provide understanding to children opening their minds and after my research, I can say I am in
favor that children learn in early ages humanities and art. In this paper, I will provide both
examples why kids should study them and why not. I will explain how do humanities and art help
them to develop their intelligence and how could not be so beneficially for them as well. Even
though some people say that art classes are a drain on the economy and art educations are
considered a distraction and that art classes do not give children more development in their grades,

According to Army Sustainment Magazine, over the past 10 years sustainment unit training efforts
have focused primarily on building and developing soldiers tactical skills at the cost of their
technical military occupational specialty (MOS) skills. This off balance training focus and
overdependence on contract support has resulted in a battle hardened force of sustainment soldiers,
many of whom lack technical proficiency because they have not been working in their MOSs.
Currently we are facing a resource constrained environment, funding for contracts is being
significantly reduced along with several other resources, and soldiers are once again expected to

situation and vice versa. In an operational environment, regardless of job or individual MOS,

Making mistakes in general, tactical or technical, may have the same catastrophic results. We
must get back to building soldiers up in their technical skills so that they will be proficient in the

During this past week, I was enjoying some relaxation time from my busy and hectic schedule
and watching some Netflix. I was watching an episode of Orange Is The New Black, form
Season 1. The overall summary of the episode that I was watching was that there was an inmate,
Daya, who was pregnant from one of the prison guards who also happens to be her boyfriend. In
a panic of trying to protect the boyfriend/prison guard from being fired once it is figured out that
Daya is pregnant, multiple inmates work together in coming up with a plan trying to help out Daya.
The helpers include Daya s familymembers, people from the same race, and a couple random
women from a different clique. It was a little odd that all these inmates were working together
trying to help out Daya in such an involved and difficult situation. All of these women who are
usually at each other s throats are now working together trying to come up with solutions. In

Intersectionality is defined by social categories, such as race and gender that have interconnected to
apply to individuals and groups, causing an overlap, which has consequently created a system of
discrimination and disadvantages (English Oxford Living Dictionary, 2016).
Kimberle Crenshaw coined the term in her article Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex:
A Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theoryand Anti racist Politics
(1889) whereby her main focus is on the intersection of race and sex. Crenshaw refers to
intersectionality as a crossroad to describe how multiple oppressions are experienced. In her
article she examines intersectionality through how the court interpret black women s stories. She
uses the case DeGrafffenreid V General Motors, whereby five black women (the Plaintiffs)
accused the employers of discriminating against black women, as they lost their jobs after 1970
due to a seniority based layoff during recession. Nevertheless, the judge rejected the plaintiffs
claim, as the court states that they would of helped if it was an action for race or sex, but not a
combination of both (Crenshaw, 1989, p.141). The example Crenshaw gives, identifies how

In our lab, the first trial was wrong. This mistake could have happened due to human error. We
could have switched sodium carbonate with sodium bicarbonate. In future labs, more focus will
be shown. The second and third trials were identical which means the results were valid. There
was a 10.4% error, with the trial 2 and 3 results. This error may also have arisen due to human
error; for example we might have not waited long enough to read the final tempertaure or it was read
