1. • Responsible for manufacturing planning and processing of flight hardware for multiple projects that are part of the International
Space Station.
• Direct contact for customers and a liaison between customers and all manufacturing departments to prevent work
delays, resolve problems and discrepancies with hardware, and to provide weekly status and percentage of completion
reports for both internal and external customers.
• Review customer orders to ensure they meet pricing, quantity, delivery, and drawing revisions as quoted and
initiate production. Review scheduling capacity in order to perform make/buy decisions.
• Read and Interpret drawings, plans, procedures, and specifications to identify operations, processes, materials, and
hardware required for production. Generate work orders and create instruction packages for technicians to complete their
tasks.
• Prepare purchase requisitions. Procure parts, materials, and services needed for all customer orders, internal office supplies, and
building maintenance. Monitor and expedite delivery of purchase orders to maintain schedule and delivery.
• Prepare accounts payable, accounts receivable, produce weekly accounting reports, verify employee time sheets, and assist HR
with employee benefits, forms, and maintain employee files.
• Record keeping and document control. Create, maintain, and archive project master files required for traceability and configuration
management in both paper and electronic format.
• Setup and coordinate the flow of the mechanical flight assembly lab to keep projects moving through the final stages of production.
• Issue and receive materials into and out of controlled storage for jobs and customer shipments/deliveries, maintain electronic
inventory database, resolve issues with discrepancies in inventory, and perform internal audits.
• Provide administrative support to general manager and sales. Greet and direct incoming calls and visitors. Handle all inbound and
outbound deliveries.
• Prepare brochures, take photos, and create presentations for sales.
• Generate packing slips and prepare shipments with acceptance data packages upon completion of orders.
