This document presents the design of a chop meat machine. It contains two chapters that describe the components and manufacturing of the machine. The key components are an armor blade, two step crank, linear bed, electric motors, bearings, chassis, table, and meat collection part. The armor blade, crank, and collection part would be manufactured through processes like casting, machining, and pressing. Other components like motors and bearings would be purchased from other companies. The document proposes a product layout for manufacturing the chop meat machine.

Usefulness and performance of the existing radial drilling machine will be increased by designing and development of multispindle drilling head attachment. This paper deals with such development undertaken for similar job under consideration along with industrial case study. The fixture is a collection of working holdings
that holds, supports, and locates the workpiece.
Depending on their application, the fixture is needed in
different industries. The locating pin is used to restrict
the panel's degree of freedom. The panel will affect the
loading and unloading of the panel due to a fixed
position pin, so we have to configure the shift tool to
change the positioning pin during loading and unloading
of the panel. In this project we will create a CAD model
with a jig and welding fixture. The change unit or the
position unit will be designed as compact as possible,
depending on the need for the jig and the welding
fixture. This project is designed to move the positioning
pin between the locating pin and the panel to avoid
interference during loading and unloading.

Low power architecture of logic gates using adiabatic techniquesnooriasukmaningtyas
The growing significance of portable systems to limit power consumption in ultra-large-scale-integration chips of very high density, has recently led to rapid and inventive progresses in low-power design. The most effective technique is adiabatic logic circuit design in energy-efficient hardware. This paper presents two adiabatic approaches for the design of low power circuits, modified positive feedback adiabatic logic (modified PFAL) and the other is direct current diode based positive feedback adiabatic logic (DC-DB PFAL). Logic gates are the preliminary components in any digital circuit design. By improving the performance of basic gates, one can improvise the whole system performance. In this paper proposed circuit design of the low power architecture of OR/NOR, AND/NAND, and XOR/XNOR gates are presented using the said approaches and their results are analyzed for powerdissipation, delay, power-delay-product and rise time and compared with the other adiabatic techniques along with the conventional complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) designs reported in the literature. It has been found that the designs with DC-DB PFAL technique outperform with the percentage improvement of 65% for NOR gate and 7% for NAND gate and 34% for XNOR gate over the modified PFAL techniques at 10 MHz respectively.

3. INTRODUCTION
Humans have hunted and killed animals for meat since prehistoric times.We
have eaten meat for years to get protein. Meat is prepared in many ways, as steaks, in
stews, chopping meat etc..
In our country there are so many types of foods which has consist of meat.In
this century chopping meat is generally done by machines.
Our previous country OTTOMAN EMPIRE is famous with its foods which has
consist of meat.And the Chefs who lived in Ottoman Empire were chopping up the
meats with armor blade.(zırh bıçağı) It is directly translated from Turkish to
English.The Chefs who lived in the Empire’s Palace said that if you use armor blade to
chopping up the meat, it will be very delicious.

1.1 BRIEF DEFINITION ABOUT OUR PRODUCT
Our product is designed based on the Chef’s words.They say that if you use
armor blade to chopping up the meat, it will be very delicious.In the figure 1 there is a
man who chopping up the meats by using armor blade.As it seen that this is not
hygienic.So that we want to produce a machine which can be chopping up the meat by
yourself not man powered by electric powered machine.And we design chopping meat
machine.
Our product is new machine.We didn’t improve any machine which is already
exist.We have found and design new type of machine. İf you ask what can I do with
this machine and where can I use this machine, its answer is ; We can use our machine
for cutting meat and we can prepare some foods with our machine.

5. Design of our machine is based on this Picture as shown in figure 2.In thıs
roject, there are mans who cut the meat with their hand power. We want to improve
this idea, in our roject

1.2 POTENTIAL IN THE MARKET
In our culture meat is important food,so that there are a lot of butchers in the

every street of our cities.
Our plan is selling this product for all butchers.We can sell the product for
butchers.
Our another plan is selling this product for some restaurant, and otels because
hotels have kitchen where they can chopping up the meat.
6. 1.3 ADVANTAGES OF OUR PRODUCT
İf you want sell your product in Pazar,your product must have some advantages

from other product.
There are so many types of chopping up machine are exist as said in the
introduction part of our report.For example when we investigate the products , their
working princible are based on ,there is a motor and motor rotates the shaft and due to
the turning of the shaft meat are going into the bed and they will chopping up with the
using of turning blades.As it seen in the figure (3) it Works with the man power and in
the figure (4) chopping up machine with electric motor.

Delicious food can be cooked by using our product.
Meat which is chopping up by our machine can not be like dough.
We can maintain the tradition of Ottoman Empire’s Chef’s when using
the our machines.
7. 1.4 COMPONENTS OF OUR PRODUCT
CAD modelling of our product is shown in figure (5).The mechanism of our
product is not complex.It is basically consist of some important parts.
Basically some parts will be defined about which type of production method is
using and how we can produce this product.

2.1 MANUFACTURING METHODS OF COMPONENTS

2.1.1 ARMOR BLADE
Material of knife must be stainless steel to resist the corrosion.Because armor
blades are used to chopping up the meats and so that knives must have resistance to
corrosion.It can be consist of %5 carbon content.Generally %5 carbon steels are used
in manufacturing knives.When manufacturing the armor blade heat treatment must be
applied to provide necessary hardness value.

