The circulatory system comprises of the heart, blood vessels, and blood. The heart pumps blood through arteries into the body and receives it back through veins. There are three types of blood vessels: arteries, veins, and capillaries. Blood contains red blood cells, white blood cells, and plasma, which is 90% water and carries substances like carbon dioxide, amino acids, glucose, antibodies, hormones, and urea throughout the body to supply oxygen and nutrients to organs and tissues.
