Zoonotic Diseases Research Paper
Zoonotic diseases is a serious and major concern to human health. What is a zoonosis? Zoonoses are
diseases that are caused by pathogens that can infect different animals that has the ability to pass to
humans. Zoonotic pathogens also destroy biodiversity in fragile wildlife. They cause many effects to
humans in many different ways. Zoonosis are very important to study because scientists await a
challenge on developing vaccines on a developing cure on human aids. Zoontic diseases are dangerous
because it can spread by mosquitos, and ticks. Zoonotic Diseases can be cause by many things like
viruses, and bacteria. CDC and prevention stated that scientists appraised that more than 6 out of
every 10 infectious diseases in humans are spread ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Zoonoses shows more existence in places where there are rates of poverty. Many people that reside in
poor rural areas are more likely to eat infected meat because it is cheaper than organic meat. People
that live in places of poverty are more likely to acquire a zoonotic disease because the people are at a
high risk to be apt and to be exposed to zoonotic diseases and infections. Zoonotic diseases are
difficult to get rid of because people who live in poverty stricken areas have less of a chance to afford
to get approbate care to the disease that they receive. Infonet biovision states that there are many
reasons that zoonotic diseases are more common in places of poverty because of unkept or below par
sanitary conditions. Poor sanitary conditions in poverty stricken areas receive more of a chance of
getting a zoonotic disease because the area shows an absence of currency to build well built and
reliable sanitary units. Until the sanitary conditions are upgraded people that live in these areas have
the same or more of a chance of getting these diseases. Another reason as to why people that are living
in poverty are more likely to receive a zoonotic disease is due to the lack of good veterinarian s and
public health services because of the scarcity of veterinary services makes the situation in poverty
stricken areas for the individuals that can not afford the appropriate service that the animals needs.
Many of theses zoonotic diseases in these poor areas result in a crippling disease to the individual.
People who are infected with the disease will not work as well or as efficient as the healthy co worker
resulting the person with the infection to not receive the money that they need to buy organic and
heathy foods, medicines, bills, taxes, proper schooling,

Examples Of Hasty Generalization
I. Pick three of these fallacies and write an example of each one. 1. Hasty Generalization: I ve met two
individuals in Viet Nam in this way, and they were both pleasant to me. Thus, all individuals I will
meet in Viet Nam will be decent to me. In any Hasty Generalization the key blunder is to overestimate
the quality of a contention that depends on too little a specimen for the suggested certainty level or
mistake edge. In this contention about Viet Nam, utilizing all in the conclusion suggests zero blunder
edge. With zero blunder edge you d have to test each and every individual in Viet Nam, not only two
individuals. 2. Post hoc ergo propter hoc: I ate in that Vietnamese restaurant three days prior and now I

unrealistic. The story begins from our muggle world and the reader gradually gets acquainted with this

Organizational Culture And Its Impact On Business Success...
Organisational Culture and its Impact on Business Success and Employee Performance
Organisational or corporate culture is a broad concept. In the recent past this concept is widely studied
and researched. One study, reference cited in Tsai (2011), refers Organizational culture to the values
and norms that have existed in a company for many years, and to the beliefs of the people and the
perceived value of their work that will dominate their mindsets and behavior. It is reasonable to
assume that organizational culture has a significant impact over an organisation s different force.
Organisational culture is an important driver of the success of a business. It is a philosophy that can
lead a company s policy towards people and clients. This essay begins mainly focusing with
organisational culture, its elements and importance and how it is formed, then it will find out about
organisational structure which can be a platform of organisational cultures to form and lastly it will
briefly discuss the view of power in this substance and the impact of employee s performance.
Organisational culture:
Organisational culture consists of the standards and inferential practices with an organization. In this
modern business era, businesses are too concerned about the competitions and therefore every well
known company wants to keep a well structured, well maintained organisational practice.
Organisational culture has been defined differently as days past. The most frequently used

