 Trace  the pathway of the manufacture
 and export of a secretory protein. Be sure
 to tell what happens to the protein at
 each step.
1.   DNA in nucleus codes for RNA
2.   RNA leaves the nucleus and meets up
     with a ribosome
3.   Ribosome reads code and produces
     correct polypeptide chain
4.   Polypeptide chain is released into the ER
5.   ER folds protein into native shape and
     wraps it with a vesicle for transport
6.   Transport vesicle sends protein to Golgi
     apparatus where protein is folded into
     final shape
7.   Final vesicle is pinched off and transports
     protein for secretion
