Enhancing Effectiveness through Enterprise Education
As higher educators, ‘we are trying to tackle the ‘wicked’ problem of preparing students for jobs that don’t yet exist, using technologies that have not yet been invented, in order to solve problems we don’t know are problems yet’ (Jackson 2008).
To face this challenge, we need our students and graduates to be enterprising: able to spot and respond to opportunities by having ideas, and the skills and confidence to do something about them. Enterprise education develops your students’ capability to succeed in being enquiring, deep learners, and contributes to making them successful graduates, equipped to face the challenges of their future careers.
In this workshop, delivered at the University of St Andrew's by Dr Gary C Wood, Enterprise Education Developer and Head of Sheffield Engineering Leadership Academy, University of Sheffield, delegates explored the value of providing enterprising learning experiences for their students, and discussed and share some approaches to help do this successfully.

Creative Partnerships Lithuania 2013 year
The Creative Partnerships project aims to foster creativity in Lithuanian schools through collaboration between schools, creative professionals, and regional partners. Over three school years, the project involved about 200 creators, more than 100 schools, 1000 teachers, and 4000 students. The project creates a space for teachers and students to explore new approaches to learning, with a focus on developing creativity, creative skills, and a creative mindset. Through activities led by creative professionals, the goal is for creativity to become an everyday practice in schools.

Teacher Education for Inclusion project
This Agency project set out to examine the essential skills, knowledge and understanding, attitudes and values needed by everyone entering the teaching profession. The presentation compiled the recommendations from the project whose main question was: How are all teachers prepared via their initial education to be inclusive?
The Profile of Inclusive Teachers is an outcome of this project. This presentation briefly describes the four core values relating for teaching and learning, as well as main areas of teacher competence.

Since 2014, Nossal High School has run a program of Digital Delivery Days where students are asked to remain at home and classes are delivered entirely via Blackboard for duration of the day. This year we have focused on the use of Collaborate Ultra for working with our students through their course areas on Blackboard. We have also been investigating solutions for encouraging classrooms to default to team-based learning activities, away from centralised AV (projectors and whiteboards) and believe Blackboard Collaborate Ultra may be able to provide us with a feasible alternative.
This presentation will report on the effectiveness of using Collaborate Ultra within our Digital Delivery setting and also on the early stages of replacing centralised AV within our classrooms.

- 2. Our Mission • To develop whole school approaches to creative learning • To collaborate with the Creative Tallis Action Research Group • To promote creative learning at SSC and SLT • To capture evidence of good practice in creative learning

- 4. Assessment models • Eton Saturday Schools • Islington Arts & Media School 'I AM Creative' project • Discussions with Creative Tallis ARG • APP for Creative Learning
- 5. APP for Creative Learning • Four Assessment Foci • Reflecting PLTS • Recognition of the importance of domain specific knowledge • Re-written in student friendly language • Peer edited by colleagues in and outside school, our School of Creativity advisor and creative agents

Impact • Close collaboration between SSC and ARG • Students engaged in discussions about pedagogy • New APP framework developed with potential to impact learning across the curriculum • Influencing best practice in other schools • Limited trials with Tallis Lab and proposed assessment framework for Olympic Days
- 8. Next Steps • Trial use of APP in a variety of contexts • Evaluate feedback from staff and students • Refine APP and publish to whole staff Recommendation APP for Creative Learning is used across the curriculum to support PLTS next year by the whole school beginning in the Spring Term
