1. Internet Privacy Essay
Crafting an essay on the theme of internet privacy is no simple task, as it involves delving into a
complex and rapidly evolving landscape. The challenges lie not only in gathering relevant
information but also in navigating the intricate web of privacy concerns, technological
advancements, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations.
Firstly, the sheer breadth of the subject makes it daunting. Internet privacy encompasses a wide
range of issues, from data breaches and cyber threats to surveillance practices and the ethical
implications of data collection. Narrowing down the focus while ensuring that the essay remains
comprehensive and relevant is a delicate balancing act.
Staying updated is another formidable challenge. The internet is an ever-shifting terrain, with
new technologies and privacy controversies emerging regularly. Keeping abreast of the latest
developments is crucial to provide an accurate and insightful analysis.
Moreover, the ethical dimension adds complexity. Addressing the ethical implications of internet
privacy involves navigating through various perspectives, considering cultural differences, and
weighing the interests of individuals against societal needs. Striking the right ethical balance
requires a nuanced understanding of the subject matter.
Additionally, synthesizing information from various sources while maintaining a coherent and
cohesive narrative can be demanding. Juggling technical details, legal nuances, and ethical
considerations requires a high level of analytical skill and clarity of expression.
In conclusion, writing an essay on internet privacy demands a multifaceted approach,
incorporating technical knowledge, legal acumen, and ethical awareness. It is a task that
necessitates continuous learning and adaptability to keep pace with the evolving nature of the

3. The Laws Should And Should Not Be Place
Law is fluid. This statement can be interpreted in a number of ways with no exact
answer. One can construe it as law being ever changing or law varying from place
to place. The fluidity of law is very clearly illustrated in the assorted judgments of
law itself. In particular, many are strongly opinionated regarding which laws should
and should not be place. St. Thomas Aquinas, a traditional law theorist, raised many
questions concerning law as he had substantial sentiments around law. He combined
the philosophy of Aristotle and Christian geology to create the Traditional Natural
Law Theory. Aquinas defines law as nothing else than an ordinance of reason for the
common good, made by him who has care of the community and promulgated ...

Similar to so, Aquinas declares that a law is unjust laws if it is contrary to human
good and again, opposed to divine good. Additionally, just laws are the foundation to
acquiring virtue. As Aquinas s claim will be elucidated and objected, one will be
clear to conclude that Aquinas speaks of the truth.
There are different characteristics that create a law. In the light, there are a number
of characteristics that determine if the law is just. Aquinas strongly imposes that
all laws must be just. If not just, then they are invalid, unnatural, and perceived as a
perversion of law (Aquinas in Dimock, ed., 2002, p.20). Aquinas states that every
human law has just so much of the nature of law as it is derived from the law of
nature (Aquinas in Dimock, ed., 2002, p.20). The essence of natural law is to elude
evil and achieve good. It is an outlet of eternal law, the legislator being God, in which
He commands Nature. Natural law applies only to rational creatures, as opposed to
eternal law which applies to nature as a whole. Naturally, the pursuit of good among
humans come in accordance with natural inclinations that is obtained as living
creatures, animals, and rational thinking. Man strives for self preservation,
procreation, and the pursuit of knowledge. With the nature of humans, and nature of
natural law, it is manifestly an ordinance of
4. St. Augustine of Hippo, Bishop and Theologian Essay
St. Augustine, Bishop of Hippo, was one of the greatest theologians of his time.
He is still regarded in the highest manner. He was raised in a divided home, but
through time he found the truth. He was always a superb student. He fully
mastered Latin; however, he never grasped Greek. He was also very crafty in
speech a black belt of rhetoric if you will. After his teenage flings and rebellions,
he found a heretical sect in which he became involved for a while. He traveled and
landed in Milan for a while where he met the bishop. He then discovered that
Christianity was a suitable religion for a philosopher. Finally, via Bishop Ambrose,
Augustine converted to Christianity in 386. Later, he wrote books such as Confessions

This is Augustine saying that he always knew about Jesus and that his mother had
taught him well, but he just never fully understood or let himself see Jesus until his
true conversion. It was nothing that Monnica had not taught him, but his own hard
headedness that kept him from seeing the truth. His father wanted Augustine to be
a lawyer until they found that he had such an inclination for rhetoric. He became
the top of his class and continued to excel in almost all his subjects. He swiftly
mastered Latin; however, he never learned Greek, the reason being that his
instructor was an abusive man and physically punished his students. Because of the
association of the Greek language and this violent man, Augustine never could
bring himself to learning it. He began to excel in rhetoric; in which, he would later
make his career. Augustine had the potential to become a great politician because
he could easily sway people with his words. As seen in history, many people who
can talk well get elected, but the people with the real stuff do not get into the high
offices. After his schooling, he went on to become a rhetoric professor in the city of
Carthage. *5(Hutchins) His rhetoric was so good that in 377, he entered a poem

intertwined with togetherness. The mother of all mothers, the landlady , guardian of
all who live under her roof, orchestrates an unfolding story that is captivating and
compelling. It Is her love that permeates the other characters within this story.

