is the relative reactivity of aluminum, potassium, copper, iron and hydrogen? Introduction: This lab
will introduce several key concepts surrounding metal reactivity as well as electronegativity and
periodic trends on the periodic table. Electronegativity by definition is a measure of the tendency of an
atom to attract a bonding pair of electrons. In a bond between atoms in a molecule, the atom that is
more electronegative will attract the bonded pair of electrons closer to it s own nucleus. Reactivity
refers to how vigorously or the likelihood of a element to react with other elements or substances.
Electronegativity can be used to determine the reactivity of a substance as well as using ionization
energy (how easily electrons can be removed from an outer shell). This lab will allow us to look into
the relative reactivity of metals. Relative reactivity means the reactivity scale in order of decreasing

Today, students can choose more than one way to attend school. The ordinary way is by attending a
traditional classroom setting which has been utilized for years. The other option is to attend school by

Among the reasons for concern, critics include vague and incomplete security guidelines, insufficient
documentation requirements, and inadequate descriptions of the configuration of commercial
software. An electronic voting machine has been designed by a microcontroller for which the code is
written in assembly language. Various code protection schemes specified by the manufacturer of the
microcontroller are used to prevent inadvertent or deliberate reading and reproduction of the code
contained in the microcontroller. The election data contained in the EEPROM of the microcontroller
can download into a central computer for tabulations. The security of data in this computer is enforced
by generating digital signatures for each data file created. This process makes it impossible for anyone
to substitute wrong or deliberately altered data files at any intermediate stage between the capturing of
voter s intent by the machine and the final results tabulations. Prior to the election, all configuration
data is set up on the counting server. The configuration is then transferred to the ballot box server.
Configuration data include: candidate names, polling station identity, and a list of barcodes. During the
voting period, voters are authenticated as per the traditional paper based voting, and asked whether

a gorilla that teaches through telepathy, how human civilization has developed to its current state. He

dominant culture; they seek to control the world through aggressive agricultural production and
development of new technology. The leavers on the other hand, are people who live in tribal cultures

A metaphor Ishmael used in the book (pages 61 63) was that Takers expansion in the world can be
viewed like an early airman testing out the first aircraft with flapping wings, its design based on a
mistaken understanding of the laws of flight. As the flight starts out, all is well, as the airman moving
through the air freely. However, he is actually in freefall, as the device is not fit for flying. The man
looks at all the abandoned crafts on the ground and wonders why they didn t strive for flight like him.
As he realizes he is falling to the ground, he tries to save himself by pedalling with all his might, but
as the aircraft is fundamentally flawed, this does nothing to save him. This journey can be compared
to the journey of human civilization, which started out based on the misconception that a human
dominated earth could be sustainable. It failed to obey the basic laws of nature, which is currently
leading it to its downfall. This metaphor is very applicable to the world today, as we deal with the
effects of human activities such as mass industry, deforestation, and destruction of natural animal
habitats for human settlement. These activities may seem to bring many benefits in the short term,
