Overview There are many ways to terminate the obligations of a contract. Most often, parties conclude
their contract obligations by performing them. However, sometimes problems arise and parties cannot

Breach of Contract A breach of contract is a legal concept in which a binding agreement or bargained
for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties to the contract, (Breach, 2007). A breach of
contract can occur when one party does not perform as he or she promised; when one party does
something that makes it impossible for the other party to perform the duties under the contract; or
when one party makes it clear that he or she does not intend to perform the contract duties, (Bennett,
2007). For example, if Company B terminated its agreement with Company A in order to make a
larger profit, that would be a breach of contract. It would also be a breach of contract if Company B
fulfilled Company C s order first and was late meeting the terms of its contract with Company A.
Another example of a breach of contract would be if Company A was supposed to make a deposit and
Company B was planning to use the deposit to purchase the computer equipment, and the check
bounced. In that situation, Company A s breach would make it impossible for Company B to perform
its contract obligations. As stated previously, if one party fails to act as promised, and the other

Customer Service and Relationship Marketing
Customer Service
Customer service is an art and a science and it is something that many firms do not do well, let alone
perfect. Excellent customer service is defined by being pleasant with the customer and providing them
with assistance regarding just about anything and everything that they require and need relative to the
service or good that they are purchasing. A customer is any buyer or even potential buyer of the good
or service being and the customers need and/or expect that the good or service be reasonably price and
be delivered as promised based on what is advertised and/or what is commonly accepted and industry
standard about the good or service. The best way to build a customer focused strategy is to construct a
framework and process that is as common sense and stream lined as possible so that it addresses the
ongoing concerns of the business while at the same time reasonably helping and assisting the
customers get what they need out of the good or service. Going above and beyond what the customer
requires is always a plus and will engender good will and return visits by the customer, more often
than not (Swinburn, 2006)(Sheldrake, 1998)(Shaw Ivins, 2005).
Core Elements of Service Process
There are several major elements of the service process. These elements are strong leadership,
effective complaint handling, good training, good support for internal and external customers and
having a strong strategy that is definitively based on whether a good or service

Similarities Between Lost Of Motion And Lost In Motion
When it comes to speaking or performing in front of an audience, everyone has their own ways of
handling the situation, even if they don t have a fear of a big audience. Some people imagine their
audience naked and some imagine themselves somewhere else. This trick to performing is expressed
in both Lost in Motion and Lost in Motion 2 These short films depict two professional dancers
performing breath taking moves, all while in perfect elegance. These two short films have both
similarities and differences. The comparison of these films can be best categorized by its setting, its
mood, and its music
As stated in the introduction, both people in the Lost in Motion videos are both professional dancers.
When the two dance, they seem to be alone in their thoughts. In Lost in Motion , the male dancer is
performing his routine backstage behind the curtain, he is alone both in his mind and outside of it as
well. The area where he is dancing is pitch black with blue lines complementing each strong
movement. After he finishes his routine, he proceeds to enter onto the stage in front of the audience. In
Lost in Motion 2 , the female dancer is performing in front of a live audience, however in her mind
she is alone. In her mind, she is dancing on a giant floating rock structure in an ominous place filled
with storms. While in this place, she dances on the edge, fearlessly. After her performance, she then
proceeds to enter backstage.
The settings of both short films contribute

How The Grinch Stole Christmas Research Paper
Dr. Seuss, written many books such as Green Eggs and Ham and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, has
portrayed many morals that can be understood. My favorite Dr. Seuss book is How the Grinch Stole
Christmas. It is my favorite book because it tells a tale about how the mischievous Grinch (who hates
Christmas) plots to steal Christmas from the Whos. At the end of the book the Grinch realizes that
there is more to Christmas then presents. It is also my favorite book because it teaches me that you
don t need presents to celebrate Christmas. You can still celebrate Christmas with or without presents.
My favorite character from any Dr. Seuss book is Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole
Christmas. She is my favorite character because she became friends

