This skill can be developed by observing people's facial expressions, body language, and conversations to understand their feelings and emotions. As people mature, they must learn to manage their emotions appropriately and solve problems effectively rather than overreacting or feeling emotionally troubled. Chennais Amirta conducts soft skill classes to help students develop these abilities to handle situations better.

1. Chennais Amirta : Learning Good Behaviour
Following instructions, not disturbing others, showing respect, being quiet, etc, these
are some of the great rules of our classrooms, but students have to understand that
these rules have got little to do with teaching social skills.
Students must develop the ability to understand the social situation; it will help you
avoid trouble and teach you to get along with others. If you see a bunch of students
who usually tease and bully others, the ability of understanding the social situation
will help you stay away from that group.
You can develop this skill by observing and analysing the people’s facial expression,
body language, their conversation, etc. By doing this you can understand their
feelings and emotions (angry, bored, frustrated).
People have to learn how to manage their emotions appropriately as they mature.
Instead of being emotionally depressed or overreacting to the situation, try to
manage your emotions. It is important to maintain your self-respect and change your
ineffective behaviour.

2. As you grow, you have to upgrade your problem-solving techniques. Instead of
feeling emotionally troubled, concentrate on how to solve problems and come up
with solutions. If you’re so confused and facing challenges solving the problem, talk
to someone who is trustworthy and understanding. Discuss with them the situation
and take actions according to the guideline given by them.