English Language Instruction:
The Nepali Educational System
Kelsey Wolff
Linguistics 371: World Englishes
Felicia Jean Steele
March 23, 2015
The necessity for a global language has always existed to break down the barriers between nations and
for communication to create a sense of a global community. English is quickly filling that niche, and
instruction in English as a second language is expanding worldwide to places such as Nepal. Nepal is
a land locked country located in Southern Asia bordered by China in the north and India in the south,
east, and west with varying geographical areas, from high mountains to low lying plains (Weinberg,
61). The implementation of the instruction of English ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although there have been some educational policies passed to enforce the study of English, the
establishment of English as a second language in Nepal has been limited due to resource shortages,
poor training of teachers, and the prevalence of varying local mother languages, which makes
instruction in English difficult. Additionally, English has created a rift between the social classes as
good English language education is usually only available to those students who come from an
influential family. For these reasons, as opposed to being treated as a second language, English is still
treated as foreign language in Nepal.
The country of Nepal is home to approximately twenty seven million people, with ninety two different
identified languages spread across the numerous ethnic groups. About eighty seven percent of the
country s population speak one of the five major languages: Nepali, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Tharu, and
Tamang (Weinberg, 62). However, Nepali is spoken as a primary language by about half of the total
population. Out of the ninety two identified languages, fifty nine each have less than ten thousand
speakers (Bista, 2). The total population speaking these fifty nine languages is about point five
percent, with the majority of these non dominant languages in danger of becoming extinct because of
the declining population of speakers (Ghimire, 1). Additionally, the language of Nepali is used in legal

Even mothers whose daughters have been killed in the name of honor often condone such violent
acts.. In addition, communal acceptance of honor killings furthers the claim that violence in the name
of honor is a private issue and one to be avoided by law enforcement. Community acceptance of these
killings stifles accurate reporting of the number of violent crimes against women in the name of honor.
As a result, the true extent of the prevalence of honor killings is still not fully known
The murder of women in the name of honor is a gender specific form of discrimination and violence.
In societies where so called honor killings are allowed to occur, governments are failing in their
responsibility to protect and ensure women their human rights. Honor killings should be regarded as
part of a larger spectrum of violence against women, as well as a serious human rights violation.
Amnesty International calls on you to help bring an end to honor killings, and to demand that
governments take steps to ensure that women and men enjoy equal treatment under law.
History of Honor Killing

An Epic Hero in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a Poem...
Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a poem by the Pearl Poet, sends an epic hero on a journey to
discover his flaw. In his journey of figuring out his flaw, Sir Gawain encounters a Green Knight that
holds a holly and axe in his hands. On a Christmas dinner, the Green knight rides into King Arthur s
hall proposing a game. Any knight willing to cut off the his head is able to keep the axe, but only if he
agrees to let the Green Knight return the blow at a later time. The Green knight was described as one
who was plantlike and had a giant body structure, leading to the assumption that he was a certain type
of vegetation god. The knight also held a holly in one hand and an axe in another, possibly
representing the necessity of plants to die in the cooler climates in order for them to grow again when
it summer returns. The Green Knight, playing an important role for plant life and crops, is still a
mysterious character. His odd characteristics with his supernatural powers make it evident that the
Green Knight has some connection with crops and vegetation. The Green Knight s physical features
are clearly described in the story. He was described to have green skin and a huge build: greater than
any on earth; from neck to loin so strong and thickly made, and with limbs so long and so great that he
seemed even as a giant... For he was clad all in green This indicates that the knight s sturdy build and
green color is like that of a healthy plant. The knight s long limbs

The first day of school is the most important day of the school year (Wong, 2009) . It is the day where
classroom rules and procedures are set in place and the students know what is expected from them. An
effective teacher will dedicate time in creating a classroom management plan in order to help maintain
appropriate behaviors of the students in the classroom. When classrooms aren t managed, they become

The truth is that adolescents, despite occasional or numerous protests, need adults and want them to be
part of their lives, recognizing that they can nurture, teach, guide, and protect them on the journey to
adulthood (Association, 2002) .
Since adolescence in the fifth grade are developing their social and emotional skills, it is imperative to
use teaching strategies that promote healthy communications between students, and teachers.
Techniques that are easy to integrate into your everyday interactions with students that support the
discipline plan are: communicating positive expectations, correcting students in a positive way,
developing classroom pride, demonstrating caring, and preventing and reducing your own frustration
and stress (Boynton, 2005) . By following the mentioned techniques, I can envision a classroom that
will be self controlled, where students can take pride in knowing that they contributed to the success
of their education. Self control levels the playing field, and puts the keys to achievement in students
hands (Nathan DeWall, 2014) .