Production Of The Automotive Industry
Selected Review of Literature: Lean Manufacturing in Automotive Industry The automotive industry
continues to grow every day. Companies are always coming out with new technology for cars to better
their product. In order for these companies to keep a competitive advantage they most implement
different types of manufacturing processes. One of these manufacturing processes is lean
manufacturing. Sundar, Balaji and Satheesh have done research on lean manufacturing, and they
define it as the elimination of waste by determining value added activities and non value added
activities. Non value added activities consist of transportation, inventory, motion waiting,
overproduction, over processing, and defects (2014). Elmoselhy has found multiple tools to be used to
implement lean manufacturing. Some of these tools are: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Single Minute
Exchange Die, Kaizen, and Autonomation. This list does not include all of the possible ways to
implement lean manufacturing, but gives a brief introduction to a couple. The 5S stands for Sorting,
Setting, Shining, Standardizing, and Sustaining (2013). This paper will discuss one of the five S s,
which will be standardizing. Also, this paper will also go into detail about how an automotive
manufacturing company uses Single Minute Exchange Die, and some other aspects of lean
manufacturing such as visual control and environmental management. Because lean manufacturing
can be implemented in many different ways this paper

The Oscar Whiteness Machine, By Richard Brody
The Oscar Whiteness Machine, written by Richard Brody, was published in the online The New
Yorker January 21st, 2016. The author has written for the New Yorker since 1999 and has been one of
their white movie critics, one of the subjects of this article, since 2005. In the Article Brody takes the
stance of a social justice warrior, proclaiming war on all those complicit in the disparity between
white and black; especially in the film arena. His subject changes with paragraphs, movie critics,
Oscar nominees and watchers, readers of the article, and anyone discriminatory. The Oscar Whiteness
Machine is a mix of genres but it gets its main point across, black people have been discriminated
against in the Oscars, and in life, and the film business plays a role in the suppression of black culture.
We honor the best and whitest. Neil Patrick Harris s opening line at the Oscars in 2015 does a good
job at pointing out one of the flaws of the award show that Richard Brody so passionately writes
about. The article, while aimed at the Oscars, however, encompasses a wider issue. According to
Brody this issue is the whiting out of movies about black experience. and looking at the past two years
of nominations and winners, I wouldn t say he s wrong (Brody 1). Brody uses logos to point out the
overwhelming evidence of the best movies by black filmmakers have gone utterly unnoticed by the
Academy (Brody 2). He names actors like Danny Glover and Alfre Woodard who have never been

Persuasive Essay On Amazon Grocery Business
One of the most annoying things in the world is going shopping. It s not like getting new stuff is a
complete nightmare, it s just the part where you have to interact with people, deal with lines, look at
prices, figure out how much money you have, and so on. That stuff really gets me. What s even worse
that shopping is grocery shopping. If you go to a grocery store on a weekend, you might as well take a
Xanax before you walk in the door. Nothing makes me want to scream like a old people standing in
the way of an entire aisle and then looking at you like you re doing something wrong.
Thankfully, the go to place for pretty much everything besides groceries is getting into the grocery
business. According to The Wall Street Journal, Amazon will soon start rolling out its own private
label brands for non perishable items like baby food, tea, coffee, spices, and non perishables like
laundry detergent. So, it s not like you are going to order milk and bacon from Amazon. Although, that
would be amazing.

Amazon already sells private label goods under its Amazon Basics line, but it has never offered non
perishable items under it before. This looks like it could be an up hill battle for its private label when
you look at the history. In 2014, Amazon had to recall its Element brand diapers because of a design
flaw. Selling food online and enduring a recall could be a huge hit to the entire idea.
If the idea to sell groceries turns out to be a success, I think I will only have to go to the store on my
corner to get perishable goods, then leave the rest of it to

The Destruction Of The Everglades
The Destruction of the Everglades The Everglades National Park protects the largest wild life area east
of the Mississippi River. The Everglades are the largest remaining sub tropical wild life area in 48
states sitting on 1.5 million acres preserved at Florida s tip off shore. The Everglades contain various
ecosystems such as rivers, lakes ponds, marshes, etc. These wild life areas feature both fresh and
saltwater areas, open prairies, pine rock lands, tropical hardwood forests, offshore coral reefs, and
mangrove forests. This paper will summarize how humans contributed to the destruction of the
Everglades and how man is working to save the Everglades. Since the Everglades is comprised of both
fresh and saltwater areas the vast range of wildlife species in the Everglades include but not limited to
reptiles, mammals, aquatic birds, etc. The vast spectrum of wildlife living in the Florida Everglades
include but not limited to aquatic animals, mammals, reptiles, etc. Of this vast spectrum of wildlife
living in the Florida Everglades there are 56+ species who are either endangered or are in jeopardy of
being endangered. The Everglades are home to two National Parks, four National Wildlife Refuges,
and one National Marine Sanctuary that bring almost 2 million visitors every year to experience this
natural beauty located minutes from Miami Florida. The powerful environmental forces of sun, water,
wind, and fire greatly affect the development and lifecycles of these