6. Analysis Of Countee Cullen s Yet Do I Marvel
After World War 1, The Harlem Renaissance was the name given to the social,
culture, and artistic explosion that took place in Harlem New York, around the
1920 s to mid 1930 s. The first poet I chose from the Harlem Renaissance was the
American poet, Countee Cullen. Countee was a very influential Poet who voiced
his beliefs and thoughts regarding racial and civil rights through his art in poetry.
The work, Yet Do I Marvel, takes racial themes, such as the killing of black youth
through Lynching for a crime he did not commit. The poem is dark and makes
reference to Sisyphus and speaks of how life is a constant struggle. In the Poem he
speaks to God wondering why, knowing that God is supreme but yet he does not stop

at Lincoln, he published his first book of poetry, The Weary Blues in 1926; as well as
his inspirational essay, seen by many as a cornerstone document articulation of the
Harlem renaissance, The Negro Artist and the Racial Mountain.
Earlier in the year of 1926, Freda Kirchwey, editor of the Nation , mailed Hughes a
proof of The Negro Art Hokum, an essay George Schuyler had written for the
magazine. George Schuyler, who was the editor of the African American newspaper
The Pittsburg Courier , questioned in his essay the need for a separate African
American artistic and literary tradition.
Hughes, who clearly understood a fellow African American poet s deep desire to be
considered a poet and not a Negro poet, as that poet s wish to look away from his
African American heritage and instead absorb white culture, Hughes essay spoke to
the concerns of the Harlem Renaissance as it celebrated African American creative
innovations such as jazz, spirituals, and literary work of the African American life.
Hughes, saw this issue at hand to be the challenge African Americans Art in America.
This was the urge within the race toward whites, the desire to influence racial
individuality into the mold of American standardization, and to be as little Negro and

Our intention is to do the aforementioned in a manner that will allow us to manage
all of the files and resources from a central location by implementing a server to
our current network architecture. Reasons to Change. In the past our peer to peer
network architecture served us well by providing us with a way to share our files
and resources in a manner that did not require much planning. Unfortunately, as a
peer to peer network grows it becomes more difficult to maintain due to its lack of
centralized control which makes it un scalable. With the addition of fifty
individual workstations, security access and file storage control remains in the
hands of the user. For example, should someone decide to delete a company file,
there would be no way of knowing. Once there are more than five or six
workstations attached peer to peer networks begin to pose as a security threat that
may cause loss of sensitive company data due to virus and spyware attacks.
Fortunately advancements in technology have provided a viable solution for
rapidly growing small businesses such as our own called servers. Our Viable

8. The Importance Of Community Ligagement And Outreach...
Community engagement and outreach librarians are a relatively new and growing
speciality in public librarianship. The idea of outreach is not a new concept for
libraries. The Offices for Literacy and Outreach Services was established in the
1970s, formerly the Office for Literacy Services to the Disadvantaged (McCook,
2011). While community engagement and outreach can have different connotations,
for the purposes of this paper, they are going to be used interchangeably, as the duties
and responsibilities for each type of librariandoes not vary much in job postings. The
ALA describes outreach librarians as providers of equitable delivery of library
services to all people through the development of programs, policies, practices, and
behaviors which make the library available to all people (ALA, n.d. c). Many libraries
are just hiring their first community engagement and outreach librarians, such as The
Verona Public Library (Newton, 2017). Community engagement and outreach
librarians seek ways in which to develop deep connections with the community
organizations and residents while being the face of the library. This staffing trend
moves libraries away from their desks and out into the community to reach
community members where they are (Stevenson Domsy, 2016).
Scope and Tasks A big question in outreach is should the goal be focused on bringing
people into the library or bringing library services out into the community (M.
Gehrke, personal communication, September

To start with, wine is produced only once a year, in the fall, when the grapes are
ripen. Grapes contain yeast and when these are compressed into a pot for a period of
time, then yeast ferments sugar in the juice into alcohol and Carbon Dioxide. A few
days later, wine is produced (Stefan, K. 2002)

During the Early Bronze Age, there was an establishment of a successful
winemaking industry in the Nile Delta, in Egypt and Palestine, by at least Dynasty

considered a beverage (drink) for the wealthy people, while beer and water were
consumed by the poorest people, until the coming of the Greeks in the Hellenistic
period (Brothwell, D. and Brothwell, P. 1998). Evidence of winemaking in Egypt,
were found on tomb walls picturizing winemaking scenes and the accompanying

end of the Old Kingdom, five wines all probably made in the Delta constitute a
canonical set of provisions, for the afterlife.
Amphorae were the so called jars, used for storing and transportation of wine. The
discovery of these amphorae in the tombs of Pharaohs at Abydos and those of their
families at Saqqara, confirmed the use of the wine since the ancient years

A few years ago, 13 year old Tavaris Knight was convicted by a criminal court jury
in Tampa, Florida, of kidnapping and raping a 43 year old woman. Prosecutors
proved that Knight, who was 12 at the time of the offense, had used a silver toy

gun, which he left behind.2 Knight s case had been transferred to adult criminal

Michael Sinacore pointed to Knight, saying, That young man is not a child. He
stopped being a child when he forced [his victim] into the woods and raped her. 3
Following conviction, Knight was sentenced to 15 years in prison by Florida

to Wallace s capture where he is tortured and publically executed. Prior to his

single word coupled with Wallace s inspiration and passion reunites the Scottish
Nobles, Robert Bruce XVII, and the Scottish clans to take up arms as a united front

