in order to determine the effect it had on the growth of bacteria. The bacteria treated with plasmid

Answer: The United States began expanding westward during the 1800s. During the early 1800s,
America turned its attention towards the exploration and settlement of its Western territory. The
amount of land had been greatly increased by the Louisiana Purchase of 1803, which almost
doubled the size of the nation. Later on, the size of the United States increased yet again with the
Mexican Cession and the Gadsden Purchase. From these, the United States gained California,
Nevada, Utah, Texas, and parts of Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. Settlers swept
westward, encouraged by the federal government. The government created the Homestead Act,
which offered 160 acres of cheap land in the West under the condition that the settlers had to work

different rules between pro and college level. The NBA consist of 32 professional teams, but the
college level has 347 division 1 schools that develop players and make them grow into being a
professional athlete. When coming out of high school, you get to choose what school you want
to play for. Most athletes pick the biggest school with the biggest fan base. That way these
players will be noticed and scouted before going pro. The professional level is completely
different because you enter the draft. You don t get to choose where or who you play for after

the two are that in the NBA you can foul six times before fouling out but in the NCAA you get

3D Printing is a unique kind of printing system, which takes a 3D image file and creates a
physical 3D image. As I mentioned before 3D files are generated from what is called a .stl file,

Most of the authors above conclude their findings with references to gender stereotypes. Still
others, represented in this review by Hayes and Samartseva, focus on and detail the way
stereotypes affect gender communication. Hayes states that stereotypes are the single most cause
of misunderstandings between the genders in the work place, especially larger organizations
where the work force doesn t have a chance to develop closer relationships (2004). Hayes argues
that when people are placed in a confrontation with an unknown person, or when that person s
mood and attitude is an unknown factor, people fall back subconsciously to their stereotyped

The Vietnam conflict was a ruthless and long war that had serious consequences for everyone
involved and would prove to be a shameful and infamous snapshot of American foreign policy at
work. This paper will highlight the geo political relationship of the United States and South
Vietnam, focusing on events taking place after the Geneva accords of 1954, in the attempts to
insure a non communist Vietnam.
The United States refused to sign the Geneva accords (because the U.S. refused any possibility of
communist control over Vietnam), but elections were to be held in 1956 to decide the ruling
government by popular vote. The U.S. government created SEATO (Southeast Asia Treaty
Organization), a regional alliance that swore to protect South Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos in the

direct involvement of U.S. troops in Vietnam. In 1955, the U.S. picked Ngo Dinh Diemto replace

The project aim was to propose the adaptation of a humidification device to offer comfort to
patients who are on high flow oxygen therapy; and to provide in service trainings to clinical staff.