Lao Tzu Evil
The concepts of good and evil exist within every society therefore there must exist some method of
instruction about the path to goodness. Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching, who defines good as
having faith in the Tao to better the world and oneself, and Dante, who wrote The Divine Comedy and
defines good as faith the way of heaven and hell and in the punishments of sinners, take very different
approaches to defining the path to virtuousness. Lao Tzu defines what is good and focuses on the
reward of achieving that goodness, while Dante defines the good by exemplifying the bad to inspire
fear through the prospect of punishment. In the model of good versus evil one can focus on achieving
good or avoiding evil by setting an example that appeals to peoples interest in bettering their own lives
or in bettering their society. The good as defined by Lao Tzu can be more effectively and universally
achieved through a system of reward that defines the good such as is done in the Tao Te Ching rather
than using a system of punishment that defines good by exemplifying the bad through the sinners as
Dante does. While both texts appeal to self interest in their teaching of how attain virtue, Lao Tzu
widens his argument to consider the desire of people to better their society as well as themselves
which is more accurate to the nature of people. Dante suggests that the natural empathy of humans is
hindering and must be eliminated, but that view goes against human instinct as it is

Source Reduction Goal
How it supports the source reduction goal (All explanations of how principles support source
reduction and the resulting benefits to human and environmental health are thoroughly explained
many with examples and evidence of research)
Preventing waste is the most effective way to a greener and cleaner environment as it reduces or
eliminates the existence of waste right from the source. Waste management is already a huge issue in
our world and if we approach waste management with prevention we would leave no complications in
terms of treating, disposing or controlling it. Less waste means less hazards to the environment and to
the public health which is the aim of green chemistry. Waste production is inevitable in the industries

Catalysts are a great example of source reductions because they provide energy in a reaction without
changing the process. By lowering the temperature of the reaction and altering the pressure used they
reduce energy. Ideally, they can be used indefinitely meaning that no product is going to waste, this
means that our environment and health would be benefited greatly due to the absence of waste. Unlike
stoichiometric reagents, catalysts do not generate waste, give more control on reaction such as
reducing unwanted side products and can carry out a reaction more than once, increasing efficiency of
product.. Also they can be used in small amounts to speed up reaction processes, so other forms of
energy would not be needed such as fossil

What Is The Relationship Between Coherence And Cohesion
1. Introduction
1.1 Overview
A language has four systems which are: vocabulary, grammar, phonology, and discourse. So, discourse
is mainly considered an important system of a language. The term (Discourse) is a piece of language,
weather it is written or spoken, which has a meaning, purpose, and also unity. and meaning and

I realized some researchers claimed that there is a close relationship between coherence and cohesion,
whereas others ignored such kind of correlation between coherence and cohesion .
2.2Cohesion VS Coherence On one hand, coherence is considered a very general principle of an
interpretation of language in context. It has a few number of formal linguistic features e.g vocabulary
choice. And the relationships in a coherent text, deals with the text as a whole. However, coherence
focused on semantic relationships at a primary level. On the other hand, cohesion has many formal
linguistic features repetition and reference. And the relationships in a cohesive text, deals between
sentences and also within sentences. Moreover, cohesion is determined by the relationships which are
characterized as overt intersentential in a lexical and grammatical manner. (Dag, 2014).

Protagonist In The Storm
What Makes a Protagonist A protagonist is a literary device used to develop a story: the story revolves
around the struggle of the protagonist who may undergo a change, usually at the climax (Literary
Devices). Using this definition, deciding the protagonist ought to be straightforward; however, if the
story follows many characters who undergo some change at the climax of the story, then deciding who
the protagonist is will be a bit more complicated. In the story Sweat, Delia can easily be labelled as the
protagonist: the story, for the most part, follows her life as she tries to cope with a loveless marriage.
She does undergo a change, twice in fact, when she decides not to put up with her husband s abuse,
anymore, and when she decides not to help him when he is bitten by a rattlesnake. In The Storm,
however, deciding the protagonist is a little more murky. The story focuses on multiple characters and
two of the characters undergo a struggle and a change. Calixta and Alcée can both effectively argued
as the protagonist of their story, whereas Alcée s struggle and Calixta s character change are ... Show

Storming Team Development
Leadership and followership are worthless when a strong foundation for a team is absent. Few teams
quickly begin operating and succeeding without taking time to progress through the stages of team
development, which reinforces the necessity of educating students on these four stages: Forming,
storming, norming and performing (Day). The forming stage is simple, as it is a group of individuals
joining together to form a team. Most people can accomplish this task without any knowledge or
training, but those who partake in a team building course gain knowledge to form a stronger team
from its inception. Such knowledge allows team members to break through the social, economic, and
mental barriers that divide them individually in order to see their ... Show more content on