Why Braveheart?
Braveheart and the character William Wallace explain how courage, passion, and
inspiration can motivate people to unite against a common threat even when the
odds of success are low. Additionally, the story of William Wallace illustrates how
leadership traits can have a long lasting effect. William Wallace stays true to his
beliefs with such dedication that even under the pressure of torture; he is capable of
motivating his fellow Scotsmen to fight for freedom after his death. This is true
leadership! Anyone that can inspire a following after death has reached the highest
tier of leadership. This is the epitome of a leader. Now this essay will transition to

13. Causes And Effects Of The Crusades
In the year 1095 the decision was made by Pope Urban ii to invade the Holy Land
and take the lives of many innocent souls in the name of God. This decision caused
one of the most horrible genocides of all time but this decision by the pope came as
a result of many other factors. Additionally the effects of the Crusadeswould both be
lasting and surprising. The Crusades had economic and demographic causes and the
effects were also economical and political. It is important to remember that the
causes effects and events of the crusades are subject to very different points of view
depending on which side of the story you hear. The effects for the Europeans were
much different than the effects for the Muslims. Specifically, the crusades had a
much smaller effect on the Muslim community than it did on Europe. The most
important thing that led to the Crusades was the demographic of the number of
knights in Europe. The most prominent effect from Crusades was the effect that it
had on politics in Europe.

The most obvious effect of these various episodes was the increased distrust between
christians and muslims. (Gonzalez, 352) It is not surprising that the crusades would
leave both sides with an unease of each other and this would continue for many years
to follow. More importantly though the crusade restored the belief in the church.
When Urban II called for the First Crusade, his authority was in doubt... by the time
of Innocent III, when the Fourth Crusade took Constantinople the papacy had
reached the apex of its power (Gonzalez, 353) This assurement in the church was a
welcome one for both the church and the noblemen of europe (due to their symbiotic
relationship of assuring each other s power) and it therefore restored the balance in

15. Pros And Cons Of Social Entrepreneurship
SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP AN OVERRATED PHENONMENA
Social entrepreneurship which has been applied in so many different ways by so
many different analysts that it s depth of vast complexity is still being unraveled and
it seems it is still in infancy. It is a multi interpretable concept and although the use of
the term is widespread its use is either overrated or misused. Hence, it is important to
firstly understand what social entrepreneurship really is.
To me, entrepreneurship is completely dedicating yourself to creating something out
of nothing, finding an opportunity and taking full advantage of it while embracing
new challenges every day. Social Entrepreneurship is an integrated part of

It allows for social change advocacy without the potential external consequences of
conventional activism. But increasingly, we are led to believe that entrepreneurs
and social enterprises are the avant garde of change making . Like every concept
has both pros and cons, similarly even social entrepreneurship has its own
demerits. On one hand it is one major factor in bringing change while on the other
end it is being overused by companies who start off with the motive of being
socially responsible and use this for the advantage in future ,by diverting their
focus on profits. The point is, all of a sudden, social entrepreneurship was
everywhere and everyone wanted to be one. The key to sustainable capitalism is
reasonable profits as opposed to maximizing profits. In the current system, a
segment of society is trying to maximize profits without concern for the impact on
the well being of the society as a whole, while another segment of social
organizations have to deal with the fall out. The system is not working. If it does
good in some areas it also does bad in others. The example of Toms one for one shoe
program though does charity and is a social enterprise but at its worst, it promotes a
view of the world s poor as helpless, ineffective people passively waiting for trinkets
from shoe buying Americans. While the shoes themselves probably won t lead to
any kind of disaster, that worldview can lead to bad policies and real, serious harm
also has a small negative impact on local markets. And so I have come to feel
increasingly uncomfortable with the term social entrepreneurship and its main actor,
the social entrepreneur . It creates a false separation between this is where we make
money, and this is where we do good . And that is exactly what is wrong with
capitalism today. Myths of social entrepreneurship are different from what and how it
really works in the

our results were in agreement with Amini et al.,(2014) who isolated saponin from

The purpose of this analysis is to examine the rhetorical appeals on an argument
presented by two different authors who have written about the subject of the Military
s Budget. In the article, Yes, Of Course We Should Cut Military Spending! by Henry
Blodget, He argues that Military Spending should be cut and given to more needed
civil programs. Contrary to Henry, the article, Reckless Cuts to US Military Spending
Leaving America Vulnerable. By Steven Cohen puts forth the argument that Military
Budgetcuts will leave the US Military unable to carry out their duties and will but
this country s interest at risk. This paper will examine the rhetorical appeals of
ethos, pathos, and logos found within each of the articles presented by these
authors. In addition, highlights of the author s similarities and differences in style
will be noted here as well. Henry Blodget, the author of the article Yes, of course we

23. Essay On The Characteristics Of A Good Father In The
Chosen
The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart. ~Luke
6:45. Men have an important role in society to lead and set a good example for the
next generation. If a man s heart is right with God, his goodness will shine like a
light to the world. A good father shows kindness and wisdom in the way he raises
his children. In the book The Chosen, Chaim Potok writes about Mr. Malter and
brings out some of the characteristics of a good father. Mr. Malter is a single father
who has only one son. Throughout the book, he demonstrates his kindness to
Reuven, uses wisdom in the way he raises him, and a calm sense of leadership.
All throughout the book, Mr. Malter shows his kindness not only towards his son,
Reuven, but also towards the boy who injured Reuven, Danny Saunders. After the
accident, Mr. Malter went to the hospital every day to spent time with his son. This
was challenging due to the fact that he was sick with a very bad cold and he also
had a large responsibility as a teacher. One day when he went to the hospital,
Reuven and Danny were out in the hall way talking. When Reuven introduced his
father to Danny, there was an awkward silence. Mr. Malter broke the silence and said
gently with quiet warmth. I see you play ball as well as you read book, Danny. I