Anne Frank, Nelson Mandela And Louis Zamperini
After reading many stories about people being incarcerated by their environments, you would think
they would just accept it or give up. Shockingly in many of the stories I ve read the exact opposite
happens and they fight through these tough situations and always manage to stay positive no matter
what is thrown at them. Anne Frank, Nelson Mandela and Louis Zamperini are perfect examples of
people who were physically and emotionally incarcerated and they never let it bring them down.
Instead, they used their incarceration as motivation to better the situation they were in.
Reading many of the poems in class really gives you a sense of how a person is feeling in such little
words. It describes the environment around them, how they are dealing with is and what their thoughts
are on it. A poem I feel does incredibly well with this this Some Advice to Those Who Will Serve
Time in Prison . This poem describes a man in prison with a lot of time to serve and how he feels
about it. He describes prison as making him start to lose himself and how much it really affects his
outlook on life. Prison makes him feel powerless and like he has no control of his life because he can t
make decisions for himself anymore. He can t control when he eats, showers or even when he wakes
up in the morning, basically the only thing he can control is how he deals with this new way of life.

Analyzing Wallace s Theory Of Natural Selection
Wallace and his line
Charles Darwin has credit with the theory of natural selection in the history books, however there was
another person Alfred Russell Wallace who came to the same conclusion. He was of plebian descent
and had no reservations about going against the doctrines of the Church of England. He, like Darwin,
had similar questions about species variation, diversity, and fitness; he decided to seek out the answers
in his travels. Wallace s theory of evolution came from his experiences and observations in the
unexplored islands of the Malay Archipelago specifically Borneo, Bali, Lombok, and New Guinea and
Australia. Although Wallace s journey began in Singapore, Borneo became the stepladder to defining
his first law. He combines geology and natural history to hypothesize that species connect in space and
time to a closely allied predecessor. Further explaining that these connections are dendritic with extant
species outermost and with extinct closely allied species innermost. Whenever branching occurs, new
species form from the common branch or closely allied species. He simply argues that if the earth
chang es, why species wouldn t do the same. Wallace replies that islands, including Darwin s account

of Bali, has identical geologic and environmental conditions, however the species are completely

all species similar to Lombok and not Bali. He states that there is a boundary act ing between these

The messages of the songs are often overlooked because of the images the artists portray on society.

The two songs opened my eyes to how people who are different feel, and how they can be beautiful in

Visual Art Plan By Otto Dix And James Gleeson
Visual art Plan
Artists all around the world have used metaphor in their pieces of work to convey meaning. A figure
of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally
applicable. Most if not all pieces of art you can see in a museum or out on the street have remanets of
metaphor beneath them. Artists use metaphor in their work to tell a story or a time period or in this
case meaning. As the old saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words. The artist distorts the image
to the way he or she wants to see it or would want others to see it. For example, Otto Dix and James
Gleeson are artists that are known for having and using metaphor and spirituality in their pieces of
work. Otto Dix has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Otto Dix was a great artist. His paintings were very strong with spirituality and metaphor this was
because he served in the first world war. Many of his paintings were of the first wold war because Dix
volunteered and became a machine gunner which exposed him to see death daily. Through his
experiences in the war he gained a lot of knowledge and saw a lot of things. One of his pieces stood
out to me the most. That piece was the wounded soldier. In this picture I can see a muddy ground with
blood splattered everywhere. The ground and the soldier almost looks like he is decaying. The soldiers
face has an expression of confusion and elements of fear across him. Given his mouth is wide open it
looks like he is in enormous amounts of pain and looks like he is screaming. This could be the face of
a person going through their last seconds before they die or get shot. His hand is squeezing his heart
like he got shot in the area. His helmet seems to be dirty and bloody as almost like he has been here
for a long time.
The work has been put together very well according to the elements and principles of art. The lines in
the art work are very bold and revealing. The lines are clearly outlining the wounded soldier and what
is movements and actions are at the current time of him being painted. The colour of this art work is in
black and white but even though it is in black and white Dix has done a good job of telling us what

Economic Growth And Development Of Latin America Through...
Economic Growth and development of Latin America Through Socialism.
South America is turning to the left this much is widely known. It is due to the socialist ideas and
values that are very old in the Latin American culture. They can be found, according to Hugo Chávez,
in biblical texts, in the Gospel, and in the practices of our indigenous peoples. The Bolivarian
Revolution that started in Venezuela under the presidency of Hugo Chávez has reignited debate in
Latin America and internationally on the questions of socialism and revolution introducing the
reflections on class struggle, neoliberalism, counter power, revolutionary parties, community and
communes, economy, politics, society, race and the hopes, and prospects of what is called Socialism
21st Century in contemporary South America.
Neoliberalism is the deregulation and expansion of the market economy, it includes eliminating
barriers to trade such as tariffs and government subsidies of national industry, and implementing
national policies that favor the needs of business and investment ( Is Capitalism a good ). This in turn
causes a loss in state revenue, which means a loss in the amount of funding available for social
welfare programs. Neoliberalism became dominant in Latin America, especially in the 1990s, because
of the debt crisis, the availability of highly educated technocrats, a new middle class of entrepreneurs,
the failure of import substitution industrialization, and public support. Most Latin American

