wasn t happy with what he saw, and ordered his
guards to seize Christ. Christ was then taken to a prison, and later, the Grand
Inquisitor appears to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Grand Inquisitor states that Christ could have come down from the cross
when people told him, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King
of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.
However, Christ chose not to do so because he didn t want people to be enslaved
by a miracle. Again, the Inquisitor states that the freedom given to man by God is
too tough a burden, especially if we are to mimic Christ. True, thousands of people
may be able to do it, but they are gods, sons of the most high, whereas others are
left for damnation. Hence the question is raised. Can it be that you indeed came
only to the chosen ones and for the chosen ones? But how is it that a good God lets
his millions of his people die all in the name of freedom. Wouldn t it be his fault for
giving man freedom, for it is by freedom that man condemns himself. Hence, Christ
should of accepted the second offer by The
The Monsters Of Miami.
Monsters Of Miami
I have always found it fascinating how creatures of certain species can blend into
their environments as if they were apart of it. Some do it to protect themselves and
others, the predators of the food chain, do it pick off unaware victims. They prey on
the weak and the foolish using their cryptic camouflage. It is hard to spot them
unless you are one of them and I can see them all.
There is something about the Miami heat that you come to accommodate to. The
food and culture is so alive and active, all through the day and night. People dance
and sing to the rhythmic Cuban Jazz. Tonight I will not be participating in the local
festivities though. This night is a special night. I am hunting. My sights have been

A little research and some discreet tailing led me to his hideout. Manuel was a
younger guy, no wife or kids. Not really any family at all so it seemed. That is the
case often with my kind though. We often find ourselves isolated from the world. I
have seen how he operates. First he waits his prey out. Then he follows them until
they are alone. To prevent from startling the target, he uses his badge to make the
person settle down. His weapon of choice is a knife. He goes to place them under
arrest and claims back up is on the way. As soon as their back is turned to him, with
one quick movement in which he has perfected he slits the jugular vein. Although he
is quick and clean he has one flaw that I have noticed. No matter who the victim is,
he always takes the heart... I am carrying my bags up the garage. Level by level, the

Gaming Communities And The Gaming Community
Title: Gaming communities Name: Subject Name: Instructor s Name: Date: Gaming
community is a type of community whose members have a common interest. Gaming
community is contrary to social communities where members may exhibit different
interests. Over time, computer games have grown contributing greatly to the growth
of online gaming communities. In this regard, these gaming communities may be
divided into two; game specific community and general gaming community (Ahmed,
2010). Game specific communities mainly focus on a particular single game.
Everything in this community is specific to that particular single game. Therefore,
discussions in these forums tend to be more specific and related to a particular game.
On the other hand, general gaming community encompasses various games in one
forum. This type of the gaming community tends to attract many members who can
then engage on a general discussion on various games. In this kind of communities, it
is also common to find demo games presented before the real game is played. With
time passing on, the number of gaming community members is increasing throughout
the world (Herald, 2014). According to Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority
(1997), this gaming community operates on a number of ways. In every gaming
community, there are three basic features of a gaming community within which it
derives its method of operation. They include chats, forums and profiles. Just like any
other software product. Before individuals
Zeus Vs Prometheus Research Paper
The conclusion of the Titanomachy, the war between the titans and the olympic gods
led to the creation of man as two spared titans Prometheus and his brother Epimetheus
shaped man out of mud as Athena the goddess of wisdom breathed life into the clay
figures. With the creation of man and animals, prometheus assigned Epimetheus to
give the creatures of earth various qualities such as Swiftness, cunningness, strength,
fur and wings. However as he got to man, all the good qualities where taken leading
to Prometheusgiving man the ability to stand upright like the gods and the power of
fire. Prometheus began to favor man more then the olympians as Zeusdemanded man
to sacrifice portion of each food to the gods leading to Prometheus tricking Zeus.
Rhyolite History
The 19th century saw a construction and population boom in North America, as a
result of the California Gold Rush and the flourishing of the mining industry all over
the United States, which drew new settlers from Europe, Latin America and Asia.
Once the gold and coal resources dried up, many of these newly found, remote towns
emptied out, as its inhabitants moved to larger areas looking for new opportunities.
These are some of the coolest ghost towns that still stand within American territory.
Number Seven: Bodie, California
Prospector W.S. Body founded Bodie in 1859 in California, close to the Nevada
border, after finding gold reserves in the area. At the peak of the Gold Rush, Bodie
had a population of 10,000. By 1950, the town was completely deserted. Nowadays,

Rhyolite had everything a developed city needs: a city hall, a hospital, a school, an
opera house, water mains and electricity. During the early 20s, everyone fled the town.
Number Two: Goldfield, Arizona
The once thriving gold mining town died around 1989, only to reborn and die again
a few times later. Goldfield, located against the dramatic Superstition Mountains, is
one of the most scenic and cinematic Old West towns in the U.S. Year round exhibits

Number One: Calico, California
Calico is now the most popular ghost town in the United States. Located in the
Mojave Desert, between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, Calico is an abandoned Old
West silver mining town founded around 1881. In the 1950s, the forsaken village
was restored to look more like a prototypical Western themed town, and was later
named a California National Landmark. The park is open every day (except for
Christmas day) and requires tourists to pay an entrance fee. Camping sites and rental

Why The Sons Of Liberty Were Important In The
Revolution
Why the Sons of Liberty Were Important in the Revolution The the Sons of Liberty
were one of the most influential whig groups in the colonies. They helped rouse the
population and committed various acts of defiance toward British rule. Without the
Sons of Liberty their might have not been a revolution and our world would not be
the same. The Sons of Libertyencouraged people to stand up against Britain and
influenced the masses with writing through newspapers. They were famous for their
brutal and violent protests that got the point across. One of the Son s most widely
known act of insolence is when they hanged an effigy of Andrew Oliver in the town
and then stoned his property.1 After the shocking occurrence the British Militia kept

They urged the colonists to reject the Stamp Act and remove distributors. British
troops and militias also became aware of a certain degree of tension that existed
among some colonists. After the Sons of Liberty took action against the Stamp
Act, other colonies began to form groups of their own with similar ideals. If the
Sons of Liberty did not react, maybe no one would have. Not only did the Sons of
Liberty react with violence, they used various newspapers. The Sons of Liberty
voiced their opinions through newspapers which caused colonists to start thinking
and become less trusting of the British. Newspapers were able to influence people
and their thoughts. The Sons wrote their opinions in newspapers and many of them
ran newspapers. With control over newspapers they could easily slip in Whig
propaganda. In reference to libertarianism.org, Many printers would support or share

The Broken Windows Style Of Policing
Some people think assigning officers to communities can be rewarding and some
people think it is a form of punishment. Whatever the case may be, people need
some form of protection. Crime is very real. Today s violence seems to go far past
those standard reasons. As humans, people tend to overlook or forget who are
there to protect the society from disorderly people. The good order of a
community is important to those who lived and worked in the community. In other
words, the little things matter to a person in his or her community. There will
always be a person who cares and will take charge in the community. Arguments
have been made that the application of the Broken Windows style of policing leads
to negative results for the poor and minority residents of the area impacted. The

There are many operating systems that are common on the Internet today. Back when
computers could only handle one command at a time, in the 1950 s, was very time

However, one familiar organization that has maintained its competitive advantage in
its industry is the Ritz Carlton hotel. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in Chevy

best in the hotel industry and has received several accolades for great customer

The organization has explicitly kept this advantageous environment over other
organizations by improving its service capacity. Additionally, the organization ensures
that it stays ahead of its rivals by engaging in research and development that focuses
on luxury products and markets analysis. The Ritz Carlton hotel uses data from its
research to predict the future of the industry; therefore able to dictate what and how
the market will trend in the foreseeable future. Another factor that keeps the
organization s advantage over its rivals is that while rivals tend to become a hotel
brand in the industry, Ritz Carlton has rather position itself to be a leader and
lifestyle brand that constantly develop new properties and ensure that customers live
the culture of the hotel. The final factor that has kept the advantage of the
organization intact is the culture of trust that exists between the management and
employees. The leadership of the hotel lives and communicates the organization s
value to its employees who in turn satisfy customers in a way that they often
anticipate a return visit. These are some of the reasons that the Ritz Carlton hotel

