 Visual perceptions remains in the brain for longer time
then what we hear.
 With pictures and videos we can understand in a better
way.
 Videos shown are printed in our mind . we can have
visual perspective and can remember longer.
 We can see the points that we miss while hearing.
 Playing animation and sound effects adds little more to
effective teaching.
 Since it is interesting, we will not fall a sleep.

STATEMENT OF AIM.
Let us study aboutLet us study about “Excretion In Human”.“Excretion In Human”.
 Like otheranimals humans have
a systemthat excretes Nitrogen
wastes as Urea, Salts and Water.
EXCRETION:-
 The removal of Nitrogeneous
waste from the body is called
Excretion..
Excretory systemconsist ofExcretory systemconsist of
1.A Pairof kidney.
2.A Pairof Ureter.
3.Urinary Bladder.
4.Urethra.
Kidney are been shaped struture about
10cmlong. They are located just above
the waist on eitherside of the backbone.
The right kidney is placed slightly above
the left.
A Narrow tube called the Ureterruns from
the innerside of each kidney. The Ureter
inturns are connected to a large sac like
structure called Urinary bladder.
Leading from Urinary bladderis
anothermusculartube called Urethra.
STRUCTURE OF KIDNEYSTRUCTURE OF KIDNEY
A longitudinal section of a kidney reveal an
outercortex and innermedulla. The
medulla consist of 8-18 pyramids like
structures.
At the end of pyramid there are minutes
opening called renal papillae. Pyramids
project into the innerhallow peluis,

Q2) Explain the shape and size of kidney ?
ANS: Kidneys are bean shaped structure darkreddish
brown in colour, about 10 cm long.
Q3) How many nephrons are present in each kidney ?
ANS: Each kidney consist of about one million nephron.
Q4) Where is urine collected and store ?
ANS: Urine is collected and stored in urinary bladder.
“Nephrons are the structural and
functional unit of the kidney.”
 Yourkidneys are composed of
one million cells called nephron.
 Nephron consist of rounded cup
shaped called the bowman’s
capsule and the collecting duct .
 Bowman’s capsule is present in
the cortext where as the

portion of collecting duct.
 These long coiled tubes are
where the blood is actually
filtered and urine is produced.

  • 2.  Visual perceptions remains in the brain for longer time then what we hear.  With pictures and videos we can understand in a better way.  Videos shown are printed in our mind . we can have visual perspective and can remember longer.  We can see the points that we miss while hearing.  Playing animation and sound effects adds little more to effective teaching.  Since it is interesting, we will not fall a sleep.

  • 11.  Like otheranimals humans have a systemthat excretes Nitrogen wastes as Urea, Salts and Water. EXCRETION:-  The removal of Nitrogeneous waste from the body is called Excretion..

  • 13. Kidney are been shaped struture about 10cmlong. They are located just above the waist on eitherside of the backbone. The right kidney is placed slightly above the left. A Narrow tube called the Ureterruns from the innerside of each kidney. The Ureter inturns are connected to a large sac like structure called Urinary bladder. Leading from Urinary bladderis anothermusculartube called Urethra. STRUCTURE OF KIDNEYSTRUCTURE OF KIDNEY

At the end of pyramid there are minutes opening called renal papillae. Pyramids project into the innerhallow peluis, Ureterstarts fromthe peluis. Each kidney consists of about one million Nephrons, Blood cappillaries and connective Tissue.

  • 18. “Nephrons are the structural and functional unit of the kidney.”  Yourkidneys are composed of one million cells called nephron.  Nephron consist of rounded cup shaped called the bowman’s capsule and the collecting duct .  Bowman’s capsule is present in the cortext where as the medulla consist of the major portion of collecting duct.  These long coiled tubes are where the blood is actually filtered and urine is produced.
