Falls from ladders are a leading cause of serious and fatal injuries in the construction industry.
They PPT are to help you:
Understand the types of ladders used in site ladder requirements.
understand how to correct or eliminate fall hazards on your job sites related to ladder use.
Lifting slings made from nylon are the most common and versatile styles of slings. Since they can be used in many lifting applications there are several types of damage that can occur.
Our inspection and check list will not only describe the types of damage but will give tips to prevent damage.

Base Structures Tensile Fabric Webinar 3: London 2012 Games Case Study - The ...Base Structures Ltd
This is the presentation used for the third of our tensile fabric webinars, a refresher programme for architects.
Webinar 3 is called 'London 2012 Games Case Study - The Basketball Arena and Shooting Ranges' and offers a behind the scenes look at how these two very different temporary structures were created - from initial design through to installation and completion.
The Basketball Arena was the largest temporary structure ever created for an Olympic Games and also the quickest structure to be built on the Olympic Park. The Shooting Ranges comprise of three cutting edge architectural masterpieces, unique temporary structures designed to leave no lasting trace after the event.
You can also watch recordings of the narrated webinar series, simply visit www.basestructures.com/portal/tensile-fabric-webinars.html.

A new method is proposed that can be implemented in case of mine fire. One of the most fatal accidents in Mining is outbreak of mine fire, this method helps to isolate the area under fire and simultaneously tries to diminish the fire to prevent coal loss.
Geocience skills have a place in the future. Geophysical & geotechnical data, interpretation will be required for identifying the best places & ways to install wind turbines.
KuberTENes Birthday Bash Guadalajara - K8sGPT first impressionsVictor Morales
K8sGPT is a tool that analyzes and diagnoses Kubernetes clusters. This presentation was used to share the requirements and dependencies to deploy K8sGPT in a local environment.
We have compiled the most important slides from each speaker's presentation. This year’s compilation, available for free, captures the key insights and contributions shared during the DfMAy 2024 conference.
ACEP Magazine edition 4th launched on 05.06.2024Rahul
This document provides information about the third edition of the magazine "Sthapatya" published by the Association of Civil Engineers (Practicing) Aurangabad. It includes messages from current and past presidents of ACEP, memories and photos from past ACEP events, information on life time achievement awards given by ACEP, and a technical article on concrete maintenance, repairs and strengthening. The document highlights activities of ACEP and provides a technical educational article for members.
Using recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) for pavements is crucial to achieving sustainability. Implementing RCA for new pavement can minimize carbon footprint, conserve natural resources, reduce harmful emissions, and lower life cycle costs. Compared to natural aggregate (NA), RCA pavement has fewer comprehensive studies and sustainability assessments.
Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.
Water billing management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Our project entitled “Water Billing Management System” aims is to generate Water bill with all the charges and penalty. Manual system that is employed is extremely laborious and quite inadequate. It only makes the process more difficult and hard.
The aim of our project is to develop a system that is meant to partially computerize the work performed in the Water Board like generating monthly Water bill, record of consuming unit of water, store record of the customer and previous unpaid record.
We used HTML/PHP as front end and MYSQL as back end for developing our project. HTML is primarily a visual design environment. We can create a android application by designing the form and that make up the user interface. Adding android application code to the form and the objects such as buttons and text boxes on them and adding any required support code in additional modular.

HEAP SORT ILLUSTRATED WITH HEAPIFY, BUILD HEAP FOR DYNAMIC ARRAYS.
Heap sort is a comparison-based sorting technique based on Binary Heap data structure. It is similar to the selection sort where we first find the minimum element and place the minimum element at the beginning. Repeat the same process for the remaining elements.
A review on techniques and modelling methodologies used for checking electrom...nooriasukmaningtyas
The proper function of the integrated circuit (IC) in an inhibiting electromagnetic environment has always been a serious concern throughout the decades of revolution in the world of electronics, from disjunct devices to today’s integrated circuit technology, where billions of transistors are combined on a single chip. The automotive industry and smart vehicles in particular, are confronting design issues such as being prone to electromagnetic interference (EMI). Electronic control devices calculate incorrect outputs because of EMI and sensors give misleading values which can prove fatal in case of automotives. In this paper, the authors have non exhaustively tried to review research work concerned with the investigation of EMI in ICs and prediction of this EMI using various modelling methodologies and measurement setups.
2. This scaffold is a real example, it was required as
access to the PS25 Pier Columns in Central
Section in order to make the sand blasting of the
columns so as to obtain a Granit look finish.
With the black concrete and the sand blasting it
should look like natural granite.
The brief asked the scaffold to be fully clad with
sheeting
Three lifts are required
The ground is soil
It will be stabilised with box-ties to concrete
