Profile
I have been recognized as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) upon completion of the required exams
and modules in December 2014. I am currently on the pathway to becoming a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
(FSA) via individual life and annuities track.
Currently left with life finance and valuation exam. FSA modules target to be completed this year. I am highly
motivated and willing to put in the extra mile to learn and understand new concepts.

 Started as a Pricing Executive for 2.5 years
 Currently assuming a Senior Executive role in the valuation EEV regional reporting team
 Job responsibilities in EEV reporting team includes :
 Monthly New Business Profit / Value of New Business reporting (NBP / VONB)
 EEV valuation of in force block
 Sensitivity testing
 Budget forecasting

I. Product Pricing
 Support pricing initiatives with due considerations to commercial, financial, risks and help Prudential to
meet business plans and strategic objectives
 Participate in product design, preliminary pricing and finalizing profitable and marketable product
feature
 Assess pricing assumptions, procedures and methodology used
 Generate, analyse and explain the financial metrics
 Assess the risk in the product design and suggest mitigation methods
 Perform product modelling using Prophet and reconciliation of work using excel
 Feasibility assessment, filing to regional and regulators
 Review of sales materials, policy documents and training slides
 Support reinsurance tendering process
 Setting up formula requirements for sales illustration software and administration system
II. Project Management
 Coordinating timeline and deliverables from different department to ensure key milestones are
achieved
 Anticipate foreseeable obstacles in the project and find solutions to solving it
 Handle incoming customer queries
 Handle BNM queries
III. Policy Servicing
 Review current policy servicing processes and identify areas of improvement
 Set up FAQ to handle commonly encountered queries
 Coordinate queries from different departments and set up appropriate responding time to manage their