While they recently emerged from the storming stage with higher levels of motivation and increased
knowledge, one variable can send them tumbling back into the storming stage (Norming). Such
variables include new challenges obstructing a team s physical progress to their goal, as well as
interpersonal issues that linger after the team s exit from the storming state; the former issue is easily
resolved once the latter is effectively dealt with. If individuals are unaware of the correct methods of
improving their interpersonal issues, which include, Issues of strengthening relationships, open
communication, and positive/constructive feedback the team will ultimately bear the burdens of team
members ineffectively settling persistent issues (Norming). While a team building course attempts to
disrupt a team during this stage, it also nurtures an environment for teams to work through any
remaining differences and begin to form a tighter bond within its ranks. Individuals gain greater
proficiency with their interpersonal relations, enabling themselves to collaborate with and place
greater trust in their teammates. Through partaking in a team building course, individuals secure the
necessary interpersonal skills to prevent their teams from plunging back into storming by excelling

Cedar Rapids was first established in 1849 and is located in eastern Iowa. Sumer was established
between 3000 and 4000 B.C. and is located in Mesopotamia. If I had to pick either to live in one of

I would pick Cedar Rapids because of its location. Cedar Rapids is located in eastern Iowa that is
surrounded by smaller towns that help provide a more stable economy for Cedar Rapids. But as in
Sumer you had surrounding cities that would raid the city and the people making Sumer have a more
unstable economy. I like Cedar Rapids better because you are more secure in your own home and may

Rapids has better irrigation systems that took place if their was a lack of water in their fields. Cedar
Rapids does have some problems which is that the crime rate is going up and the population that went

which were all able to be fixed with police and more flood protection plans being put into place. I like
Cedar Rapids better than Sumer because it has an all around protection that it provides for all of it s

If I had to chose from Cedar Rapids or Sumer to live in I would pick to live in Cedar Rapids. Cedar

What Is The Role Of Sympathy In Wordsworth s Old Man...
Adam Smith and was a great 19th century philosopher whose famous analytical work on sympathy,
The Theory of Moral Sentiments , continues to be the source of much contemporary speculation and
debate. To offer a general viewpoint of the Smithian model of sympathy, the term to sympathize
means to feel and to be able to relate to the pain and the suffering of others but only to a certain extent.
The ideas of sympathy presented in the Smithian model play a significant role in supporting voice in
prominent works by offering a stage on which the narrator can persuade and provoke his targeted
audience. One notable work which possesses this structure is Wordsworth s Old Man Traveling
(1798). The poem Old Man Traveling is a metaphor that creates sympathy by presenting the narration
through a paradoxical loudspeaker: a man appears serene and nonchalant while journeying with the
burden of a personal tragedy. The work incorporates and presents the strengths and weaknesses of the
Smithian model to varying degrees. In order to evoke sympathy in the reader, Wordsworth s narrator
paints his subject as an enduring hero , creates a contrast in feelings of the man and of those around
him, and showcases the incongruences between the man s reactions to his contemporary dilemma.
The narrator first opens the story with The little hedge row birds, / That peck along the road, regard
him not (Wordsworth 1 2), indicating nature s obliviousness to the traveler s presence. Mother Earth s

Technology Is Too Invasive, Lacks Transparency, And Must...
As with any advancement, the rise of technology has its drawbacks. The internet has allowed the
creation of an industry based solely in gathering and selling mass amounts of user data. This data
collection is meant to improve and personalize a user s experience. But the amount of data collected
far exceeds the amount needed to accomplish this. And despite the size and pervasive nature of the
industry, the general public knows very little about what they do. Data collection online is too
invasive, lacks transparency, and must be restricted. For starters, the sheer amount of data collected is
absurd. Some of it is expected, such as names, email addresses, crash reports, and other basic pieces of
information. But many companies also drew from unexpected sources. Google collects data from
search queries, time and date of phone calls, length of phone calls, and even data on a user s precise
location (Google). And while a user may expect that Facebook collects data from everything they post,
they may be surprised to learn that Facebook also collects data on a user from posts by other people.
Facebook will even collect information on web activity outside of Facebook via third party partners
(Facebook). And they re hardly the only companies to do this. In fact, there are companies that exist
solely for this purpose. They are known as data brokers , and they gather much of their information
online. When the Federal Trade Commission did a report on nine major data brokers, they