24. Bad Girl Film Analysis
The American Cinema of the 1950s can be noted for its various portrayals of
masculinity and dominating consumer culture geared toward male gender. Arguably
hidden behind punks and gangsters was a class of defiant girls who subverted the
gender ideals of the time and are evidenced through a series of Bad Girl films. The
bad girl filmcycle is one of the latter trends of the 50s Social Problem film and an
examination of this cycle will provide theoretical speculation regarding its influence
on the rise of the Second Wave Feminist Movement.
In order to examine the potential influence of these films and the topicality of bad
girl representation during the 1950s scare of juvenile delinquency, the following
lines of inquiry will be explored:
1.An examination of the evolution of female representation in various film genres of
the 1950s highlighting the commonly subservient role of female characters and the
gender roles perpetuated through texts of this decade.
2.Next, I will reiterate the Social Problem film and the scare of juvenile delinquency
during the 1950s. I will introduce the bad girl film genre in more detail, expanding
the tropes/motifs of this cycle, and demonstrates how this genre can be
subcategorized as a social problem film.
3.In order to understand the contention surrounding the bad girl films and its context
in 1950s society, I will discuss the American Dream ideology of the time, primarily
through its portrayal on television. We can note the struggle
25. Examples Of Mock Epic And Rape Of The Lock
Mock epic is a narrative poem which aims at mockery and laughter by using almost
all the characteristic features of an epic but for a trivial subject. In the The Rape of
the Lock there is an invocation to Muses, proposition of subject, battles,
supernatural machinery, and journey on water, underworld journey, long speeches,
feasts (coffee house), Homeric similes and grand style but all for a simple family
dispute instead of a national struggle. The grand action of a low subject produces
comical laughter and makes the story more absurd. The subject matters in both of the
epic poems are grand. Like the epic poems, the poem The Rape of the Lock opens
with the proposition of the subject matter and invocation to the Muses to help him

The ritual sacrifices the Baron performs in the pre dawn hours are another mock
epic element of the poem, mimicking the epic tradition of sacrificing to the gods
before an important battle or journey. The fact that he discards all his other love
tokens in these preparations reveals his untrustworthiness as a lover. An epic poem
must contain episodes also. In the poem Rape of the Lock, Pope has introduced
the episodes of the game of Omber which suggests the powerful battle and the
cards involve the soldiers described in great detail. There is also the battle between
lords and ladies just like the battle in epic poem. But in mock epic this battle is
fought with fans and snuff instead of with swords and spears. There are single fight
between Belinda and Baron and between Clarissa and Sir Plume. Another vital
element of an epic is the active participation of supernatural machinery like god and
goddesses. In The Rape of the Lock, there are sylphs and gnomes. These aerial spirits
are small and insignificant things and are therefore, exactly in keeping with the
triviality of the

The purpose of this report is to provide a strategic analysis of Woolworths in its
Australian retailing and grocery industry. There are some external factors can be
affected to Woolworths strategy. To be analyzed how these factors impact to
Woolworths strategies we would use Porter forces five models as a framework for
analysis. They are threats of new entrants and substitute products, rivalry among
competing established competitors, threat of substitutes and bargaining power of
Woolworths suppliers and customers.
This report also provides the company situation analysis which will be analyzed the
internal environments of Woolworths. In this analysis, we will use SWOT analysis
which includes the strengths, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There are some reasons can be explained for this reason. Firstly, Woolworths have a
high market share in the industry. In addition, its business size is very big which
includes Australian overall market and some other foreign markets. A lot of selling
stores around Australia are good example. Moreover, the expensive start up costs are
another barrier for new competitors. Finally, the high annual profit of Woolworths is
hard for others to enter the retail and grocery industry in Australia.
3.2 Rivalry among established companies
The Australian retail and grocery industry has a high level of concentration ratio
because the available of some major competitors competing in the industry such as
Woolworths Ltd, Myer or Coles (Beaumont, 2004). It means Woolworths have a high
concentration of market share in the Australian retail and grocery industry. In
addition, the intensity of those strong competitors is boosting Woolworths Ltd have
been continuously creating a competitive advantage. Using effective strategy such as
low price, selling fresh food, and 24 hour delivery service, Woolworths Ltd and its
subsidiaries such as Safeway, Dicksmith and so on are continuously competing with
other rivals for a strong position in the industry (Porter, 1979).
3.3 Bargaining powers of buyers
Woolworth s customers have a highly powerful bargaining power. The reason is most
of Woolworths selling goods are from individual customers. They can
27. Australian Drought
In Australia drought has, and can be a serious issue, the Australian Bureau of
Meteorology says drought is Rainfall over a three month period being in the lowest
decile of what has been recorded for that region in the past. Bureau of Meteorology
records show that a fairly impacting drought in Australia around once every eighteen

