Meetings can be beneficial if they are organized correctly. A meeting needs to have a purpose. An
agenda should be created so that everyone in attendance knows what to expect. The individual
who is in charge of planning the meeting has a very important job when it comes to preparing an
actionable meeting. Tasks need to be assigned as well as deadlines for those tasks to ensure
everything that needs to get done will get done.
Unorganized Meeting I have attended a poorly organized meeting. The staff is left to wonder what
needs to be done and why did we meet here in the first place. Although we talk about things that
are being done in the office and things that have yet to be done, those tasks are just thrown out
there. The coordinator to the meeting does not have a list of individuals whom they think would be
good for the task, or either loosely asks for volunteers who may or may not volunteer during that
session. If an individual does volunteer to complete a task we are not notified, and if no one
volunteers I feel we are working it creating a duplication of effort. This session was highly
unorganized.
Four Steps to Overcome Ineffectiveness Next, I will discuss four steps mentioned in the textbook
that are utilized to overcome the ineffectiveness of meetings. These steps are assigning specific
tasks to specific people, review all actions and responsibilities at the end of the meeting, provide

A. Specific project being Proposed One major issue with our educational system is that it takes
an all or nothing approach after a student completes the standard 12 years of education. A student
foes to college or they join the workforce without any actual job skills. This system worked in the
past because of the abundance of industrial or manufacturing jobs that paid a decent wage and
offered long term job security. These jobs are disappearing as we transform from an industrial
economy into a more technological and services oriented one. The gap between skilled and
unskilled workers is widened and the middle class shrinking. I propose a job training/ apprentice
program. Under this program business would get a tax credit that would cover 50% of the wages
for the individuals hired. The tax credit would be applied over a specific duration of the
apprenticeship ranging anywhere from 1 5 years depending on their level of production. I plan to
look at the cost of other similar programs that exist in several states and try to calculate a national
average. To calculates benefits the report will assess the total social costsand benefits of the
apprentice program. The will include the perspective of all stakeholders involved, specifically the
role of the apprentice, sponsors and employers, government agencies and society. each stakeholder:

The Use Of Personification In Daffodils By William Wordsworth
The poem Daffodils by William Wordsworth was written in 1804. It is about a time when
Wordsworth himself went walking and found a group of daffodils. Through the use of similes,
personification and alliteration, Wordsworth shows how his emotions changed after seeing the
beautiful daffodils.
Wordsworth starts of the poem in a sad and depressed mood. He is not happy as he is walking
alone without any purpose. Nothing around him seems beautiful to him, and he seems lonely and

Wordsworth is happy as he has seen the daffodils and he is amazed by their beauty. Suddenly he
is no longer alone as he feels happy with the presence of these golden flowers. To show his emotion
change, Wordsworth uses personification. This is shown in the third line where he writes, When
all at once I saws a crowd, a host of golden daffodils. Wordsworth is personifying the daffodils by
saying that they are standing in a crowd like an army. This is a description appropriate for
humans, but flowers to not stand in crowds. By using personification, Wordsworth shows that there
a lot of daffodils that are standing together like an army full of soldiers. This also shows that they
are standing very noticeable and catch the attention of Wordsworth. Personification is used further
in the poem to show how Wordsworth is now using happy words to describe the daffodils. In the
6th line he writes, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze . This is not only an use of personification,
but also of assonance and internal rhyme. These literary devices emphasize that the flowers like
