On the 15/03/16 our year 12 agriculture and horticulture class went on a trip to a local dairy goat farm.
This is a 40 hectare farm on sandy loam soil which houses 1100 goats, all goats are kept in door and

milked. These goats are milked on a rotary milk parlour, which is one of two in the country. There

Introduction
The objective of the Naked Egg Lab is to soak the egg in a solution and determine if that solution is
isotonic, hypertonic, or hypotonic in relation to the egg. A solution is a mixture of two or more
substances in which the molecules of the substances are evenly distributed (Miller/Levine 2000). The
substances in a solution are solutes, the substance that is dissolved (Miller/Levine 2000), and solvents,
the substance in which the solute dissolves (Miller/Levine 2000). In this case, the egg will be put in a
salt water solution, where salt is the solute and water is the solvent. This lab is looking for three
different types of solutions; isotonic, hypertonic, and hypotonic. An isotonic solution is when the
concentration of two solutions is the same (Miller/Levine 2000). When a solution has a higher
concentration of solutes than the solution on the other side of the membrane, it is hypertonic.
Hypotonic solutions are the opposite, and have a lesser concentration of solutes than the solution on
the other side of the membrane.

Robert Rowe Interview Analysis
Robert Rowe was born December 27, 1945. He grew up in the small town of Carrollton, IL, along
with his Mom, Dad, Brother, and Sister. Robert was the only member of his family that served. Prior
to serving, Robert graduated high school and went to a trade school. He specialized in drafting and
surveying, which he continued to do during his service and until he retired. Multiple times throughout
our interview Robert became very emotional. He became tied up in the old memories that may not
have surfaced in many years. After boot camp and special training, Robert was sent to California and

At this point in our interview, it took an emotional toll on him. His posture sunk low and his emotions
got the best of him. The last few minutes there s a lot of silence due to me giving him time to collect

Gilbert Bilezikian gives four areas that need to be addressed when administering the church here on