There are three types of drought present in Australia, Meteorological drought is the
most basic and common, it is a period with less than normal precipitation.
Hydrological drought is when water storages such as dams and lakes, fall below
previous storage levels. This is a type of drought does not need a lack of water to
become and issue, it can also be caused by the overuse of water by people.
Agricultural drought is when there is not enough water present for the general
amount of crop production in an area. In 2009, The levels of drought in South
Australia continued, this was caused by a very dry summer. Melbourne had a level 3

The soil on the top becomes very dry and therefore is very vulnerable to wind
erosion. This can very easily lead to this land becoming unusable and therefore the
livestock and crop production that could or did happen in said area cannot
continue. People in cities can be directly affected as well; the Warragamba water
storage, which accounts for 80% of Sydney s water went from 76% full 2002, and
then dropped to 42% by 2005. The repercussions of these meant water restrictions
which included limited time to water plants and gardens, this also meant a complete
ban of sprinklers and hoses used on things like cars.
Overall, droughts not only affect the environment and ecosystems that belong to the
area in drought, but in turn also affect people; and in much larger cases, societies and
economical things like food pricing. The impact that drought has can come in many
forms and each to their own

30. Internet Security And The Security System
Business and people are using Internet for entertainment, e business and e commerce,
social networking, and communication to the people and business, but there have
always been threats to the Internet Security. Internet security is major concern in field
of technology, because there are various personal, business and government data on
the Internet. Today every businesses and organizations have their own securitysystem
to reach their goal of information security. Internet security systems are created to
reduce cyber attack risks, reliability, maintain confidentiality, and compliance with
privacy laws and national securitylaws. However security standard that has been
made, and laws brought by government are not more enough to protect Internet
Security, so more advanced security and more strict law by government should be
brought in action to protect Internet Security.
There are different kinds of security standards when integrating security approach in
new systems. Some government agencies and organizations use well established
standards while others companies make their own private security systems. Offsite
storage has been beneficial for business to store data on cloud due to storage
constrains. Devanney, the author of Offsite Information Storage: Cloud Computing
And Cyber Security Issue states that The Department of Justice classifies cybercrime

31. Roman Culture Depicted In Ridley Scott s Gladiator
In Ridley Scott s movie Gladiator, much of the storyline is based on facts about
what life was like in the Roman Empire. After the death of the much beloved
emperor Marcus Aurelius, the reign of the five good emperors came to an end.
Emperors were a major part of Rome s history, civilization, and rules. Although every
factual story that Hollywood gets ahold of usually gets fantasized in one way or
another, this one gave a decently accurate depiction of Marcus Aurelius, gladiatorial
training and shows, Roman military, as well as depicting the battles that the Roman
army fought. Things such as the relationship between Aurelius and his son Commodus

They were held in amphitheaters throughout the Empire and were often seen as
not only a social but also political gathering. The most famous and largest
amphitheater was the Colosseum, which could hold up to 50,000 audience
members. This public slaughter of human beings was seen as a form of
entertainment and a way to get people s mind off of stressful things. These games
were known to be extremely bloody and terribly gruesome. The movie represents a
pretty good depiction of what a real gladiatorial show would look like. The
Colosseum was used for other entertainment purposes outside of gladiatorial shows
such as mock naval battles depicting glorious victories in the name of Rome. To
this day we do not have any insight on how the Roman s could have flooded the
Colosseum and kept all of the water inside of it to host these events. In gladiatorial
shows, the gladiators that fought were criminals or slaves that were trained in
combat at special gladiatorial schools. There are only a few scenes in the movie
that show the gladiators training, but they show the teamwork that was used in
some games in order for the gladiators to live. Most of the time, gladiators were
used as sitting ducks. They were set up against huge, burly men who could kill
someone with their bare hands. These games were held from dawn to dusk and also
sometimes featured wild animals that had the capability to tear gladiators to bits and
pieces. Not only did animals face humans, but they were also paired up to fight other
wild animals until there was only one left standing. The animals that were most
commonly used in the games were buffaloes, bears, bulls, tigers, and lions. Also,
they did not always give gladiators weapons to defend themselves with; quite often
they sent them out to fight with absolutely nothing. During one of the games that
Maximus is involved in, he has to kill several tigers and roman soldiers with only one
sword and

The lifeblood on any online business is traffic and visibility. To get the most traffic,
merchants create affiliate programs, literally a virtual sales team to help promote
their site and products. Anyone can sign up to be an affiliate to most affiliate
programs. You promote their products, they do all the customer service, shipping, and
refunds of the product. You promote, and when the merchant makes a sale from a
customer that you referred, you make a commission.
The merchant may choose to pay a flat fee or a percentage of the product s price.
Let s say you re promoting a $149 product, and the merchant pays you a 50%
commission. For every sale you refer, you earn a $74.50 commission. To track the
people that you refer to the site, you re given an affiliate link. These are links that are
coded with identifiable information so that the merchant knows that the customer
came from your link and you are credited with the sale. Some merchants pay as high
as 75% commission.
Affiliate marketing is probably the easiest way to start an online business. You don t
need to have a website, products, a customer service or shipping department. You
simply send traffic to the merchant s website, and earn commissions. While it is easy