How Does Truman Capote Use Conflict In Miriam
In Miriam, by Truman Capote, amidst loneliness, Mrs. Miller becomes face to face with a young girl
whose personality is the complete opposite to her own, a girl who is not afraid to ask for what she
wants, while Mrs. Miller is recluse and avoids asking too much from other people. Gradually, as
Miriam pushes Mrs. Miller over the edge, she begins to lose the polite, withdrawn part of herself who
gives in to passivity. Realizing her faults, Mrs. Miller avoids any of her past characteristics and any
qualities that remind her of Miriam. Through characterization, conflict, and tone, Truman Capote uses
Miriam to reveal to the reader that self preservation and detachment can tear a person apart, just as
Mrs. Miller herself became a hollow shell of a person. With characterization and conflict, it is clear
that Miriam was able to enslave Mrs. Miller because her isolated life made her vulnerable. Miriam is
intrusive and demanding, while Mrs. Miller keeps to herself and as a result the other people in the
house never seemed to notice her . At first, Mrs. Miller met Miriam s impertinence ... Show more

Diaphragic Pressure Essay
If the therapist has access to an electronic medical record, noting transdiaphragmatic pressure from a
pulmonologists evaluation is the best indicator of diaphragmatic strength. This is measured as the
difference between intraabdominal pressure and intrathoracic pressure. Documenting diaphragmatic
weakness as a diagnosis should be considered when evaluating breathless patients. 44 Observation
will be the next tool to help identify those patients with dysfunctional breathing as a result of a poor
ZOA. Other authors recommend assessment in supine with a comparison made between sitting and
supine. Issues will be more pronounced in supine. A reduction in vital capacity (perceived
breathlessness) or reports of orthopnea is another indicator of DD. McCool2 Mier Jedrzejowicz et al
found that patients with the most severe orthopnea had the weakest diaphragms.44 In these patients,
the physical therapist should also look for the abdominal paradox. In this clinical sign the weakened
and flattened diaphragm contracts inwardly, as opposed to inferiorly, pulling the rib cage with it. It is a
result of the change in the orientation of the diaphragm, the loss of the ZOA and its resultant
ineffectiveness in moving the rib cage outwardly. Urmey/De Troyer/Kelly/Loring45 The abdominal
paradox will most likely be identified in these patients in sitting and ... Show more content on

But muscles that attach to the rib cage should also be assessed for proper length. The pectoralis major
attaches to the superior 6 costal cartilages. If there is limitation in horizontal abduction, one can
assume that there will be resultant tightness in the rib mobility where the muscle attaches. If there is
latissimus or intercostal tightness, there may be a limitation in shoulder flexion. Length of the anterior
neck musculature can be assessed during exhalation. The sternum should be able to descend fully

Grendel s Evil Forces In The Epic Poem Beowulf
In the story of Beowulf, an epic poem, there has to be an evil force, in this case, Grendel. Grendel was
the scariest, most evil and violent monster you could come across. Grendel killed for joy, no man
would dare stand in his way. A monster punished and doomed by God himself. Beowulf was christian
and fought for the right reasons, where Grendel was a coward and killed upon fate.
Grendel has some scary features to him. He s the most terrifying of all monsters, he had huge claws
and fangs that could rip apart any man, and break through any bone. He was monster born, in a cave,
under a boiling lake. Grendel is known as the Shadow of Death because Grendel only hunted at night,
when the guards were asleep. Quoted from line 15 19 an example of

Captain Aarfy Symbolism In Catch 22
In Joseph Heller s Catch 22, many characters are traumatized because they are all involved in an
ongoing war, some of the characters go on to do horrible things, and many men simply go insane.
However, there is one character that is the worst of them all Heller s character Captain Aarfy
Aardvark: suffering from traumatic experiences and the loss of a woman s touch, Aarfy goes on to do
the worst thing imaginable, he rapes a woman and then kills her because it is his most condescending
manner (Heller 427). Heller ultimately shows how a traumatic situation can lead a terrible person to
do dreadful actions.
First, Heller states that Aarfy is a stout navigator in Captain Yossarian s B 25. Aarfy is said to have a
terrible sense of direction and is always getting lost during his missions. Aarfy is also known to be
oblivious to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
First, Heller writes [he] watched the blood drain from Aarfy s face (Heller 428), informing that Aarfy
had to make another physical contact with the body of the Italian girl any point in time during or after
he rapes her, and that massive amounts of blood came out of the girl s body and somehow traveled
onto Aarfy s face. Then, Heller mentions that the police are coming to apprehend Aarfy for his actions.
Heller shows how fast and loud the police sirens are approaching their location by writing [an]
onrushing cacophony of overwhelming sound that seemed to crash into the room around [...] from
every side. (Heller 428) This creates an intense feeling because police sirens are heard from a mile
way and to imagine police cars approaching a murderer give an extreme sense of anticipation. Heller
uses hyperbolism to show what aarfy is capable of doing to a human body, although Heller does not
mention what his character does to make the Italian girl bleed, I know Heller purposely included those
details to show how Aarfy s mental