5.1 Basic Energy Saving Tips LOWER THE SET POINT ON YOUR THERMOSTAT IN WINTER
Reducing your set point by 1˚ for an entire winter can yield a 3% savings in energy used to heat your

The best thing to remember with fans is that they cool people, they do not cool rooms. The air
movement that fans create pulls heat and moisture off of us and gives us a cooling sensation. They do
not decrease room temperatures.
So please be sure to leave fans off when not in the room. In most cases, it is also not recommended to
leave the fan running on your furnace or air conditioner.
LOWER THE SET POINT ON YOUR WATER HEATER
If you never run out of hot water, you can probably turn the set point of your water heater down. The
turn dials are typically located under the top and bottom faceplates. Use a screwdriver to remove the
faceplate and turn it down 5 10˚. We do not recommend setting your temperature below 120˚F due to
bacterial growth. Also, have the scale removed from your water heater every couple of years.
2.2 Water Efficiency Tips Water use is becoming an increasingly important issue. Energy is used to
extract the water from the ground, treat it, pump it to your home, and heat it in your hot water tank.
Energy is also consumed to pump, treat and discharge the water once it leaves your home. The

What Is The Literary Analysis Of Once Upon A Time
Literary Analysis
Once upon a time, there were two women. Both were beautiful, but one was weak, the other was a
warrior. In ABC s Once Upon a Time, Rapunzel has isolated herself in a tower as a method to escape
responsibility, eventually being found by Prince David. Although she was screaming out to get his
attention, she then expresses that she does not want to leave the tower. In Rupert Sanders Snow White
and the Huntsman, the character of Snow White commanded her own army to defeat the evil queen,
who sought to kill her. She fights not with her looks, but with her strength both mental and physical.
The character of Snow White was portrayed as dauntless in the modern day movie directed by Rupert
Sanders, Snow White and the Huntsman, but the depiction of Rapunzel in another fairy tale film
remake, ABC s Once Upon a Time, was incompetent and dependant.
In Once Upon a Time, Rapunzel is scared. She is stuck with the memory of her brother, who drowned

Construction Of Masculinity
The theme of the construction of masculinity is seen in different ways in the Amongst Women, in
Quiet Man and in the Guests of the Nation by Frank O Connor. In each case, the issue of masculinity
is explored from different aspects, such as through the relationship between father and son, the
intimate relationship between men and women and through the comradeship. To start with, Amongst
Women, the theme of masculinity is reflected by the father of the family Moran and his children, and
especially with his son, Luke, and Michael. In Quiet Man, the matter of masculinity is established
through the relationship between men and women and especially in the film by the marriage of
Thornton and his wife Mary Kate but also through the public and the

In order to intrigue your readers, you must first know who you are trying to connect with and how.
Halasek talks about the six different types of audiences that could possibly be the focus of any paper.
The six types of audiences are: public, projected, textual, previous, immediate, and evaluative. A
public audience is there to help students get their ideas out into the public to help express their
message. Projected audience gives the writer a direction to head in when writing a paper. This allows
them to conduct their content and put it in order so that it best reaches their targeted audience. This
allows the writer to get constructive feedback on the direction he is heading with his work. Textual
audience is the complex part of writing, making sure that it all flows together seemingly. Previous
audience, is where they write towards an audience they already know, in hopes to figure out the
mistakes towards the new audience. Lastly, evaluative audience, is the final piece of the puzzle before

Epistemology of Conspiracy Theories: Section 1
TSCADS: Above the Conspiracy Theory Label
There exists a hierarchy of knowing in societies, with elites who know more than the common people.
Some argue that social cohesion and order depends on the maintenance of noble lies. This prompts the
question of whether democratic forms of government can coexist with secrecy, or whether there is a
fundamental confliction. The secrecy demanded by the government seems to have led to the
prospering of conspiracy theories and state crimes against democracy (SCAD). This essay investigates
the definitions of a conspiracy theory compared to a SCAD through legal scholars such as Cass Robert
Sunstein and Lance deHaven Smith, and coins ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