Chromatography This experiment was done in order to understand both fractional
distillations and gas chromatography. In addition, this experiment was done to
separate and identify two liquids that made up an unknown mixture. Gas
chromatography was used to figure out the ratio of these two liquids. In this
experiment, distillations were done. This is a technique that utilizes the differing
boiling points of two or more compounds in a mixture in order to separate the
compounds from the mixture. The way fractional distillation works is that the initial
mixture is boiled up to the point of the lower boiling point compound; this compound
then evaporates. This compound is then... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The volume and the boiling point of each collected sample was recorded in a table
(for Fractions A, B, and C). The data in the table was converted into a graph (both
of which are attached to the back of the report). There is, like in all experiments, an
ideal set of data. In this experiment, if the distillation for the unknown mixture
(which has two compounds) was done properly, the temperature vs. volume graph
should show two plateaus for temperature. (See hand drawn graph attached on
back). We look at the plateau temperatures because they are essential to find out
what the unknown compounds are. This is because the plateau temperatures show
us the boiling point ranges for the unknown compounds. In addition, as shown in
the table and calculations attached to back, the volume of the collected sample can
be utilized to figure out a ratio of the compounds. But, of course, since ideal and
pure samples were not collected, the ratios that are calculated are just estimates.
There is one plateau for the boiling point of both lower and higher boiling point
compounds. The lower boiling point plateau comes first. The transition phase that
occurs between the first and second plateaus was collected. This transition phase
represented the mixture of the two compounds in the experiment. If the
experiment yielded ideal results, sample A would show to be consisted of
primarily the lower boiling point compound. This would be the case up to the
point when the temperature is raised to match the boiling point of the higher
boiling point compound. The compound is sample C. During the experiment this
sample was gathered in a falcon tube. But there is some error in my results. Some
of the reasons why there was error in the experiment are stated. I boiled Fraction A
for too long, the boiling rate was too high, or a combination of these errors occurred.
If the boiling rate is too fast, the side arm will heat up as the

Human beings always have been curious creatures. We are a species that is always
searching for answers to unexplainable events. Take aliens for example. To us,
aliens may or may not exist (depending on your individual belief of course). Yet we
still take such an interest in them that we continuously search for answers and
proof of alien. Now that we have modern day technology, we can attain proof of
alien life form somewhere deep in outer space. But given the date 1692 in New
England, if we were to even come in contact with aliens it would have been
considered some supernatural phenomena, and even cause quite a bit of hysteria.
That is what happened to the puritans in Salem village during the Salem Witch
Trials, in Massachusetts, in the year 1962. The puritans of Salem village were
extremely paranoid, and they believed that if something can t be explained then it
had the devils influence. So when a group of Salem girls spoke up about the devil
and witches, the villagers of Salem went into a panicked frenzy. Truth of the matter
is that there were no witches in Salem nor was the devil at war against Salem; the
Salem Witch Trials were only a result of endless lies, conspiracies, and side effects
of an illness. Puritans first arrived in the new world in order to escape religious
persecution from the king in England . The puritans that established Massachusetts
were a group of business men who wanted to gain the right to govern themselves .

Introduction Through change in heat, this experiment was done to recognize
exothermic and endothermic reactions, which both relate back to the topic of
thermochemistry. Thermochemistry is study of energy changes that occur during
chemical reactions and state changes. A certain amount of energy is stored in every
substance in bonds. A system and its surroundings are used throughout the subject of
thermochemistry as a whole. A system is the part of the universe being focused on.
The surroundings are everything revolving around the system. In an exothermic
reaction, heat leaves the system and is absorbed by the surroundings, leaving the
reaction to seem like it is heating up. In an endothermic reaction, heat flows from the
surroundings and into the system, leaving the reaction to seem like it is being cooled.
Overall, the use of heat change allows the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The first and third reactions are categorized as endothermic because there was a
decrease in temperature, resulting in a cooler temperature. In reactions one and three,
heat flowed from the surroundings and into the system, which left the reaction to
seem like it was being cooled. The second and fourth reactions are categorized as
exothermic because there was an increase in temperature, resulting in a warmer
temperature. In reactions two and four, heat escaped from the system and was
absorbed by the surroundings, which left the reaction to seem like it was heating up.
Endothermic reactions occur when the system absorbs heat from its surroundings.
Exothermic reactions occur when the system releases heat into the surrounding.
Without the subject of thermochemistry, endothermic and exothermic reactions may
be unheard

mentions Eugene Talmadge, whom of which King believed had a better mind than
many in Georgia, yet Talmadge thought as King as an inferior being, but he was
still considered educated from every logical stand point. Ethos We are prone to let
our mental life become invaded by legions of half truths, prejudices, and
propaganda. Many decisions within a day are controlled and guided by the things
that have already been said to be good . In order to be good and accepted in society
it has to come from source when is credible and reliable but for that to happen
someone has to have their own opinion on a matter but with the education system
the way it is education is bias knowledge. Pathos For the Wiley College vs.
Oklahoma City College debate, the resolve is Negroes should be admitted to state
universities. Empathy is gained from the audience as the black students make their
case in support of the resolve. While the negative argued that a black student cannot
possible succeed in a white college, affirmative states
40. My Desires To Graduate High School
When I graduate high school there are some goals and desires that I would like to
have. Some of these goals are big and some of the goals are small. Most of the goals I
have set for myself I would like to achieve in the early stages after I graduate high
school. I would also like to have my desires by the time I m I turn thirty. We all these
goals and desires I want I realize that there are going to be some bumps down the
road and it s not always going to be smooth sailing. The Major goals that I have set
for myself are graduating collegewith either a degree in engineering or physician s
degree. I also want to find a job for one these two degrees as soon as I come out of
high school. Then as I work my way up the ladder with company I m with I would to
be a CEO over a physician s office or an engineering company. I realize that these
goals are not going to easy to achieve. I know down the road there are going to be
people who will stand in my way from getting to the top of the mountain and
reaching my goals. There may be sometimes when I hate my job and I start to think
about quitting. I just need to remember what got me to place wherever I may be
the time I turn thirty year old. I ll just need to wait it out and make sure whatever I
do it s pushing towards the goals I set for myself back... Show more content on