Examples Of Harmonizing A Harmonic Melody
How to Harmonize a Tonal Melody
Ultimately, harmonizing a melody is a matter of personal taste. Nevertheless,
although you have some leeway in the selection of chords, a certain standard of
musical communication, known as style, prevents you from exercising complete
freedom.
Harmonizing a Chorale Phrase
The following general principles will guide our choice of chords for a Chorale
harmonizations as much like those of Bach as possible:
1. You must use half (I V, IV V, or ii V) or authentic (V I) cadences for the final two
notes of each phrase.
2. You should use circle progressions throughout in each phrase. Circle progressions
are more often longer and more abundant near the cadence than at the beginning of
the phrase.
3. Harmonize each melody note with one chord. It is possible to repeat chords
occasionally, but adjacent repeated chords are usually in different ... Show more

A typical melody will have no more than one or two structural tones per measure.
(The other notes are connecting or embellishing notes.) The chord you apply to a
structural tone should include the structural tone as one of the three notes of the
basic triad.
Now comes the work of fitting chords to these structural tones. We could apply one
of three chords that include the structural tone in the triad. As we continue on in this
fashion, we can come up with any number of interesting chord progressions. Once
you ve assigned the chords to the structural tones, return the melody to its expanded
state. Note that when using the structural tone method, there is no right or wrong
way to decide which chords to apply Other Tips for Harmonizing a Melody: There

Compare And Contrast Salt And Saline Soil
4. SALTS CREATE SALINE, SODIC, AND SALINE CONDITION IN SOIL:
Saline soils contain adequate amounts of salts to harm plants growth prominently. It
may be identified by white or light brown crusts on the soil surface. Saline soils
usually have an EC of more than 4 mmho cm 1. Salts that are usually created in saline
soils include NaCl (table salt), CaCl2, gypsum (CaSO4), magnesium sul¬fate,
potassium chloride and sodium sulfate.
The pH of saline soils is generally below 8.5. The normal desired range is 6.0 to 7.0,

Rush Hour Narrative Story
When I was younger, my mother would pick me and my brother up from school.
As we carried our heavy superhero backpacks and sipped Capri Suns, she would
offer us a funny anecdote to help pass the time. I remember one day in particular,
instead of an anecdote, she proposed a challenge. Smiling, my mother told us that
if we could guess which of our siblings were currently home, she would tell us what
movie she bought for us to watch tonight. My brother and I tried our best to guess
the right answer, but to no avail. Nevertheless, being the nice person I knew she
was, my mother told us anyway. Do you know about the movie Rush Hour? My
brother and I looked at each other in excitement. We had looked up the trailer
online, but never thought we d actually see it! The news made us giddy; we
wanted to run home as fast as our tiny legs would take us. When we arrived home,
our mother gave us the DVD. No Chris Tucker. No Jackie Chan. Instead, what she
laid out before us was a DVD titled Rush Hour, a Nigerian film. I turned the box
over and looked at the actors and plot that I had never seen before in my life. Out of
feeble optimism, we popped in the DVD and watched it. Boring. The yearning to be
happy is innate in everyone. People struggle with his desire their entire lives. Some
satiate it, finding enjoyment in family, money, and work, among other things. Others
are fruitless, never finding happinessor even getting a chance to pursue it. Even so,
we most often don t find happiness

How Did Ronald Reagan Want To Tear Down The Berlin
Wall
President Ronald Reagan wanted to tear down the Berlin Wall. While he was in
Berlin, he wondered why there was a wall and thought there was no reason to have
it. In Germany around the late 1980 s, Berlin was divided in half by a wall; the
Eastern half was communist and not good while the Western half was flourishing and
much better than the Eastern. The wall was built during the early years of the Cold
Warin 1961(Google.com). Reagan then said if the wall was no longer standing,
there would be freedom for all mankind. The wall is like a sign from the past and it
is holding people back. He wanted the Soviets themselves, to understand the
importance of freedom.
Reagan s speech was to inform Secretary General Gorbachev of the problem. Reagan
Film Analysis Of The Movie Kingsm The Secret Service
The movie Kingsman: The Secret Service is a thriller and action packed movie
revolving around Kingsman a spy agency which for decades has been in action
undercover to save the mankind from its enemies. The theme of the film revolves
around the triumph of good over evil and how the good side eventually wins,
diminishing the evil. The movie evokes a feeling of thrill and anticipation through the
mise en scene it has to offer. Mise en scene is the information that the filmprovides
through the medium of vision. Mise en scene plays an important role in this movie
as a lot of visual effects are used in the film to show a technologically advanced
world filled with high tech gadgets, weapons, and systems.
The movie takes place in multiple locations be it Kentucky, London, Argentina or
more. The audiences are introduced to these locations before each scene through
extremely long establishing shots with the name of the geographical location
appearing on the side. As most of the scenes are taking place indoors this
introduction of the geographical location provides an in depth of the diegesis to the
audiences. It also helps in the creation of space as closed indoor spaces cannot
convey their locations according to the need of the story, whether they are actually
shot there or not. The movie starts off with a fight sequence in the Middle East,
making the subject of the film clear and thus preparing them for the violence that is
yet to come. The movie has two crucial characters

Positive Classroom Environment Paper
To have a positive classroom environment. You should start by implementing the
following things.
First, children need to feel welcomed once they step a foot inside the school. As we
know every child s diversity is unique in their own way. We live in country that is
composed of multicultural background structures. The center needs to have
orientated staff that are capable to assist people inside the center. Let s start by
having a positive attitude towards others. A great example is, the receptionist at the
center that I attend is very friendly always with a smile, greeting families as they
come in. Furthermore, having an efficient staff is a well practiced that should never
change. Second, teachers need to have a relationship with parents and their students.
This will create an assertive classroom environment and a partnership. Meaning
teachers getting to know the caregivers being prepared to work with the diverse
cultures represented in America. Understanding will open doors of knowledge that
will increase the relationship. When learning other cultures is not to label or separate

DISCUSSION
The data presented in the study showed trends in antibiotic resistance patterns of
methicillin resistant and methicillin sensitive Staphylococcus aureus in KYAMCH at
Enayetpur, Sirajgonj, teaching and referral hospital of Bangladesh.
Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the major pathogens
associated with community acquired serious nosocomial infection because these
strains generally show multiple drug resistance which limits treatment possibilities
(7).
In this study, the isolation rate of MRSA on gender basis revealed more from male
(54.5%) than female (45.5%). Persons younger than 30 years of age were found to
be more MRSA carrier 112 (23%) and less found among below 10 years of age 50
(10%) (Figure 2). Our age and gender based findings did not agree with those
findings obtained by other studies where no significant variations were noticed. (8).
Population of this study is villagers of working group (30 years) who are financially
important. Through medical care they became subject of this study. On the contrary,
other studies are carried out in the city where all residents irrespective of gender and
age are equally receiving medical care.
In our study, the highest number of Staphylococcus aureus isolates were from
throat swab samples 104 (49.5%) followed by pus 44 (20.9%) (Figure 5 a). Similar
study of Tamilnadu in India as high as 35.7% of MRSA strains were obtained from

Photoshop in Business and Society
Businesses have countless applications for the computer software known as
Photoshop. The software is such an integrated part of society that businesses and
scholarly articles assume people have prior knowledge of what it is and what it
does. Photoshop is defined by Oxford as trademarked digital image editing software
to alter photographic images. It is an industry standard for digital graphics and has
many applications to various businesses and media. Lev Manovich wrote in Inside
Photoshop that to count up the number of options in Photoshop and then count all the
options each option subsequently contains, that the total number of options the
software allows for would be in the thousands. Professionals in media, education,
research, and many businesses utilize the software. However, there is controversy
surrounding the use of Photoshop in advertisements that edited models to
unrealistic levels, because of the impact those images have on society. Nonetheless,
Photoshop is widely used and has revolutionized business and integrated into many
industries not limited to media or photography. Photoshop has a brief history since
it has only been around for almost three decades. At the end of the 1980s, it was
beginning to be developed as a way of procrastination by Thomas Knoll, a
University of Michigan graduate student and doctoral candidate in computer vision.
Knoll was trying to write programming code to display gray scale computer images