Xeroderma Pigmentosum Genetic Disorder
Name of disorder
To be given the diagnosis of Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP) would be a life changing moment for the
individual, along with the family. This genetic disorder, which is also known as Kaposi Disease,
Xeroderma Pigmentosum, Variant Type XP V and XP, is a rare genetic disorder. This disorder causes
extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) light, it was first described in 1874 by Hebra and Kaposi. The
diagnosis comes at a very early age of life with the symptoms including excessive freckling and skin
blistering occurring after exposure to the sun; sometimes so severe that the burns can be mistaken for
child abuse or neglect. To understand the disease and the complications associated are the only
successful way of treating this disease.
Chromosomal Location Scientist findings have illustrated that Xeroderma Pigmentosum is an
autosomal recessive disease; this means the individual has inherited two copies of the mutated gene,
one from the father and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This gene codes for an enzyme that enables error free cellular replication by bypassing UV induced
damage, thymine dimers. Individuals with XP, that have the variant type of XP, have mutations on this
hRAD30 gene which results in impaired replication of UV damaged DNA and have a higher chance of
getting diagnosed with UV induced skin cancers.
Frequency of occurrence
Xeroderma Pigmentosum appears to affects females and males in the equal amounts. The onset of
symptoms usually occurs immediately after birth or up to the next 3 years. XP affects about 1 in
100,000 individuals worldwide and about 1 in 250,000 in the United States. This disease is most
relevant in Japan affecting about 1 in 22,000, North Africa and the Middle East.
Less than 40% of patients that are diagnosed with Xeroderma Pigmentosum survive beyond the age of
20. Individuals that have a milder form may survive beyond middle

Open Houses Misconceptions
Today we will look at the most common misconceptions and myths in the world of real estate and
provide a logical valid explanation for these.
Open houses Sell houses. A lot of homeowners cling to the belief that by scheduling an open house on
their property, it will attract potential buyers but according to the National Association of Realtors in
2014 alone, only 9% of potential buyers found their home through Open Housing. Most people
nowadays use the internet for their initial home search since it is a lot more convenient time wise.
More often than not, open houses are being used by agents who wants to fish for new potential clients.
You can save money by selling your home yourself or FSBO ( For Sale By Owner). Most
homeowners think that since they will not be paying for any agent commission they will be saving
more, but what you are actually saving on is time, energy and peace of mind that your property is in
good hands. The house might not sell as son as possible without the help of an agent, there are other
factors involved such as is the pricing of the property just right? and is the seller able to negotiate a
fair price for both parties? ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The best thing to do is the other way around its a great way of setting your own expectations as to
what kind of house you can afford. So get pre approved for a loan first and with a help of an agent,

The Scarf Model Of Behavior
In today s interconnected world the ability to collaborate with other people is increasingly important
part. In order to understand how to better manage bigger groups and improve co operation, it s
important to understand what drives social behaviour.
In this guide, we ll examine one model that explains this behaviour, called the SCARF model. Will
explain the basics behind the theory, the way it explains the approach and avoid responses and how
you can use it to decrease threats and increase the sense of reward.
What is the SCARF model?
Before we start looking deeper into how the SCARF model can be used for collaborating and
influencing people, it s a helpful to look at some of the basics of the theory.
The SCARF model of behaviour is a relatively new theory, having first been published in 2008 by
David Rock. The word SCARF is an acronym, which stands for:
Status the relative importance to others.
Certainty the ability to predict future.
Autonomy the sense of control over events.
Relatedness the sense of safety with others.
Fairness the perception of fair exchanges.
The basic premise of the SCARF model is the assumption that brain makes us behave in certain ways,
which are to minimise threats and maximise rewards. While the brain takes a threat and reward
approach to primary needs, such as food and water, the theory argues this same also happens with
social needs.
In essence, a positive emotion or reward creates a stimulus that makes people act,