A Twisted Hero Definition
A twisted hero is someone who demonstrates great leadership skills, manipulation tactics, and can lead
a group of people to success, but does it in a warped or unethical manner. This is because someone
who is twisted is, by definition, warped or has an unhealthy way of thinking. However, a hero is
defined as a person who is admired or idealized for their courage, noble qualities, and outstanding
achievements. They are perceived as mighty protectors and great leaders who can do amazing acts.
They can bring success and wealth to people, and lead them towards prosperity. When these terms,
twisted and hero, are combined, it gives us the base definition of a twisted hero. There are two
categories that define a hero, which are traditional heroes and twisted heroes. A traditional hero and
twisted hero are seen as the same by some people, but when compared to a traditional hero, a twisted
hero has few similarities and many differences. Most traditional heroes are the good guys; they fight
for and protect what is right. In comparison, a twisted hero fights for what he or she thinks is right,
and disregards the safety or feelings of others. Traditional heroes are also often revered for their
courage, achievements, and noble qualities. They are looked up to by others and can be idolized or
admired by the greater public. In the case of a twisted hero, they are looked up to but not for the same
reasons. Twisted heroes are looked up to out of fear and because their power demands it,

How Is George Patton Successful
General George Smith Patton {Good} Old Blood and Guts
The great General George Smith Patton said that A good solution applied with vigor now is better than
a perfect solution applied ten minutes later. Patton was a great leader and an even better strategist;
although, he was a ruthless man who had a love for war and death. While General George Patton s
childhood developed his strategic thinking and cunning leadership, his narcissistic self promotion led
us to victory in World War II.
George Smith Patton always had a lifelong interest in the military and war. Patton was born on the
11th of November 1885 in San Gabriel, California. Patton was a dyslexic young man so school was
hard for him (river editor, 42). He had low self esteem and he cried often (river editor,42). Patton s

Thomas Malthus And John Stuart Mill Summary
The issue of sustainability is one of the most fundamental and important subjects in economics.
Thomas Malthus bleak evaluation of humanity s prospects in the face of overpopulation heralded a
new age in economics where pessimism became the undisputed ruler of discourse. John Stuart Mill s
efforts to banish this pervasive gloom by appealing to the capabilities and intelligence of his fellow
men is both inspiring and devastatingly effective. In a broader context, the struggle between Thomas
Malthus and John Stuart Mill cannot be viewed as merely a peripheral debate on a singular issue; it is
a battle for the very soul of economic analysis. Before delving into a comparative analysis of these
two brilliant thinkers, it is essential to provide an overview of their differing theories of human nature
and to examine the contexts that shaped their scholarship.
Thomas Malthus lived in a society that venerated population growth as the ultimate source of
prosperity and harmony. Contemporaries of Malthus, such as clergyman William Paley, argued that
the aggregate amount of happiness in a society is almost exactly proportional to the size of its
populace. It therefore comes as no surprise that the noblemen, politicians, and theologians of Malthus
time were greatly distressed by sensational claims that England s population was in severe decline.
The hysteria of this concern was neatly encapsulated by Paley, who unambiguously asserted that a
contraction of the population is

Marcovina, Trevor J. Orchard, George A. Bray, David S. Schade, Marinella G. Temprosa, Neil H.
White, Jill P. Crandall, and the Diabetes Prevention Program Research Group
OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this study was to assess the risks involved in B12 deficiency because of the long term
use of Metformin in diabetes prevention.
BACKGROUND
Vitamin B12 (also known as Cyanocobalamin and Cobalamin) is one of eight B vitamins. Commonly,
all B vitamins help in the conversion of carbohydrates to glucose, producing energy. Vitamin B12
main role is in maintaining healthy nerve cells and aids in the body s DNA replication. Also, it works
closely with other vitamins such as B6 and B9 (also known as Folate/Folic Acid) to help make red
blood cells and increase iron s efficacy in the body, create adenosylmethionine (SAMe) that is
involved in immune and mood function, and control blood levels of the amino acid homocysteine.
High levels of homocysteine are associated with heart disease. Overall, it is found that low levels of
vitamin B12 can cause fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea, numbness, peripheral neuropathy (in
severe cases), anemia, and age related macular degeneration.1
It is believed that Metformin interferes with vitamin B 12 Intrinsic Factor Complex. Metformin is an
oral biguanide antidiabetic agent that aids