The Prince And Discourse On Livy
In his famous works, The Prince and Discourse on Livy, Machiavelli meticulously
discusses the importance of religion in the formation and maintaining a political
order. Machiavelli regards religion as a political tool used by political elites for
political purposes. He argues that the appearance of religionis good while the practice
of it is harmful. One of the memorable passage from the Prince that supports
Machiavelli s claim is when he advices the prince to not to be good, and the prince
should cultivate the appearance of the religion if he wants to maintain his state. The
prince, he writes, should appear all mercy, all faith, all honesty, all human, all
religion he adds and nothing is more necessary to have than this last quality (The
Prince, 70). Here, Machiavelli argues, in order for the prince to maintain his state, it
is necessary for the prince to go to the source of morality and by this he means
religion. Thus, Machiavelli view on religion is nothing but a necessary tool for
maintaining a political authority.
Furthermore, Machiavelli stresses the importance of the religion as a political mean
to control and govern the masses. In the Discourse on Livy, Machiavelli uses the
example of how Numa the founder of Roman religion, manipulates the Roman
people by using religion to maintain order and peace. Machiavelli praises the
wisdom of Numa for inventing a religion to control a very ferocious Romans. In
praising Numa, Machiavelli writes: As he found a very

Abstract
This paper offers exploratory insights into the ways in which environmental factors
influence the internationalisation of a new low technology firm, two topics that are
largely understudied in the field of international entrepreneurship. By analysing data
and literature, the influence of market conditions, industry characteristics and global
niche market opportunities are examined, using a ... Show more content on

Research Question
Although a big part of German exports consist of low technology products, almost all
research about factors influencing internationalisation of new ventures, has been done
focusing on companies that operate in the high technology industry. The environment
in which these firms operate is very different from the environment in which low
technology firms operate. High technology firms face high R D costs, short product
life cycles and mostly operate in niche markets (Knight Cavusgill, 2004). These
conditions are very different for low tech firms (Evers, 2010). Here, R D costs and
product life cycles play no significant role. Since studies about new venture
internationalisation are so heavily grounded in the high tech sector, little is known
about the factors that affect the internationalisation of firms in the low tech sector.
This raises the possibility that past findings do not generalize equally well to all
economic sectors (Zahra George, 2002). Furthermore, little research has been done
about how environmental factors influence new venture internationalisation, and
more research is necessary to find out how these factors influence early
internationalisation (Fernhaber, 2007). Environmental factors are factors that a firm
cannot control, and that are part of the external environment they operate in (Zou and
Stan, 1998). These factors can have a significant push and pull effect on new ventures
to internationalise
The Role Of Fear In Macbeth
In Shakespeare s Macbeth, the main character Macbeth is told a prophecy by three
witches. They tell him that he will one day be king and another character Banquo
will be the father of kings. However, in order for Macbeth to become king he must
kill the current King Duncan. In the first few scenes, Macbeth learns that he is now
Thane of Glamis and Thane of Cawdor since the old Thane of Cawdor has been
executed. King Duncan then invites Macbethand his wife Lady Macbeth to his
kingdom to congratulate Macbeth on his promotion. While Macbeth at first seems to
be very into the idea of killing the king by stating Present fears/ Are less than horrible

The Differing Perspectives of the Patriots and Loyalists...
Patriots vs Loyalists Being subjected to public humilation in front of massive crowds
with harsh punishments, the loyalists found themselves in a tough predicament
between the radicals and their independence from Britian while the loyalists thought
differently. Most of the loyalists found their properties vandalized, looted and burned
by angry mobs of men. There was no doubt that the patriots of the thirteen colonies
controlled the public discourse. There was bound to be a revolt against the British by
the patriots because they didn t agree against the policies imposed by the British
parliament. The patriots of The New World have a much more logical reasoning than
the loyalists because they felt that the British parliament was in... Show more content

explains that the governed must have a say in what they will be taxed on and if not,
the British Parliament is par taking in illegal actions. With no representation in
Parliament, American colonists who felt the taxes to be a little excessive had no
other option other than civil disobedience to rebel. It is safe to to say that the
colonists had every right to rebel against the British. Unlike other acts and taxes
imposed by the British parliament the Stamp Act effected everyone in the colonies
even the colonists who remained loyal to King eventhough, all the colonies were all
equally effected by this act imposed by the British. This meant that all legal
documents including permits, contracts, newspapers and even playing cards had to
carry a tax stamp, the revenue (collected by American customs agents) was
supposedly to be used for defending, protecting and securing the colonies, but the
patriots would have thought differently. They just wanted to be independent from
Britian. There was little expectation from Britian and the members of parliament of
how intense of a protest that the Stamp Act would generate in America. As mentioned
before, the colonists didn t like to be taxed by Britian any more because they felt
living separate from the mother country would only decrease the amount of taxation

Key Components of a Successful Blog Essay
Key Components of a Successful Blog
After reading many articles on the web about successful blogging, the main
components are fairly universal across the board. The main and possibly most
important components would be to blog about something that you have a passion
for. Yes, you can fake it for a little while, but eventually you will run out of ideas to
write about on that topic, and your readers will lose interest. You must also be able to
gain trust and become and authority among your blog following readers. Another
crucial aspect is that you must strive to keep your blog different, and interesting.
With as many options as there are across the web today, you must be able to capture
your readers attention. Also, you must ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
With a successful blog, you are going to want to target a specific audience, and adjust
your writing styles appropriately to garner the maximum amount of interest in your
blog.
The next two components of your successful blog go almost hand in hand.
Naturally, most bloggers are not looking to read thesis papers on the topics in
question, but rather something different, and interesting. You can do this through a
variety of ways; your blog can be humorous, thought provoking, or informative (5
Key). Long term, this is very necessary to developing a successful, popular blog.
Another aspect that must be considered when trying to keep your blog interesting
is the amount of times you post on your blog. It s a very simple concept; very few
readers are going to want to read the same thing over and over again. Bloggers enjoy
reading about other peoples lives in an interesting, and captivating way. Consistently
posting, and dedicating yourself to create and maintain an interesting and addictive
blog is a major key in how successful your blog ultimately is.
People in general enjoy interaction as well, which is why you want to provide, and
encourage, constant feedback from your readers. According to the article titled 5
Key Components to Consider when Creating a Blog, you must remember that your
blog is created as a social community, or at the very least, you want your readers to

What is Offshore Banking Essay
Offshore banking is the action of having a bank account outside of the country of
residence. Typically it offers many advantages like greater privacy, low or no
taxation, easy access to deposits and protection against local, political, or financial
instability, but has also been popular for its use of illegal practices like money
launderingand tax evasion. Those against offshore banking view its illegal reputation
and predict that it will only cause further damage like providing fund for terrorism or
holding underground economies. However other experts believe that offshore
banking is a safe haven for depositors and has had a substantial impact on the
international economy in today s world.

It is for this reason why those who oppose offshore banking wish to regulate its use.
Historically, the U.S. has done little to regulate and enforce laws on offshore
accounts. As highlighted by the UBS and Credit Suisse cases between 2009 and
2011, the U.S. government has recently begun regulating offshore bank accounts on a
heavier basis. This creates a myriad of legal issues for lawyers dealing with large
banks, as they need to ensure the company complies with U.S. regulation wherever
they are conducting business. A new provision of the Foreign Account Tax
Compliance Act (FATCA) originally passed in 2010 which will take effect in July
2014. This new provision would require foreign financial institutions to report
information about their U.S. account holders to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
This includes both U.S. citizens and U.S. green card holders, no matter where they
are living. If you were planning to move to a different country from the U.S and
wish to move all your money with you, the IRS will still hold jurisdiction over your
accounts.
Defenders of offshore banking have criticized these attempts at regulations.
Advocates for offshore banking have proven that there are some legal advantages to
offshore banking. The most compelling advantages to offshore banking would have
to be its privacy, flexibility and protection from political risks.
Analysis and Discussion of the Representation of Women in...
In this essay I will be analysing and discussing the representation of women in the
Welsh novel of The Mabinogion, in particular; the portrayal of the calumniated wife,
a theme which is recurrent through Medieval Welsh literature. I will focusing in
particular on how women s speech is represented and how their relationships with
other women and men are portrayed. I will also be looking at different female
protagonists self government and autonomy throughout the four branches.
Throughout my research I am expecting to find at least two different portrayals of
women. One being a strong, influential and sure woman, and the other being a more
passive individual and more stereotypical of a maiden in Welsh literature. The first