Airline industry is the major engine powering the globalization of businesses and services. Prior to
1970 s, the airline industry was mainly owned and controlled by the governments in different
countries. There was no free market competition as travelers have to make do with the services and
prices available to them from the few airlines. But with the deregulation of the airline industry that
swept across the world after 1970, entry barriers were lowered allowing new start up of many airline
companies, thus engendering competition in the airlines industry. This has led to competitions in
various fronts, especially in prices and services provided onboard the flight. This competition has led
to formulation of various business modules and the re strategizing of the already existing and new
start up companies, in order for them to survive the new business environment. The operating
environment of the airline industry continues to evolve, thereby presenting a significant challenge for
the survival of the industry. Different models and frameworks have been formulated for analyzing the
operating environment of various industries. In analyzing the operating environment, it is vital to
indentify the different factors that might affect the organization cost, supply and demand. PEST
(Political, Economical, Social and Technological) is one of the framework used for analyzing the
macro environment affecting organizations in a

Designing Pairwise Testing Tool, Constraints, Result And...
In the earlier chapter, a detail explanation of CBPTT development was discussed including the flow,
implementation, result and discussion of experiments conducted. This chapter concluded the research
work on CBPTT with additional features that can be applied to CBPTT in the future.
5.2 Conclusion
Since reliability issues have become one of the most concern issues in software development.
However by conducting software testing, it does not ensure free defect failure software but it can
increase the reliability of a software product. Although it is necessary to test the software thoroughly,
it is impossible to have exhaustive testing. This is the reason interaction testing have been the most
used testing. Especially pairwise testing which use two way interactions to find software defect. This
had become the driven force for this research. The aim of this research was to develop pairwise testing
tool, Constraints Based Pairwise Testing Tool (CBPTT), that can conduct pairwise testing with
constraints supports. Constraints are list of limitations and impossible combinations that can present in
a software system. CBPTT was developed to eliminate these constraints and further reduced the
resulted test cases. Survey on existing tool was conducted to help CBPTT implementation. The result
of the survey was discussed in literature review chapter. The result from the survey included the
available features of existing system that also support pairwise testing and constraints

This research article was published in the journal of Alzheimer s disease and Parkinsonism on August
26th 2013, volume 3, issue 2. Dr.Perea et al. conducted the study at department of neurology,
Alzheimer s Research Disease Center, department of Psychology, Bioengineering program department
of engineering, at University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, KS, USA. The big question
of this study is to investigate white matter differences to give better understanding of
neurodegenerative disease such as Alzheimer s disease and Parkinson s disease. It asks specifically
whether individuals with Parkinson s disease dementia will show significant white matter
deterioration when compared to healthy non demented control individuals. The hypothesis of this
study states that cognitive decline and impaired motor control in Parkinson s disease dementia (PDD)
will greatly show deterioration in white matter as compared to groups of healthy individuals control
group (CON), Alzheimer s disease group, and Parkinson s disease group (Perea et al. 2013). It was
known before through many scientific studies that white matter differences are actually associated
with neurodegenerative diseases. Researches few decades ago studied white matter differences using
diffusion tensor imaging (DTI); which measures the orientation and direction of water molecules in
neural tissue and the integrity of white matter fibers (Perea et al. 2013). One example was mentioned
in the article, reported a

The First Failure Of The Settlement Of Roanoke Colony
It started in 1583. Sir Humphrey Gilbert organized the enterprise. He ended up drowning while
attempting to colonize St. John s, Newfoundland. Sir Walter Raleigh, his half brother, was chosen to
take over. On March 25, 1584, Raleigh was granted a charter by Queen Elizabeth I to colonize in
North America. The first colony was established in 1584 on Roanoke Island, what is now Dare
County, North Carolina, but over the course of two years they went through some hardships. They
thought the native village of Aquascogoc stole a silver cup, and thus attacked the village. They
remained anyway, even with the lack of food, and some men went back to England to grab more
troops and supplies. In the meantime, from attacking the native village, the colonists were attacked,
but able to repel said attack. When Sir Francis Drake stopped by on the way back and volunteered to
take the colonists back to England, they agreed, leaving behind a couple men to protect Raleigh s
claim to Roanoke. Thus was the first failure of the settlement of Roanoke. ... Show more content on

Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) this service is mainly used by companies to cut the cost of buying

maintained by the company that rents them [1]. The second category is Software as a Service (SaaS)
this service deals with providing software which is usually rented, this allows users to have multiple