An Analysis of the Movie, Blood Diamond Essay
The movie Blood Diamond was released in 2006 and featured Leonardo Di Caprio as an arms
smuggler whose main goal is to obtain a seemingly priceless diamond from a villager during the civil
war in Sierra Leone. The film, although it has been called mild in comparison to reality, depicts the
brutality that inhabitants of diamond villages were subjected to. The film was nominated for five
Academy Awards, and won numerous other awards. The film marker is trying to raise awareness of
the illicit conflict diamond trade and reinforcing the Kimberley process1 and showing how it will stem
the flow of conflict diamonds. This is successful mainly due to the public outburst after the movie.
The great impact of the movie has caused diamond ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He also is trying to show us that the people at Van De Kaap are not truly trying to solve the problem.
Instead they are aggravating the situation. The filmmaker aims to discourage racism and show that
both blacks and whites can work together to solve various problems. In the movie, Danny Archer had
been forced to work together with Solomon Vandy, but they grew in terms of mutual understanding
even though they had different purposes for finding the diamond (Danny profit, Solomon to find
family). From our research, cooperation among Africans is needed to effectively solve the flow of
conflict diamonds. An African Union was set up to speak on behalf of the African nations.
Discouraging racism will always be important in Singapore not only because the local population
consists of many different races, but also because of the apparent pro Bumiputra policies which have
drawn flak from some racial communities in Malaysia. Besides, the filmmaker wants to show how an
ineffective government can lead to suffering of its citizens. In the movie, Free Town4 fell into the
hands of the RUF where many were killed and buildings were razed, due to the failure of the
government to effectively enforce security in the region. This is supported by one of the arguments
from research stating that strong governments are needed to effectively stem the flow of conflict
diamonds out of Sierra Leone into Liberia. Relating to Singapore, the

The Impact of Reduced Branding on Consumer Choice
According to Dr Jane Leighton and Dr Geoff Bird (2012) investigated three processes which were the
impact of reduced branding on consumer choice, the impact of increased non branded information on
consumer choice and the impact of copycat branding on consumer choice. Data was collected from 35
participants. To collect data for the processes methods like attention, look duration and recognition of
consumers were used. The first process which whether consumer choice is affected by the reduced
branding on the packaging resulted in positive as reducing branding could have a detrimental effect on
consumers attention and ability to recognize the brand. The result of the impact of increased non
branded information on the packaging showed that it will have a small effect on consumer s
recognition of brands. The final process which was the impact of copycat branding which is brands
that are perceptually similar to other established brands, has positive effect on the brand recognition.
According to Mohmmad Doostar and Maryam Kazemi (2012) researched the impact of brand equity
and purchase decision of final consumer. The researchers have used the model of brand equity
according to which brand equity has four dimensions perceived quality, brand loyalty, brand image
and brand awareness. The methods to gather information in this study used were library (specialized

The Pros And Cons Of The IMF And Egyptian Currency Crisis
Egypt s economy spiraled downwards following the Arab Spring when investors hurried out of the
economy, largely impacting the currency, foreign reserves, and investments in the country. This paper

Firstly, the causes and the effects of this crisis will be analyzed, using data from the World Bank and
the International Monetary Fund. Secondly, theoretical approaches of handling and recovering a
financial crises will be reviewed and compared to the case study. Thereafter, current policy

this topic. Ramzy s article, Green economy: a pathway to sustainable economic growth in Egypt .
Ramzy advocates for more reforms towards a more environmental friendly economy in Egypt (2013,

focuses on the potential of the youth population in Egypt to the country s economy along with the idea
to promote sustainable resources in Egypt (2016, 2721). These scholars have thus aimed to find ways
towards how Egypt can diversify its economy, mostly here in ecological ways, which could arguably
bring in further investments into the Egyptian economy (Ramzi 2013, 124) (Mansour 2016, 2722).
However, to focus more specifically on the approaches towards the currency crisis itself, the paper
will now turn to the approaches of the IMF to the crisis. These approaches came as part of the
conditions to the US $12 billion loan granted in portions to Egypt in November 2016 (IMF 2016). The
IMF took a liberal approach in its loan conditions towards Egypt. That is, floating the exchange rate of
the Egyptian pound, introduction of value added tax, reduction of subsidies, and raising interest rates

