Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) who improves the road safety and transportation productivity.
VANETs include two communication types i.e. Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Roadside
(V2R) communications. One of the most important challenges of this kind of network are the timely,
safely and reliable dissemination of messages between vehicular nodes which permits the drivers to
take appropriate decisions to improve the road safety. There are many routing protocols for VANETs
which can support the reliability and safety for routing. These protocols undergo the several
limitations including complexity, lack of scalability, end to end delay, routing overheads, etc. To
remove these limitations, various bio inspired methodologies have been proposed for routing among
vehicular nodes in an optimized way. Here in this paper, various bio inspired routing algorithms for

The Importance of Contemplative Practices in an Academic Environment (pt. 1)
Contemplative practices can take several forms, including meditation, prayers, and certain physical
exercises such as yoga. Before taking Education in the USA, I had spent very little time participating
in these practices except for the occasional yoga session my former tennis coach would instruct me to
attend. However, these were cases of me superficially participating in that practice. Since participating
in our Wednesday discussions which include a 5 to 10 minute period of meditation, the what s

words in the center of the room I have become increasingly aware of the importance of these practices
in relation to both the material we are covering in lectures as well as our individual beings. In my
opinion, the respective purposes of these different contemplative practices have been to cultivate a
sense of mental calmness while taking a break from our busy lives, identify the importance of fully
embracing the present moment, and expose us to different viewpoints and reactions regarding certain

A person s identity relies heavily on one s memories. How can one know who they are, if they cannot
remember who they were and what they experienced to get to the present? In Memento, director
Christopher Nolan highlights the importance of memory in forming one s identity. The movie follows
a man named Leonard who is determined to track down and kill the man who raped and murdered his
wife. Unfortunately, Leonard suffers from anterograde amnesia, meaning he can remember everything
leading up to the incident, but he is incapable of forming memories of anything which occurred after
his wife s death. Throughout his investigation, Leonard compensates for his handicap by writing
himself notes which he tattoos on his body. But as Leonard s investigation moves forward, Leonard
himself cannot. With his wife s death as his last memory, he finds himself out of sync with the rest of
the world as his identity remains stuck in the past. In Memento, Nolan uses editing and mise en scene
to reinforce the idea that a person s identity relies heavily upon their memories.

What is the meaning of courage? This is a question that many people ask themselves. Is courage doing
something others are too afraid to do or is it facing your fears and pain? You can find examples of

Redemption, and Plainsong. I have also shown courage with my past and how I grew up. The way that
I showed courage in my past was facing what scared me the most. Two of the things that scared me
the most was watching my mom get abused and worrying about food. As a kid we were forced to
watch my mother get abused by her boyfriends. The only time my sister, brother and I got food was
when we would go and beg for food from our neighbors. My mom also taught us how to steal, which
was a bad habit I had until I broke it at 12 years old. We all developed habits, my sister hoarded food,
my brother hurt himself, and I stole stuff. When I moved in with my Aunt, I was 8 years old and it was
the happiest day of my life. However, I was still not getting a lot of food because my sister would eat
her food then eat all of mine. This happened until my sister turned 18 and my Aunt found out and
kicked her out because she was abuse me. I found the courage to stand up and tell my Aunt so the
abuse would end. My life started out rough, but at least it taught me what not to do in life and what to
try and avoid. I have shown courage by facing my fears and getting rid of my old habits from my