Hot steel material comes to mold and then pressing operation will be applied to
produce.
As it seen in the figure(6) our armor blade has two holders.They don’t have to
produced when the applying pressing operation.After pressing the shape of armor
blade , the holders can be drilled and jointed by stainless steel bolds.

2.1.2 TWO STEP CRANK
This is the most important part in our product.It is used to convert the motion
rotational to linear.Crank is designed as two step.Because there are two arms provides
the armor blades motion and these arms are not be in touch with each other.
This part can be produced by using sand casting method and then it can be
machined by CNC machine. That is not necessary to give information how to mold
this part.It is already known that from our previous lecture of process 2.
The cost of our product was considered and we have decided to buy this
component from another company as a raw material.Then machining operation can be
done in our factory with CNC machine.

2.1.3LINEAR BED
That is the another part which our product has.The importance of this part is that the
table of our product can be move on it from backward to forward.Moving the upward chasis is
important for us.Because when we move the upward chasis armor blade can also move with
it, and this motion gives us good chopping up the meat from every point on it.

We have 2 linear bed on the each side of our product.On the linear bed the
upward chasis of our product will move easily.

2.1.4 ELECTRIC MOTORS
2 electric motor must be assembled to on our product.One is used for moving
the crank and so moving the armor blade upward and downward.And the other one is
used to control the table mechanism.
We don’t have to produce this products.We can buy them from another factory
which sells electric motor.There are so many motor factory which they have good
product.Only we say that required motor power to them and we can order the
product.So that manufacturing steps of electric motors are not necessary to explain.
2.1.5 BEARINGS
Three bearings must be assembled to on our product.The two of these bearings
are used on the crank and motor mechanism.They are used to fix the crank on the
motor shaft.And the another bearing is used to downward motor to fix the pulley to the
chasis.
Again we don’t have to produce this products.There exist products of bearing
which the big bearing companies are selling.Only we can order from them.Of course
the bearing loads must be evaluated and the best selection of bearing must be
done.Otherwise our machine will be failure.
2.1.6 CHASIS
Another important part is chasis.All operation will be done on it like chopping
up meats.This part will carry all components of our product so that steel profile is used
to produce this part.Simply if we need to tell ,Steel profiles come to our factory and
they will be cutting to desired size and then welding operators can weld the parts each
other.And finally it will paint to resist to corrosion.As it seen that in the figure (9)

2.1.7 TABLE
Another important part of our product is the table.It is important because all
operation performed on it.The material of table is another important consideration
during the design research.There can be choices for selecting the material of table like
polyethyle or wood.In our product we select wood as a material of table.Because it is
cheap and we can buy it from another company.Also we don’t have to produce this
part.We can order from the wood companies.They can buy us the ordered and desired
size of their product.

Our table have to holders.They must be on the table and the holders must have
the screw threads.The downward motor drives this tablet o move forward and
backward.The motor rotates the belt and belt is fixed to a long screw and when screw
is turning table is going forward or vice versa.
2.1.8 MEAT COLLECTION PART
Another important part is meat collection part.As understood on the name of
our part, it collects the meat on the center of the table.Two meat collection part is
necessary on the double side of the table.They will contact with the meat so that their
material must be stainless steel to resist to corrosion and health requirement.
12. We can produce this parts by using pressing operations.Sheet metals are coming
under the pres and then required power is evaluated to form the sheet as desired.It is
not necessary to explain the how to press is doing or forming.We have already
knowledge about this processing methods from the previous lectures.
We have need two meat collection part.One is for right hand side of table and
the other for another side of the table.And They must be fixed to chasis to prevent
meat escape.

2.2 LAYOUT PLANNING
We have designed a product and then if we want to produce our product we can
build a factory.And to do this we must be consider some points.What type of layout
can we use for manufacturing this product.Simply we prefer product type of layout
which we have already known that from previous lectures.

13. 2.3 MECHANISM OF OUR PRODUCT (HOW IT IS WORK)
There is a motor at the upward chasis as it seen on the side view as it is blue
one.When this motor is working ,it rotates the crank and crank converts its rotating
motion to linear motion with the arms. This linear motion provides that knife goes to
upward and downward. Crank is designed as two step.Because there are two arms
and these arms can not be in touch each other.

14. There is an another motor at the downward of the chasis.It drives the pulley and
there is a screw attached to pulley.When motor is working screw is rotating.Due to this
, table moves forward and backward.Two motor is working simultaneously.
There two sheet metal which also called as meat collector.They are provide to

collecting meat at the center of table.

15. CONCLUSION
Through this Project We have already learned that designing something is very
hard business.Being an engineer is also very hard business.There are so many
parameters which have to be considered when designing something.Another point is
manufacturability of our designing.
Idea is the most important thing when designing something.Products have been
designed from centuries only the purpose of simplifiyng the human life.We must
observe our environment to find good ideas.
When idea is ok.Another points are comes from then.Modelling of product ,
analyzing of product, material selection of product etc.. so many parameters are going
into each other.
This Project were very useful to us.We have learned so many things and revise

our backward knowledge.
In our future life maybe ,one day ,we will design a kind of product.And this
lesson comes our mind…