Challenges Of Life During The California Gold Rush
The California Gold Rush was a period of time when thousands of people from all over the world
came to California for gold, some were lucky, most were not. California was owned by Mexico 1600
1846. Mexico soon allowed the U.S. to have California as it s own state, and that is when they found
the gold. The California Gold Rush was a difficult time with the challenges people faced traveling to
California, the way the Forty Niners lived, and the way they used the gold. Thousands of men and
women would bunk on a boat for up to almost a year. When traveling to California, the men and
women on board had to live several months eating old and moldy food, this caused many to die or
become ill. The unhealthy voyage was also very dangerous, they had to go through many storms,
some could even lead to a ship sinking or a person getting thrown overboard. The author stated The
trip around Cape Horn was a dangerous as well as unpleasant. Ferocious rains and freezing gales

the thieves, especially the Chinese. The Chinese were robbed and harassed the most. Most of of

they took their land. The California Gold Rush caused economic changes. A quote to justify is
Merchants charged higher prices for supplies as people began to stream into California. Money was
more available than food. Price increases affected everything from eggs to software. (McGill, 1 2).
Many during the California Gold Rush had to leave behind their family behind so they could travel
and get to California without a hassle. They would leave so fast because they believed that the gold
would be gone by the time they got there. The California Gold Rush was not only dangerous but also
risky for those who left their family

The Two Main Types Of International Organizations
International organizations have been noted to be around since the mid 19th century and such
organizations do not operate for profit. An international organization is defined by the United Nations
as an organization with an international membership, scope, or presence. The main objective of all the
international organizations they say ,have usually been welfare and the improvement of member
countries through cooperation. Karns and Mingst identify the two main types of international
organizations as IGOs and INGOs which they also refer to as international and transnational structures
who are actors in global governance. Global governance, they say, are the cooperative problem

They employ limited resources to make rules, set standards, procreate principles and broadly represent
more humanity than states and other actors do. There are many kinds of NGOs such as transnational,
government organized, government regulated and initiated, business and industry, donor organized,
donor dominated, people s organizations, operational, advocacy, transnational social movements,
quasi, and anti governmental NGOs. Their number increased (more than 23,000 in the early 1990s)
and their effectiveness for transnational politics became more relevant in recent decades. They have
become crucial participants in the international policy process says Brown (1995). Some INGOs are
formed to advocate a particular cause such as human rights, peace, or environmental protection. While
others are established to provide services such as disaster relief, humanitarian aid in war torn societies,
or development assistance. Many INGOs are transnational federations involving formal, long term
links among national groups. Examples include the International Federation of Red Cross and Red
Crescent Societies, the World Wildlife Fund, Transparency International, Human Rights Watch,
Amnesty International, and Save the Children. INGOs governance functions parallel many functions
provided by IGOs and, like IGOs, they can be analyzed as both pieces of and actors in global
governance. As pieces of governance, INGOs

Taboo In Utah Culture
Taboo is defined as a social subject, person, place, or thing, prohibited by a social custom. In my
definition of the work taboo, it means that something is not appropriate in the culture I live in. For
example it is Taboo in Utah culture is to be a Democrat because most of the state are Republicans,
they look at Democrats and the think that they are communists. In my survey that I interviewed 10
people there was some surprising results and some foods were considered more taboo than others. For
example the number one food that most people would never eat was human beings. Eating human
beings is considered taboo because our societies stance that killing and eating our fellow kind is
immoral and is one of the worst crimes that you can commit. I also found that insects and animals that
we are closely related to have a stigma of being taboo in our society. After my research I would have
to say that there is still definitely taboo s in our society especially when it comes to our species. ...

little over half of all the answers. The second of the most answered towards the survey is that they
would never eat it, this result shows that the people that I interviewed would never even considered

