methylcyclohexanol by heating it in the presence of phosphoric acid and determining
which alkene product would be the major product. Methylcyclohexanols were
dehydrated in an 85% phosphoric acid mixture to yield the minor and major alkene
product by elimination reaction, specifically E1. The alkenes were distilled to
separate the major and minor products and gas chromatography was used to analyze

provide a higher quality of education. As we see a higher emphasis on assessments and
the accountability on teachers. We are now required to provide evidence of student s
achievements (Rink Williams, 2003). We can provide these achievements with hard
copies of assessments taken by the students. Earlier in the paper I had mentioned the
two assessments commonly used through out schools. Another assessment that is
highly used in physical education is authentic assessment, which was promoted by
Grant Wiggins (1989). This sort of assessment places students in real world problems
which students may use skills and knowledge to solve these issues (Jacalyn Lund,
1997). There are about 15 forms of authentic assessments. These forms are teacher
observation, self observation, checklists, demonstration, peer observation, event task,
group projects, student projects, oral discourse, student log and etc. With Mitah

One can say that being successful is based on your actions and how you prepare
for the future. In Outliers: The Story of Success , written by Malcom Gladwell, he
stated that many factors come into play regarding the success of an individual. In
regards to Mike Honda, He was a congressman from, California and spent his early
years in a Japanese internment camp. Whether if the person was talented or not,
Gladwell made intelligent observations when thinking about successfulness. I
completely agree with Gladwell on most of the points that he made and I believe
that if most of the guidelines such as the 10,000 hour rule, advantageous era of birth

Blockade of Berlin was a plan that stalin had to starve people by closing off all roads
and railways. The blockade was a major crises of the Cold War. Stalin started to take