I think that is a good thing for me to have. I want most of my goals by thirty and if
I achieve all I want to achieve by that time I get set new goals for myself. I think
that this last year of high school is really going to teach me more about the real
world and what is really out there. Some people think it s a scary place, but others
think it s just waiting on you or me to seize the opportunity. These goals and desires
may be too big and maybe I won t achieve, but if I buckle down and I set my mind
to it I know that nothing can stand in my to achieving these goals and

42. Case Study 75 Year Old Hypothyroidism
Health assessment of 75 year old hypothyroidism patient is a process of collecting
and analyzing data. The data obtained from the health assessment guides the family
nurse practitioner (FNP) in developing plan of care. The health assessment of an
older patient focuses on the health history, physiologic findings, psychological data,
functional abilities and cognitive function of the patient (Buttaro, 2012).
When assessing an older adult, it is important that the family nurse practitioner (FNP)
to be able to distinguish between normal changes of aging and illness. In older adult
patients, clinical features of a disorder may present differently than those in younger
patients. Sensory deficit, cognitive impairments and functional limitations should be
considered when assessing 75 year old hypothyroidism patient. Skillful health
assessment techniques and communication skills are required to FNP especially to
assess old patients (Buttaro, 2012).
In most cases, hypothyroidism is easily treated, however, symptoms of
hypothyroidism are often subtle, and hypothyroidism is frequently underdiagnosed
resulting in potentially serious consequences such as myxedema coma in elders.
Therefore, careful assessment is very important (Buttaro, 2012).
Health History ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Health history provides a complete picture of the patient s past and present health.
Health history has the sequence of categories: biographical data, source of history,
reason for seeking care, history of present illness, past history, family history, review
of system and functional assessment (Jarvis, 2015). These information may
encompass changing environmental factors that patient may perceive or experience
described in concepts under RAM. Internal and external stimuli that patient may
perceive may lead to seeking care in first
43. The Waste Land And Recitatif Analysis
History and writing between the Civil War up to the present day has drastically
changed. Being in a Modern American Literature class, class readings are over the
changes in writings, the way dialect or speaking has modernized, and the author s
thoughts. Many would think coming into a Modern American Literature class would
be more modernized stories and poems. In our syllabus, The Waste Landlacks out of
showing direct thoughts, being reliable enough to understand and real modern
history. Which, is why I believe The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot should be switched out
with Recitatif by Toni Morrison. I will be comparing and contrasting The Waste Land
with Toni Morrison s Recitatif on setting, writing skills, and the authors themselves.
By comparing both stories, both authors, Morrison and Eliot made sure they
explained to us how emotionally available they were to both situations. The Waste
Land and Recitatif were both published at a time where humans were truly needing
the truth of reality. The Waste Land published after World War 1, in 1915, which
was a very unhappy time period for Europeans. The setting was set in London but
different areas, yet each speaker was set in a mental setting which made them realize
it was a waste land. It is one of the hardest stories that we have read this semester and
does not include any historical context, more of an emotional context from different
speakers. Thus, the point of the story. Eliot knows it is difficult to understand, he
realizes
44. Edgar Allan Poe Figurative Language
Edgar Allan Poe Edgar Allan Poe lived a sad, pitiful life. His poems are depressing
and they often revolve around death, loss of a loved one, or something of the like.
He is genuinely a dark person. Edgar Allan Poe has a truly dark way of writing and
describing not only how he feels, but also the way he perceives reality around him.
What is even more interesting is that he died in such a way, it would seem he would
write about the way he died.
Edgar Allan Poe was born on January 19th, 1809. He was born in Boston, MA,
united states. Unfortunately, he did not have a very good childhood. His mother and
father were both in the show business, and were both actors. His mother left him
when he was three years old. When he was eighteen years old, he joined the
military.(Biography.com) When Poe was twenty seven years old, he married his
cousin, Virginia Clemm. She was thirteen years... Show more content on

