Building processes
First fixing
This type of work – such as roofing, windows and staircases – is done
before plastering takes place.
Second fixing
This type of work includes skirting boards, door frames, dado and
picture rails, and fitting kitchens and doors. This is done once the walls
and ceilings have been plastered.