  • 8. An Epic Hero in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a Poem... Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a poem by the Pearl Poet, sends an epic hero on a journey to discover his flaw. In his journey of figuring out his flaw, Sir Gawain encounters a Green Knight that holds a holly and axe in his hands. On a Christmas dinner, the Green knight rides into King Arthur s hall proposing a game. Any knight willing to cut off the his head is able to keep the axe, but only if he agrees to let the Green Knight return the blow at a later time. The Green knight was described as one who was plantlike and had a giant body structure, leading to the assumption that he was a certain type of vegetation god. The knight also held a holly in one hand and an axe in another, possibly representing the necessity of plants to die in the cooler climates in order for them to grow again when it summer returns. The Green Knight, playing an important role for plant life and crops, is still a mysterious character. His odd characteristics with his supernatural powers make it evident that the Green Knight has some connection with crops and vegetation. The Green Knight s physical features are clearly described in the story. He was described to have green skin and a huge build: greater than any on earth; from neck to loin so strong and thickly made, and with limbs so long and so great that he seemed even as a giant... For he was clad all in green This indicates that the knight s sturdy build and green color is like that of a healthy plant. The knight s long limbs ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Techniques that are easy to integrate into your everyday interactions with students that support the discipline plan are: communicating positive expectations, correcting students in a positive way, developing classroom pride, demonstrating caring, and preventing and reducing your own frustration and stress (Boynton, 2005) . Shockingly in many of the stories I ve read the exact opposite happens and they fight through these tough situations and always manage to stay positive no matter what is thrown at them. Anne Frank, Nelson Mandela and Louis Zamperini are perfect examples of people who were physically and emotionally incarcerated and they never let it bring them down. Instead, they used their incarceration as motivation to better the situation they were in. Reading many of the poems in class really gives you a sense of how a person is feeling in such little words. It describes the environment around them, how they are dealing with is and what their thoughts are on it. Analyzing Wallace s Theory Of Natural Selection Wallace and his line Charles Darwin has credit with the theory of natural selection in the history books, however there was another person Alfred Russell Wallace who came to the same conclusion. He was of plebian descent and had no reservations about going against the doctrines of the Church of England. He, like Darwin, had similar questions about species variation, diversity, and fitness; he decided to seek out the answers in his travels. Wallace s theory of evolution came from his experiences and observations in the unexplored islands of the Malay Archipelago specifically Borneo, Bali, Lombok, and New Guinea and Australia. Although Wallace s journey began in Singapore, Borneo became the stepladder to defining his first law. He combines geology and natural history to hypothesize that species connect in space and time to a closely allied predecessor. Further explaining that these connections are dendritic with extant species outermost and with extinct closely allied species innermost. It is due to the socialist ideas and values that are very old in the Latin American culture. The Bolivarian Revolution that started in Venezuela under the presidency of Hugo Chávez has reignited debate in Latin America and internationally on the questions of socialism and revolution introducing the reflections on class struggle, neoliberalism, counter power, revolutionary parties, community and communes, economy, politics, society, race and the hopes, and prospects of what is called Socialism 21st Century in contemporary South America. Neoliberalism is the deregulation and expansion of the market economy, it includes eliminating barriers to trade such as tariffs and government subsidies of national industry, and implementing national policies that favor the needs of business and investment ( Is Capitalism a good ). This in turn causes a loss in state revenue, which means a loss in the amount of funding available for social welfare programs. However, a hero is defined as a person who is admired or idealized for their courage, noble qualities, and outstanding achievements. They are perceived as mighty protectors and great leaders who can do amazing acts. They can bring success and wealth to people, and lead them towards prosperity. Traditional heroes are also often revered for their courage, achievements, and noble qualities. They are looked up to by others and can be idolized or admired by the greater public. • 26. Thomas Malthus And John Stuart Mill Summary The issue of sustainability is one of the most fundamental and important subjects in economics. Thomas Malthus bleak evaluation of humanity s prospects in the face of overpopulation heralded a new age in economics where pessimism became the undisputed ruler of discourse. John Stuart Mill s efforts to banish this pervasive gloom by appealing to the capabilities and intelligence of his fellow men is both inspiring and devastatingly effective. In a broader context, the struggle between Thomas Malthus and John Stuart Mill cannot be viewed as merely a peripheral debate on a singular issue; it is a battle for the very soul of economic analysis. Before delving into a comparative analysis of these two brilliant thinkers, it is essential to provide an overview of their differing theories of human nature and to examine the contexts that shaped their scholarship. Thomas Malthus lived in a society that venerated population growth as the ultimate source of prosperity and harmony. Contemporaries of Malthus, such as clergyman William Paley, argued that the aggregate amount of happiness in a society is almost exactly proportional to the size of its populace. It therefore comes as no surprise that the noblemen, politicians, and theologians of Malthus time were greatly distressed by sensational claims that England s population was in severe decline. BACKGROUND Vitamin B12 (also known as Cyanocobalamin and Cobalamin) is one of eight B vitamins. Commonly, all B vitamins help in the conversion of carbohydrates to glucose, producing energy. Vitamin B12 main role is in maintaining healthy nerve cells and aids in the body s DNA replication. Also, it works closely with other vitamins such as B6 and B9 (also known as Folate/Folic Acid) to help make red blood cells and increase iron s efficacy in the body, create adenosylmethionine (SAMe) that is involved in immune and mood function, and control blood levels of the amino acid homocysteine. High levels of homocysteine are associated with heart disease. Overall, it is found that low levels of vitamin B12 can cause fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea, numbness, peripheral neuropathy (in severe cases), anemia, and age related macular degeneration.1 It is believed that Metformin interferes with vitamin B 12 Intrinsic Factor Complex.