After this introduction to Rhiannon she later reiterates her authority and shows she
is not afraid to voice her opinions against an authoritative man. This can be seen
when Pwyll grants the man Rhiannon is due to marry anything he requests.
Rhiannon immediately judges his actions Never has a man been more stupid than
you have been (Davies 2007: 12). This characterization of Rhiannon is strong and
sure; she is assertive and dominant, often domineering. (Ford 2008: p.36 37).
Rhiannon s speech here displays her as a wise and learned individual. She is easily a
match for Pwyll, and has been described by McKenna (2006:1622) as a catalyst in
Pwyll s development as a competent ruler. This can be further seen as after Pwyll s
naГЇve mistake she takes control and concocts a plan to return to Pwyll in a year s
time. The words Rhiannon chooses show how she dominates the situation by
repeating the pronoun I . I ll see to it (Davies 2007: 12). This suggests she feels she
has to take control of the situation as Pwyll cannot, she thinks on her feet and
immediately knows what to do. Rhiannon is an outspoken woman and is not afraid
to force her opinion upon her husband and in doing so she carries the weight of the
Kingdom of Dyfed on her shoulders through the weaknesses of her husband. (Emrys
Evans 1978: 24). This is again displayed by her fixing his mistake. When looking at
the relationship between Rhiannon and Pwyll it is important to

she uses simple words just as the poem Expect Nothing . The mood of the poem is
dark and angry. Walker feels like poor people are treated unfairly which reflect one of
the ideas of the poem. she writes In us this is wisdom of how to shares loaves and

as I read through the poem, Walker also concerned about social class, she believes
that end of war is near, and it s time for the poor and rich to work together. She writes

The Four Stages Of Piaget s Development Theory
Piaget s Development Theory consists of four stages that that every human goes
through from birth to adulthood. The four stages include: the sensorimotor stage,
preoperational stage, concrete operational stage, and formal operational stage. The
sensorimotor stage begins at birth and usually lasts up to two years of age. At this
stage infants begin to participate and discover different sounds, see and touch their
surroundings and various objects that catch their attention. By one month, an infant
has learned reflexes such as to suck and grasp for nutrition (Santrock 178). By 18 to
24 months of age an infant masters object permanence, where the infant comes to find
out that even though an object may be hidden behind another or disappears, they will
continue to search because of their understanding that the object continues to exist
despite not being visible (Santrock 179).
The preoperational stage occurs from ages two to seven years of age where children
begin to demonstrate their emotions and thoughts through words and drawings. In the
elementary school years, a child s drawings become more realistic, neat, and precise.
Suns are yellow, skies are blue, and cars travel on roads (Santrock 183). At this stage
children, do not possess the ability to understand conservation. Instead they focus
their attention on only one detail of a situation, this termed centration.
The concrete operational stage involves children from ages seven to eleven years of
age. At this stage children begin to logically think and organize based off detail.
Children begin to demonstrate seriation, which involves being able to organize based
off quantitative dimension such as length (Santrock 185). An example being having a
teacher instruct his or her students to organize wooden sticks by length.
Formal operational stage starts from ages eleven to fifteen years of age. The final
stage of Piaget s stages involves teens being able to think and form abstract and
critical thinking. They use hypothetical deductive reasoning that is, they develop
hypotheses, or best guesses, and systematically deduce which is the best path to
follow in solving the problem (Santrock 186). As adolescence comes around, thoughts
of egocentrism begin to
What Degrees Are Important For Marine Biologists
Important Questions
What degrees are important for marine biologists?
Some schools offer a marine biology degree and most of these are located in
coastal states, but the undergraduate degree need not be in marine biology. It can be
in biology, zoology, fisheries, or one of the other animal sciences. Physical
oceanographers, who study the physical as opposed to the biological aspects of the
sea, may work toward an oceanography degree, with coursework weighted heavily
in physics, mathematics, and computer modeling. Biological oceanographers study
both the biological and physical aspects of the sea and their interactions. Your best
bet would be to refer to the guides mentioned above and contact the schools that
interest you and learn more about the programs and degrees they offer. A bachelor s
or master s degree is usually required for most starting marine biological research
jobs, but you should also be aware that the usual level of education required to carry
out independent research in biology is a Ph.D., so if you are serious about a full time
career and want to organize your own research projects, you should get your
doctorate.

Comparison Between Emma And Harriet
Emma and Harriet Emma befriends Harriet Smith, a pretty young girl of obscure
background, determined to make her into a lady. Harriet a simple girl, raised in an
orphanage, is tremendously grateful for Emma s friendship. She provides her a
source of both entertainment and constant admiration, affirming her superiority. Mr.
Knightley instantly recognizes the nature of this new friendship How can Emma
imagine she has any thing to learn herself, while Harriet is presenting such
delightful inferiority? (35). Harriet is destined to advance in the social latter,
mostly through association with her patroness. For that reason, it is not therefore
surprising that Emma s first comment upon hearing Mr. Martin s marriage proposal
to Harriet should be in regard of his apparent resolve to connect himself well if he
can (47). Emma acting as a patroness to Harriet is of itself not unusual, since women
s patronage to women was common. However, Emma oversteps her authority by

The 10 Stages Of Production For Gap Inc. Jeans
Figure 1 demonstrates the 10 stages of production for Gap Inc. Jeans, from the raw
material all the way through to the consumer as an end product. The first stage is
the supply chain for the production of jeans is to source cotton. Gap has a
sustainability and environmental issue when sourcing cotton. Gap Inc. scored a
0.5 out of a scale of 0 to 19.5 on cotton ranking, conducted by Rank a Brand. Which
assessed their cotton policy, sourcing and traceability based on publicly available
information . Besides the sustainability concern, gap has an environmental issue.
Sourcing unstainable cotton uses a tremendous amount of water, as It takes more
than 5,000 gallons of water to make enough cotton for just a T shirt and a pair of
jeans . It is also unclear to the consumer in which countries the cotton is sourced.
As some countries like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan tend to be much more risk
prone for child labor, during the cotton picking season. The second stage of the
production for GAP is the weaving of the fabric. Gap does not provide any public
information on which weaving mills they use or where these mills are located
geographically. From a SEERS point of view this is a responsibility issue. Because
Gap should be able to release this information to the public. So that the consumers can
be assured that there are no social issues within the supply chain. The third stage of
production otherwise known as tier 2 suppliers has four connections for making the
jeans. These consist