Edgar Allan Poe uses figurative language, and precision of language to explain
how he lost the love of his life, Annabel Lee. One example of figurative language in
the poem Annabel Lee is when Poe wrote, And neither the angels in Heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea can ever dissever my soul from the soul of the
beautiful Annabel Lee. His point in saying this is that his love for her is so great,
that he feels other worldly powers such as angels or demons could not diminish or
corrode his love for her. A second example of Poe s figurative language in the poem
Annabel Lee, is when poe wrote, I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom
by the sea, But we loved with a love that was more than love I and my Annabel Lee
With a love that the Seraphs in Heaven Coveted her and me. By saying this, Poe
says that he feels the Heavens are Jealous of him and his Annabel Lee. Jealousy,
According to the Bible, is a sin. He, of course, was not being literal. Poe was simply
using that phrase to exaggerate how he
45. Analysis Of Laura Mulvey s Film, Visual Pleasure And...
Katlyn Riggins
WGST 343: 500
Fall 2015
Topic Number 4
Women in film are often portrayed in a manner deemed pleasurable to the male
viewer. Laura Mulvey takes this concept and dissects it within her article Visual
Pleasure and Narrative Cinema. Mulvey references the term male gaze, wom[en]
displayed as sexual object[s] is the leitmotif of erotic spectacle: from pin ups to
strip tease, from Ziegfeld to Busby Berkeley, she holds the look, and plays to and
signifies male desire (Mulvey 40). Because of this interpretation it is relevant to
examine different forms of media, such as films, to establish if the male gaze is
present. Furthermore, it is appropriate to analyze films directed by women to identify
the male gaze, due to their unique interpretation of female character s visual
representation. In the essay that follows, it will consider Girlfight and Dance, Girl,
Dance to analyze how two separate female filmmakers, Karyn Kusama and Dorothy
Arzner respectfully, challenge the theory of the male gaze, along with comparing and
contrasting the methods in which such challenges were made, and finally it will
address how any filmmaker may object the male gaze.
Within the film Girlfight, director Karyn Kusama presents the audience with a strong
female protagonist. Actor Michelle Rodriguez debuts her career portraying the lead
role of Diana and gives the audience a unique interpretation of the character. We first
see the heroine, through a crowd of teenagers walking
46. Admission Essay For Nursing Admission
My interest in Michigan State University s Nursing Program stems from its core
values and philosophy it abides by as a school. The strong emphasis on evidence
based nursing and research represents the form of learning that will set me apart from
other nurses once I graduate. As a future nurse, I understand that nursing is a career
that changes daily with new patients and technology. Attending a nursing school that
values the mindset of teaching students through evidence based nursing is critical to
me so I can easily adapt to the daily changes. This program will prepare me for these
upcoming challenges through rigorous courses and unique opportunities to
participate in undergraduate research programs. It is impossible to be ready for
every challenge as a nurse, but Michigan State will prepare me in the best... Show

At the Children s Hospital,I assisted nurses and physicians to consolidate patients
throughout their preoperative and postoperative care. Reflecting upon this experience
as a future nurse, I learned how to interact with patients while they were under
stressful conditions. Each patient handled their experience at the hospital differently,
which made it vital for me to learn how to adapt to these conditions to provide the
best care.
Similar to my duties at Helen Devos Children s Hospital, I also held a position at
McLaren Hospital in Lansing as an assistant with the Medical/Surgical Nursing Unit.
My responsibilities consisted of assisting nurses with patients ranging from
adolescence to geriatrics. In hindsight, this experience strengthened my patient
interaction skills and shed light on the difficulties nurses face every day with
disagreeing patients and coworkers. These are unavoidable challenges nurses
encounter and by working alongside nurses at McLaren Hospital I was taught ways to
constructively deal with these
47. The Concept Of Time In Roberto Bolano s Amulet
Time is a wonderful part of the world and our lives. Time allows us to learn, grow,
make memories, feel emotions, teach, and meet new people, just to name a few.
Sometimes, we may not think we have enough time for our various goals because of
numerous distractions. The concept of time can be hard to understand because it is a
cycle but something we cannot return or get back. In Amulet, timeplays a large factor
in the way that Auxilio tells her story.
The character Auxilio in the book Amulet, is a unique character who is engulfed in
the writing and poetry of Mexico. She calls herself the mother of poetry because of
all the ties she has with the various artists in Mexico including Arturo Belano
(Roberto Bolano s alter ego in the book). Amulet describes her experiences with
these artists over the course of the book as she tries to find herself , find her meaning
in life. Time plays a very large role in how she depicts this story and how she
describes her relationships with these writers. The unit of time is a part of the
setting in the story. It helps describe the era and provides context for the reader.
Setting is very important to a good story, therefore so is time. Roberto Bolano
understood this, which is why he uses the word time , in multiple variations, 175
times over the course of Amulet. Here are some examples of how Bolano uses the
term in the book with Auxilio. At one point Auxilio says, Let me stretch time out like
a plastic surgeon stretching the skin of a
48. Causes And External Factors Of Extrinsic Ageing
This essay will focus on the internal (Intrinsic) and external (Extrinsic) factors that
will have an effect on the aging process. Intrinsic ageing is when it is genetic or
chronological ageing and extrinsic is environmental or their lifestyle. There is a
range of internal effects including hormones and physiological decline, however, this
essay will focus on genetics and ethnicity. The external factors that will be discussed
are sun exposure and lifestyle.
Genetics play a major part on skin ageing, Your genetic factors dictate the rate at
which the ageing process processes (Eucerin, 2017). Therefore, it can influence
how quickly the skin ages and how it affects the overall skin condition due to the
skin being made of so many proteins, for example, the basic structure of the skin is
collagen which is a protein and also melanin which gives the skin its pigment
(Siddons, 2009). As well as, Signs of aging [sic] occur when the fibroblast cells that
step in to repair damaged collagen fibers [sic] cannot complete their work a
product of aging [sic] cells (Dermascope, 2017). Once you start to get older your
body s collagen slows down, which provides the skin with its strength and
flexibility. The body also replaces skin cells at a slower rate as you age this and
other influences cause the skin the to result in wrinkles, freckles and age spots (Oz,
2017). Additionally, keeping hydrated is essential for the skin the amount of
hyaluronic acid found in the dermis begins to
