Digital media is the realization that computer engineers have had for years.
Originally multimedia did not have to be digital. For example a multimedia presentation could have incorporated a slide show for visuals, tape recorder for audio and an overhead projector for text.
Because more software apps have become available and hardware has become more efficient at handling more than one media the term multimedia has been coinedDigital remember is the binary form of real world information.
There are standard collections that come with the software or program such as word, you can purchase collections, or use web-sites
Convey motion more vividly than with text alone