Corporate Law And Shareholder Approval
Most equity carve outs do not require shareholder approval and require only
approval by the parent company s and subsidiary company s boards of directors.
More complicated corporate law considerations, particularly those related to fiduciary
duties, typically arise following the closing of an equity carve out, especially if the
parent retains a significant equity interest in the subsidiary.
Shareholder Approval
The question of whether shareholder approval is required to implement an equity
carve out is determined by state law. While shareholder approval statutes vary by
state, most are substantially similar to Delaware s statute, which provides that
shareholders must approve a transaction in which a company will sell all or
substantially ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Most equity carve outs are not large enough to require shareholder approval; if the
parent sells less than a majority stake and retains control over the subsidiary, there is
a strong argument against needing to obtain shareholder approval. If the parent sells
between 50% and 100% of its subsidiary shares, on the other hand, and the
subsidiary s business is important to the parent, there is a strong argument in support
of needing shareholder approval. The requirement for shareholder approval is
significant because proxy materials must be mailed, a shareholder meeting must be
organized and approval must be obtained before the transaction can be completed. If
the parent s shares are registered under the Exchange Act, proxy materials must
comply with Regulation 14A and meet disclosure requirements. While proxy
materials should disclose the material terms of the offering, details such as final price
and size of the offering are typically not determined until the registration statement is
effective, which creates a risk that the parent will not be able to meet its disclosure
obligations.
Board Approval
Approval is typically required by both the parent s and the subsidiary s boards of
directors in order to implement an equity carve out. While the specific
Evaluate The Effectiveness Of Air-To-Air Combat
With the paradigm shift towards unconventional warfare, the effectiveness of
aerial combat missions such as air to air combat and strategic bombing are
somewhat nullified as opposing forces on the ground or objectives are generally
covert and not well defined. Despite this, the role of airpower should not be seen as
a lower priority as the Г©lan of true combat ability arises from providing close air
support to the ground troops. CAS is the quick reflection of aircraft s firepower in
contribution to the battle on the ground where especially the characteristics such as
speed, ubiquity, concentration, precision and lethality claim a big share at the
efficiency of these missions16. Historical evidences have informed us that lightly
armoured ground forces employed with no CAS support has had heavy causalities
and a termination of the operation.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Task Force Smith failed to significantly slow the advance of the North Korean
armoured column as they had lost nearly 40% of its force in a matter of hours
when the North Koreans attacked. In hindsight, effective CAS could have
prevented the heavy losses and aided the task force to achieve its mission of
slowing the North Korean column17. In addition, CAS provides a much needed
psychological impact to frontline operations supporting friendly forces on the
ground through guns, bombs, and missiles as well as using airpower to save the
lives of soldiers engaged in close combat. This is largely because of the ability of its
pilots to fly lower and slower to support ground troops a visible sign relief in combat.
It must also be cautioned that in order to minimize the chance of fratricide and
enhance mission effectiveness, communications must be mission tailored and robust
to ensure that links between aircraft and ground units are maintained and to allow the
proper control of
Radiologic Technologist Admission Essay
My mother always reminded me how education is the most important tool which I
can use to improve myself and my community. After obtaining my undergraduate
degree in geography in the late nineties, I later moved to the United States a year
later to peruse a master degree in computer sciences. After arriving in the US, I
learned that life was not as easy as I thought. I could not afford the tuition, paying
my bills and taking care of my family. I later dropped out of school to work some
low paying jobs in order to save money to continue my education. After several years
of contemplating what to study, I enrolled in a community college to continue my
education in radiologic technology. As an undergraduate student I developed a huge
passion for computers, I took some... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I was hired as a radiographer in a local hospital. I gained a lot of clinical
experiences in the healthcare setting. I fell in love with job, I enjoyed helping
people. This gave me an opportunity to meet people and be compassionate about the
sick. After a few years of working as a radiographer, I took some more certification
courses and exams in computed Tomography (CT scan) and Magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI) which boosted my skills and knowledge as a radiologic technologist.
Because of my love for information technology, I took a course and exam in
medical imaging informatics and was certified as an imaging informatics
professional (CIIP). With my experience and knowledge, I was promoted to the
position of coordinator and in charge of imaging informatics (PACS administrator).
Under the tutelage of my Director, I learned valuable leadership skills. I began doing
some training and administrative duties coupled with intermittent clinical work. This
position has also awakened my desire to pursue my graduate education and acquire a
solid background I so desire to shape my interest in healthcare and computer
Experimental Research And Experimental Methods
Experimental
To be competitive as renewable energy recourse turbines in wave energy generation
must be robust and economical for a number of years. Approaches utilize
experiments to characterize and predict the effect of parameters involved. One of
which is advancements to turbine blades due to unsteady hydrodynamic loads.
Characterizing these loads can determine their fatigue life and determine a more
reliable material to be used for manufacturing the blades avoiding premature failure.
Reliability is necessary due to most renewable wave energy devices are being placed
in remote locations where it is not economical to maintain or replace failed hardware.
Turbulent flow across the turbine blade creates moments and bending of the blades ...

This loading in a circular motion is associated with yet another type of loading which
is dynamic inflow.
The objective of recent experiments is to study and experimentally quantify the
unsteady loads on a horizontal axis turbine blade from turbulent forces with similar
operating conditions in which the boundary layer is maintained along the edges of
the blades. Therefore a new data set was to be obtained providing bending moment
responses to oscillatory frequencies and velocity amplitudes. By performing a series
of multi frequency and half sinusoidal experiments may demonstrate whether single
frequency forcing could be applied to model these more general responses2. A recent
article titled Blade Loading on Tidal Turbines for Uniform Unsteady Flow2 performs
the experiment with valid materials and methods in order to better predict this
phenomenon of turbulent loads and fatigue life along with the results of the
experiment.
Another recent experimental approach is decreasing cost per installed kilowatt. In
order to utilize alternative energy such as wave energy it must be as cheap or as
cost effective as current energy sources such as fossil fuels. Harnessing energy from
alternative sources and then converting the energy into electrical energy would
reduce the demand of current processes. Worldwide ocean power capacity is
approximately 6 Megawatts and over the next few years it is projected to increase to
35 Megawatts3. For this reason
Dangers Of Pokemon Go
Pokemon Go is a free to play game on iPhone, Android, and other smartphones that
uses location (Google Maps) and data (service) to spawn virtual monsters
(Pokemon) for you to catch. Ever since Pokemon Go released back in July of 2016,
it has caused so much havoc, with deaths and other injuries related to the game
(Miller), that China banned Pokemon Go because of the dangers behind the game,
along side with the threat of China being hacked! (Sun). Pokemon Go should NOT
be banned in China because people are just overreacting, people are getting rid of
weight and their anxiety, and it increases revenues at restaurants that are Pokestops or
Gyms in the game.

Pokemon Go helps businesses increase profits and helps people get over their
PTSD and anxiety, which is HUGE. Without Pokemon Go, so many people would
still be inside, and some restaurants may or may not be able to stay open, meaning
without Pokemon Go, your favorite restaurant or shops may close down. One
good example is how their is a toy shop in Eugene called The Dancing Weasel, and
it isn t a popular shop, but since it is a Pokestop and has 6 or 7 Pokestops, along
side with Pokegyms next to it, I can guarantee that it has increased in profits. I
mean, hey, I even went in there to see their shop just because they were a
Pokestop. Pokemon has grown so much in the past 21 years, but Pokemon has
never been more popular than how it was last year. With so many stories about
how Pokemon Go helps with life problems and disorders, if China still bans this
game, it s their loss! So I advise anyone who is reading this to get outside and play
Pokemon Go, and to support your community, alongside with making some new
friends in the
Hard Power on Iran
Paper 1 This paper will show that the US and its allies should take a more Hard
Power approach when it comes to nuclear program of Iran. The paper will show
how Iran cannot be trusted, due to its history of braking its word, and how the
deals that we have made so far shows that the world is giving them the ability to
create nuclear weapons. Also I will show how the resent agreements mad heave not
done enough to stop Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. The first thing we have to
look at is how trustworthy has Iran been in the past. If Iran cannot be trusted then a
Soft Power approach will not work. The U.N. had already found the country in
violation of its international agreements in 2003 (Obama s Iran Gamble) Iran was
caught red handed violating its U.N. treatyobligations when it built a secret uranium
enrichment facility in the mountains near the town of Fordow.(Obama s Iran
Gamble) This shows that Iran cannot be trusted to follow any diplomatic agreements.
No matter what interoperations are given, Iran s right to enrichment has been
recognized, (FoxNews) said the Iranian president Rouhani after the resent nuclear
deal was reached. This is perhaps one of the biggest arguments against the new deal,
or any other deal that allows Iran to continue to run the nineteen thousand centrifuges
that Iran currently operates. (FoxNews) This states that by allowing Iran to continue
to manufacture nuclear material we are recognizing its right to make nuclear
material. This is a
The Development of American Sign Language Essay
The development of American Sign Language in the United States dates back to
as early as the 1600s. On Martha s Vineyard there was a relatively large Deaf
population due to genetics and heredity. This was thought to trace back to the first
people of the land, who traveled from Massachusetts and carried this genetic
deafness with them. Because there were so many people that were deaf living
there, it was extremely common for all people, deaf and hearing, to learn their own
version of sign language. This early form of sign language was known as Martha s
Vineyard Sign Language (MVSL) (Lapiak, 1996 2014). Little did the creators of
Martha s Vineyard Sign Language know, MVSL would be incorporated into the first
school for deaf students... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The time came that Gallaudet had to come back to the United States, but he had not
felt that he had learned enough sign language to bring this method of communication
back to the American people. Laurent Clerc agreed to come on the journey back to
the United States with him, teaching him more sign language along the way as
Gallaudet taught him English. When they arrived in the United States, the two were
able to put together the American School for the Deaf in Hartford, Connecticut in
1817 ( Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet, 2013). This school educated students from
surrounding areas that included Martha s Vineyard. The students from the
Vineyard were able to bring with them their land s created version of sign language
and intertwine it with their new schooling (Lapiak, 1996 2014). This was only the
beginning of education and schools for deaf students. Later in the 1800s, one of
Thomas Gallaudet s sons, Edward Miner Gallaudet, had a strong desire to begin
another school for deaf students. He chose Washington, D.C. as the location for
Gallaudet College, the first national college that was created specifically for the
needs of deaf students. In 1864, Edward Miner Gallaudet solicited President Abraham
Lincoln to sign the charter allowing for the establishment of this college. The student
enrollment was very small at first, but over time enrollment grew and eventually the
college was able to gain the title of
Fossils And Plate Tectonics
The realization of South America and Africa connect together like a puzzle is not
the only fact that Alfred and some scientists now has found. In the article, The
Distribution of Fossils and Plate Tectonics, it said that Alfred spent his life traveling
around the world looking for fossil evidence to prove his theory correct because that
is what was also recognized when he formed his theory. The article also mentioned
that the evidence he established was similar plants and animal fossils on the west
coast of Africa and the east coast of South America. Furthermore, other fossil
evidence that was found about plate tectonicsis how plant fossils in the Antarctic and
glacial deposits in the arid Vaal River Valley in Africa. For example, in

According to the video Animated Life: Pangea, Alfred Wegener spent his 20 30
years of his life trying to prove to everybody else that his theory was correct. This
is evidence is important because his discovery of the South America and Africa
fitting was the first piece of conformation of plate tectonics. Also, fossils from one
side of the Atlantic Ocean is on the other side is an piece of evidence that matters
because it displays that it would be impossible for the dinosaurs and animals in the
past to swim across it. Therefore, proving that Alfred Wegener s theory was correct
because the continents had to be connected for the animal and plant fossils to be in
different regions of the world. The fact that the plates traveling is an important
piece of evidence because it tells us that the Earth isn t a solid as some people
might think we are, and that there is always a part of the crust that is moving at a
slow rate. In the video Animated Life: Pangea there was a speaker named Roger
Mccoy, a professor at the University of Utah, said, while referring to the continents
and plate tectonics, And in fact are still moving today. Based on what is known
about plate tectonics, the Earth in 100 million years would more likely be different
than what it would look like today. In 100 million years from now the Earth would
probably have less land and more waters, meaning the continents

The Importance of Literature
Students around the world are enrolled in literature courses, either as part of an
academic requirement, or sometimes just for leisure. Regardless of what the
situation may be, these days in our current generation, life is too complicated, too
distracted, and too fast. In large part, I would say that this is because of technology.
Technology is an extremely valuable instrument today, one that lets us keep in touch
with family and friends, but one that at times may prevent us as humans from
looking at ourselves too deeply, keeping us from going to the place we don t want to
go. Too much involvement with technology can also impede on our ability to think,

powerful because not only does it express that the color of skin does not matter,
but we are able to learn from other characters in the story that through courage and
a strong sense of determination, goals are achievable. The story How It Feels to Be

very inspirational because despite having lived in a society where color mattered,
Zora Neale Hurston [did] not always feel colored. Even [then she] often achieve[d]

Modern Day Radio Research Paper
Between the telephone and the telegraph, one object sits perfectly between,
claiming the award for best electrical invention. The modern day radio is a perfect
hybrid between these two extravagant things. Of course, many inventions are to be
thanked for leading the way to this timeless possession, and the same can be said
about the radio itself. Still used today, the applications are endless. Before we
knew what to do with radio waves, a fast form of communication over long
distances was to use a telegraph. Samuel Morse and the other inventors found a way
to transmit electrical signals over a wire. Using a series of dots and dashes, Morse
Codewas revolutionary. In reality, however, it was merely a phase.

How Successful were the Methods used to Fight Apartheid in South Africa? This
essay will be discussing Apartheid and what methods were used to fight it, also
whether they were successful or not. The word Apartheid is an Afrikaans word for
apart or separateness. This was a law put in place by an Afrikaans Prime Minister
called Dr. Daniel Malan, Dr. Malan put this law in place in 1948 to keep the
Afrikaans race pure of any Black or Coloured blood, and there was always
separation between blacks and whites but this law made it legal and legitimate.
Apartheid was generally just a different approach to segregation. Blacks and

In 1952 the ANC and Indian Congress reacted by creating the defiance campaign
which targeted six laws the two organizations thought unjust including the law
above. By the end of 1952, 8065 protesters were arrested and sent to jail. The
defiance campaign ended in 1953 and was not successful in ending Apartheid but
it did have a major effect on the ANC; 3000 members joined the ANC during these
protests. (aylett 14 15) Nelson Mandela was a very important person in fighting
Apartheid because he was a leader to black people as the ANC volunteer leader
and part of the first black law firm in South Africa. He also created a new method
of fighting Apartheid. Before the Massacre at Sharpeville peacefully and non
violent methods had been used to fight Apartheid but the Youth League did not
think these methods were improving anything and moving too slowly for their
liking. So violent methods were introduced to the now secret ANC organization
and a new organization was created called Umkhonto we Sizwe or MK for short.
The methods were to blow up buildings to do with the government like post offices,
pass offices and electricity pylons making sure there were no people in them.
Mandela left South Africa to recruit supports of the MK and when he came back to
South Africa he was immediately arrested and accused of sabotage which Mandela
admitted to doing. At the trial Nelson Mandela did not go out without a
Sylvanas Windrunner Research Paper
As an undead leader who has lived through many wars, and fought off many
enemies, Sylvanas Windrunner would tear Canada up into little pieces. Sylvanas,
the Warchief of the Horde, would be the perfect fit for getting rid of Canada, and
their rebels. Sylvanas Windrunner is from the Word of Warcraft franchise. World
of Warcraft is a fantasy video game that you play online, and it is my favorite video
game because of the game s rich storylines and characters. She is the leader, or
warchief of the faction called The Horde . In early life, Sylvanas Windrunner was
appointed ranger general for her homeland of Silvermoon City. During her time as
a general, there was a war going on with a group of very violent people that called
themselves The Scourge . Sadly, she was murdered in the war against The Scourge

During her ranger days, she was a skilled huntress. After she was brought back, she
gained many new magical abilities. She ripped her own soul out of the
underworld, and brought herself back to life. After that, she was given darker,
magical powers. Sylvanas is described as having powers such as bringing the dead
back to life. This comes in handy because when she kills the enemy s troops, she
can bring them back to life and have them under her control. This is similar to what
Arthas did with the Scourge, so it s a little ironic. She is also extremely powerful,
although not looking like it. She may look like a normal elven woman, but she has a
plethora of charms casted onto her body, making it nearly indestructible. Sylvans has
1,380,000 health points, which is overwhelming compared to the average human in
the game. Average humans have around 400 health.. The day that Sylvanas marches
to Canada with her millions of troops will be a bad day for them, but an amazing day

Literature Surrounding Vehicle Speed Reduction

3.1 Introduction
This chapter critically assesses literature surrounding vehicle speed reduction
techniques and shared spaces. Developing a clear understanding of background
literature provides a strong theoretical foundation, and perspective to conduct an
effective investigation with regard to how vehicle speed and presence are crucial
aspects as to whether or not a shared space is successful. Therefore, this chapter will
begin with an overview of the history and development of shared spaces followed by
vehicle speed in shared space, risk homeostasis theory, speed reduction techniques,
horizontal traffic deflections techniques, and entrances and surfaces.
3.2 The History Development of Shared Spaces
Ben Hamilton Baillie, an architect in the United Kingdom coined the term shared
space, however, the original design and concept is accredited to Hans Monderman, a
Dutch traffic engineer who invented the term Woonerf in Netherlands, 1970 (Ben
Joseph, 1995). However, there are many examples today of shared spaces throughout
Australasia, Europe, the UK and the United States.
Historic evidence states that streets has been a place of interaction, movement and
activity. When cars were firstly introduced, the road corridors were still a place to
walk, move, and play. However, in the mid twentieth century motor vehicles become
more popular, where two concepts arose to dominate road design:
The most key role of a road is to accommodate efficient movement and fast journey

  • 1. Technology Essay Titles Crafting an essay on the topic of "Technology Essay Titles" can be both intriguing and challenging. While technology is a vast and ever-evolving subject, selecting the right titles and weaving them into a coherent essay requires a balance of creativity and factual accuracy. The difficulty lies in striking the right chord between being informative and engaging, as well as keeping up with the rapidly changing landscape of technology. The challenge begins with the need to stay current, as technology evolves swiftly, introducing new concepts and advancements regularly. This necessitates thorough research to ensure the information presented in the essay is up-to-date and relevant. Additionally, striking a balance between technical details and accessibility for a diverse audience adds another layer of complexity. • 2. Was Tsar Nicholas Emperor Unfit Tsar Nicholas II of Russia: An Emperor Unfit to Rule Ravaged Russia At the end of the nineteenth century, Tsar Nicholas II of Russia reluctantly took command of an empire overflowing with revolutionaries who were seeking change in response to hardships that their nation was facing. His timid personality, coupled with his lack of political education and military experience, made him unfit to calm the war fueled chaos that would soon envelop Russia. Nicholas series of unfortunate, unprepared and uninformed decisions began with his marriage and eventually ended with his decision to abandon the capital to lead his armies, ultimately leading to the demise of his imperial family s three hundred year dynastic tradition. The turn of the century illuminated Russia, commonly labeled as backwards by the other European powers, as the last remaining European autocracy. Russian society still operated on the estate system, which was characterized by an enormous gap between the upper class nobility and the lower class peasantry. Peasants comprised eighty percent of the population and only a fraction were educated. They had little understanding of government and were highly patriarchal. Many served as serfs. It was not until the 1860s that these serfs were freed from legal bondage by Nicholas grandfather, Alexander II. However, this was not enough to satisfy Russian citizens newfound taste of freedom. In the years following, they demanded he establish an elected parliament,
  • 3. The Grand Inquisitor Poem Analysis The Grand Solution for the Grand Inquisitor Here the devil is struggling with God, and the battlefield is the human heart, says Dostoevsky through Dmitri. In the book, The Brothers Karamazov, written by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Ivan and Alyosha seem to represent the Karamazov Heart, as they argue upon God s theodicy. Ivan announces to Alyosha that he wishes to recite a poem that he memorized called, The Grand Inquisitor, in order to justify his rebellion towards God. Here, I will give a general summary and analysis of the text, and finally, critique Ivan s philosophical ideas. The poem takes place during the 16th Century in Spain, at the time of the inquisition. Jesus appears, and goes to the Seville Cathedral, were he finds a dead girl in a white coffin. Jesus raises the girl from the dead, and people are amazed. However, the Inquisitor wasn t happy with what he saw, and ordered his guards to seize Christ. Christ was then taken to a prison, and later, the Grand Inquisitor appears to... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The Grand Inquisitor states that Christ could have come down from the cross when people told him, He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. However, Christ chose not to do so because he didn t want people to be enslaved by a miracle. Again, the Inquisitor states that the freedom given to man by God is too tough a burden, especially if we are to mimic Christ. True, thousands of people may be able to do it, but they are gods, sons of the most high, whereas others are left for damnation. Hence the question is raised. Can it be that you indeed came only to the chosen ones and for the chosen ones? But how is it that a good God lets his millions of his people die all in the name of freedom. Wouldn t it be his fault for giving man freedom, for it is by freedom that man condemns himself. Hence, Christ should of accepted the second offer by The
  • 4. The Monsters Of Miami. Monsters Of Miami I have always found it fascinating how creatures of certain species can blend into their environments as if they were apart of it. Some do it to protect themselves and others, the predators of the food chain, do it pick off unaware victims. They prey on the weak and the foolish using their cryptic camouflage. It is hard to spot them unless you are one of them and I can see them all. There is something about the Miami heat that you come to accommodate to. The food and culture is so alive and active, all through the day and night. People dance and sing to the rhythmic Cuban Jazz. Tonight I will not be participating in the local festivities though. Manuel was a younger guy, no wife or kids. Not really any family at all so it seemed. That is the case often with my kind though. We often find ourselves isolated from the world. I have seen how he operates. First he waits his prey out. Then he follows them until they are alone. To prevent from startling the target, he uses his badge to make the person settle down. His weapon of choice is a knife. He goes to place them under arrest and claims back up is on the way. As soon as their back is turned to him, with one quick movement in which he has perfected he slits the jugular vein. Although he is quick and clean he has one flaw that I have noticed. No matter who the victim is, he always takes the heart... I am carrying my bags up the garage. Level by level, the higher up it seems to be, the quieter it gets. Miami city this time of night can be a beautiful thing. The sounds of distant cars and loud drunken conversation. Drums beating and maracas shaking. Even in the night time the city s veins are pumping with the blood of human life. Soon I am on the top level. After scoping out the place I observe something peculiar. There are four cars lined up one by one. Very nice black SUVs, side by side. Those must be Jorge s. Yet once I scan the area again, I spot a little grey car. #%@! He was not supposed to be here yet. I was supposed to have time! What did I
  • 5. Gaming Communities And The Gaming Community Title: Gaming communities Name: Subject Name: Instructor s Name: Date: Gaming community is a type of community whose members have a common interest. Gaming community is contrary to social communities where members may exhibit different interests. Over time, computer games have grown contributing greatly to the growth of online gaming communities. In this regard, these gaming communities may be divided into two; game specific community and general gaming community (Ahmed, 2010). Game specific communities mainly focus on a particular single game. Everything in this community is specific to that particular single game. Therefore, discussions in these forums tend to be more specific and related to a particular game. On the other hand, general gaming community encompasses various games in one forum. This type of the gaming community tends to attract many members who can then engage on a general discussion on various games. In this kind of communities, it is also common to find demo games presented before the real game is played. With time passing on, the number of gaming community members is increasing throughout the world (Herald, 2014). According to Victorian Casino and Gaming Authority (1997), this gaming community operates on a number of ways. In every gaming community, there are three basic features of a gaming community within which it derives its method of operation. They include chats, forums and profiles. Just like any other software product. Before individuals

Rhyolite History The 19th century saw a construction and population boom in North America, as a result of the California Gold Rush and the flourishing of the mining industry all over the United States, which drew new settlers from Europe, Latin America and Asia. Why The Sons Of Liberty Were Important In The Revolution Why the Sons of Liberty Were Important in the Revolution The the Sons of Liberty were one of the most influential whig groups in the colonies. They helped rouse the population and committed various acts of defiance toward British rule. Without the Sons of Liberty their might have not been a revolution and our world would not be the same. The Sons of Libertyencouraged people to stand up against Britain and influenced the masses with writing through newspapers. They were famous for their brutal and violent protests that got the point across. British troops and militias also became aware of a certain degree of tension that existed among some colonists. Not only did the Sons of Liberty react with violence, they used various newspapers. The Sons of Liberty voiced their opinions through newspapers which caused colonists to start thinking and become less trusting of the British. Newspapers were able to influence people and their thoughts. The Sons wrote their opinions in newspapers and many of them ran newspapers. With control over newspapers they could easily slip in Whig propaganda. In reference to libertarianism.org, Many printers would support or share the same view as the Sons of Liberty because they were most affected by the Stamp Act. In addition to imposing a tax on newspapers themselves, it imposed heavy taxes on
  • 9. The Broken Windows Style Of Policing Some people think assigning officers to communities can be rewarding and some people think it is a form of punishment. Whatever the case may be, people need some form of protection. Crime is very real. Today s violence seems to go far past those standard reasons. As humans, people tend to overlook or forget who are there to protect the society from disorderly people. The good order of a community is important to those who lived and worked in the community. In other words, the little things matter to a person in his or her community. There will always be a person who cares and will take charge in the community. Arguments have been made that the application of the Broken Windows style of policing leads to negative results for the poor and minority residents of the area impacted. Smiling, my mother told us that if we could guess which of our siblings were currently home, she would tell us what movie she bought for us to watch tonight. The Prince And Discourse On Livy In his famous works, The Prince and Discourse on Livy, Machiavelli meticulously discusses the importance of religion in the formation and maintaining a political order. Machiavelli regards religion as a political tool used by political elites for political purposes. He argues that the appearance of religionis good while the practice of it is harmful. One of the memorable passage from the Prince that supports Machiavelli s claim is when he advices the prince to not to be good, and the prince should cultivate the appearance of the religion if he wants to maintain his state. The prince, he writes, should appear all mercy, all faith, all honesty, all human, all religion he adds and nothing is more necessary to have than this last quality (The Prince, 70). Here, Machiavelli argues, in order for the prince to maintain his state, it is necessary for the prince to go to the source of morality and by this he means religion. Thus, Machiavelli view on religion is nothing but a necessary tool for maintaining a political authority. Furthermore, Machiavelli stresses the importance of the religion as a political mean to control and govern the masses. In the Discourse on Livy, Machiavelli uses the example of how Numa the founder of Roman religion, manipulates the Roman people by using religion to maintain order and peace. Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... 518). Research Question Although a big part of German exports consist of low technology products, almost all research about factors influencing internationalisation of new ventures, has been done focusing on companies that operate in the high technology industry. The environment in which these firms operate is very different from the environment in which low technology firms operate. High technology firms face high R D costs, short product life cycles and mostly operate in niche markets (Knight Cavusgill, 2004). These conditions are very different for low tech firms (Evers, 2010). Here, R D costs and product life cycles play no significant role. Since studies about new venture internationalisation are so heavily grounded in the high tech sector, little is known about the factors that affect the internationalisation of firms in the low tech sector. This raises the possibility that past findings do not generalize equally well to all economic sectors (Zahra George, 2002). Furthermore, little research has been done about how environmental factors influence new venture internationalisation, and more research is necessary to find out how these factors influence early internationalisation (Fernhaber, 2007). Environmental factors are factors that a firm cannot control, and that are part of the external environment they operate in (Zou and Stan, 1998). These factors can have a significant push and pull effect on new ventures

Historically, the U.S. has done little to regulate and enforce laws on offshore accounts. As highlighted by the UBS and Credit Suisse cases between 2009 and 2011, the U.S. government has recently begun regulating offshore bank accounts on a heavier basis. This creates a myriad of legal issues for lawyers dealing with large banks, as they need to ensure the company complies with U.S. regulation wherever they are conducting business. A new provision of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) originally passed in 2010 which will take effect in July 2014. This new provision would require foreign financial institutions to report information about their U.S. account holders to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This includes both U.S. citizens and U.S. green card holders, no matter where they are living. If you were planning to move to a different country from the U.S and wish to move all your money with you, the IRS will still hold jurisdiction over your accounts. Defenders of offshore banking have criticized these attempts at regulations. Advocates for offshore banking have proven that there are some legal advantages to offshore banking. The most compelling advantages to offshore banking would have to be its privacy, flexibility and protection from political risks.

This can be seen when Pwyll grants the man Rhiannon is due to marry anything he requests. This characterization of Rhiannon is strong and sure; she is assertive and dominant, often domineering. (Ford 2008: p.36 37). Rhiannon s speech here displays her as a wise and learned individual. She is easily a match for Pwyll, and has been described by McKenna (2006:1622) as a catalyst in Pwyll s development as a competent ruler. This can be further seen as after Pwyll s naГЇve mistake she takes control and concocts a plan to return to Pwyll in a year s time. The words Rhiannon chooses show how she dominates the situation by repeating the pronoun I . I ll see to it (Davies 2007: 12). This suggests she feels she has to take control of the situation as Pwyll cannot, she thinks on her feet and immediately knows what to do. Rhiannon is an outspoken woman and is not afraid to force her opinion upon her husband and in doing so she carries the weight of the Kingdom of Dyfed on her shoulders through the weaknesses of her husband. She writes The poor always believe there is room enough for all of us; the very rich
  • 36. The Four Stages Of Piaget s Development Theory Piaget s Development Theory consists of four stages that that every human goes through from birth to adulthood. The four stages include: the sensorimotor stage, preoperational stage, concrete operational stage, and formal operational stage. The sensorimotor stage begins at birth and usually lasts up to two years of age. At this stage infants begin to participate and discover different sounds, see and touch their surroundings and various objects that catch their attention. By one month, an infant has learned reflexes such as to suck and grasp for nutrition (Santrock 178). By 18 to 24 months of age an infant masters object permanence, where the infant comes to find out that even though an object may be hidden behind another or disappears, they will continue to search because of their understanding that the object continues to exist despite not being visible (Santrock 179). The preoperational stage occurs from ages two to seven years of age where children begin to demonstrate their emotions and thoughts through words and drawings. In the elementary school years, a child s drawings become more realistic, neat, and precise. Suns are yellow, skies are blue, and cars travel on roads (Santrock 183). At this stage children, do not possess the ability to understand conservation. Instead they focus their attention on only one detail of a situation, this termed centration. The concrete operational stage involves children from ages seven to eleven years of age. At this stage children begin to logically think and organize based off detail. Children begin to demonstrate seriation, which involves being able to organize based off quantitative dimension such as length (Santrock 185). An example being having a teacher instruct his or her students to organize wooden sticks by length. Formal operational stage starts from ages eleven to fifteen years of age. The final stage of Piaget s stages involves teens being able to think and form abstract and critical thinking. They use hypothetical deductive reasoning that is, they develop hypotheses, or best guesses, and systematically deduce which is the best path to follow in solving the problem (Santrock 186). As adolescence comes around, thoughts of egocentrism begin to

Some schools offer a marine biology degree and most of these are located in coastal states, but the undergraduate degree need not be in marine biology. It can be in biology, zoology, fisheries, or one of the other animal sciences. Physical oceanographers, who study the physical as opposed to the biological aspects of the sea, may work toward an oceanography degree, with coursework weighted heavily in physics, mathematics, and computer modeling. Biological oceanographers study both the biological and physical aspects of the sea and their interactions. Your best bet would be to refer to the guides mentioned above and contact the schools that interest you and learn more about the programs and degrees they offer. A bachelor s or master s degree is usually required for most starting marine biological research jobs, but you should also be aware that the usual level of education required to carry out independent research in biology is a Ph.D., so if you are serious about a full time career and want to organize your own research projects, you should get your doctorate. Gap has a sustainability and environmental issue when sourcing cotton. Gap Inc. scored a 0.5 out of a scale of 0 to 19.5 on cotton ranking, conducted by Rank a Brand. Which assessed their cotton policy, sourcing and traceability based on publicly available information . Besides the sustainability concern, gap has an environmental issue. Sourcing unstainable cotton uses a tremendous amount of water, as It takes more than 5,000 gallons of water to make enough cotton for just a T shirt and a pair of jeans . It is also unclear to the consumer in which countries the cotton is sourced. If the parent sells between 50% and 100% of its subsidiary shares, on the other hand, and the subsidiary s business is important to the parent, there is a strong argument in support of needing shareholder approval. The requirement for shareholder approval is significant because proxy materials must be mailed, a shareholder meeting must be organized and approval must be obtained before the transaction can be completed. If the parent s shares are registered under the Exchange Act, proxy materials must comply with Regulation 14A and meet disclosure requirements. This loading in a circular motion is associated with yet another type of loading which is dynamic inflow. The objective of recent experiments is to study and experimentally quantify the unsteady loads on a horizontal axis turbine blade from turbulent forces with similar operating conditions in which the boundary layer is maintained along the edges of the blades. Therefore a new data set was to be obtained providing bending moment responses to oscillatory frequencies and velocity amplitudes. By performing a series of multi frequency and half sinusoidal experiments may demonstrate whether single frequency forcing could be applied to model these more general responses2. A recent article titled Blade Loading on Tidal Turbines for Uniform Unsteady Flow2 performs the experiment with valid materials and methods in order to better predict this phenomenon of turbulent loads and fatigue life along with the results of the experiment. Another recent experimental approach is decreasing cost per installed kilowatt. Because there were so many people that were deaf living there, it was extremely common for all people, deaf and hearing, to learn their own version of sign language.