These perpetrators covered their trail using bogus names to create the Amazon account, while they had
the facility to hack into Amazon s servers; they were directly aiming for the PlayStation Network [4].
According to nist.gov there is no way of knowing where the exact location of a user/criminal the
closest an investigator might be able to get to them is the datacenter [5]. The possible steps
investigators might have taken for this crime begins with PSN s website source files where they
realized the cloud provider may have played a major role in this crime [6]. The prosecutor would then
legally request for all of its data from Amazon s EC2 servers, where a search warrant will be issued to
them [6]. They would then compare data from PSN and EC2 where they will investigate all the links
found [6]. This is possibly where investigators would have found the perpetrator s fake account [4].
The investigators hit a brick wall with this investigation because of the main problem with cloud
computing which is the ability to pin point a location of the perpetrator. Some of the tools used in
Cloud forensics in this particular case will

Human Connection With The World
Human Connection with the World
The Nineteenth Century was a period of great economic, social and environmental change. During this
period, great poets came forward to make people aware of the surrounding beauty of nature and make
them aware of how they had affected the environment. William Wordsworth and Gerard Manley
Hopkins were two of the poets during the Nineteenth century who were known for being leading
nature poets in British literary history. The poem The World is Too Much with Us by William
Wordsworth written during the Romantic Era is very similar to the Victorian poem God s Grandeur by
Gerard Manley Hopkins. Thus, both poems could be compared as they have similar themes of society
and nature. Wordsworth and Hopkins express ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
His poem is an overall statement on the state of humanity s relationship with God or lack of
relationship. Hopkins tone seemed to be sorrowful about the separation from nature, but joyful about
the potential for resolution.
The World is Too Much With Us and God s Grandeur both begin with the phrase The World. Both the
poets Hopkins s and Wordsworth s places more importance on the term world, because that signifies
to the mankind and its materialism. The mankind is occupied in this world with the material life and
the duties, because of which both the poets do not seem to believe the world as simple where the
humanity lives. Wordsworth starts his poem for getting the attention of the reader, The world is too
much with us; late and soon (1), that points directly to the mankind. He discusses that being humans,
we have spent our entire lives focusing on consumerism. The mankind failure to express his feeling
towards nature as he is just worrying about the money throughout the life makes the poet annoyed.
The Hopkins poem, God s Grandeur seemed to be start by saying The world is charged with the
grandeur of God that means the world is the entire of God s Medium. God has made this beautiful
nature, and the glory travels through the air, but the human being has lost the ability to realize.

Contract Cancellation Due to Breach of Contract Contract Cancellation due to a Breach of Contract Submitted by Victoria Wyatt Prepared for Dr. Maverick Acquisition Law Spring 07 18 May 2007 CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORSHIP: I certify that I am the author. I have cited all sources from which I used data, ideas, or words, either quoted directly or paraphrased. I also certify that this paper was prepared by me specifically for this course. ______________________________________________ Signature Date Overview There are many ways to terminate the obligations of a contract. Most often, parties conclude their contract obligations by performing them. However, sometimes problems arise and parties cannot or will not complete their obligations under ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Breach of Contract A breach of contract is a legal concept in which a binding agreement or bargained for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties to the contract, (Breach, 2007). A breach of contract can occur when one party does not perform as he or she promised; when one party does something that makes it impossible for the other party to perform the duties under the contract; or when one party makes it clear that he or she does not intend to perform the contract duties, (Bennett, 2007). For example, if Company B terminated its agreement with Company A in order to make a larger profit, that would be a breach of contract. It would also be a breach of contract if Company B fulfilled Company C s order first and was late meeting the terms of its contract with Company A. Another example of a breach of contract would be if Company A was supposed to make a deposit and Company B was planning to use the deposit to purchase the computer equipment, and the check bounced. In that situation, Company A s breach would make it impossible for Company B to perform its contract obligations. As stated previously, if one party fails to act as promised, and the other ... • 3. Customer Service and Relationship Marketing Customer Service Customer service is an art and a science and it is something that many firms do not do well, let alone perfect. Excellent customer service is defined by being pleasant with the customer and providing them with assistance regarding just about anything and everything that they require and need relative to the service or good that they are purchasing. A customer is any buyer or even potential buyer of the good or service being and the customers need and/or expect that the good or service be reasonably price and be delivered as promised based on what is advertised and/or what is commonly accepted and industry standard about the good or service. The best way to build a customer focused strategy is to construct a framework and process that is as common sense and stream lined as possible so that it addresses the ongoing concerns of the business while at the same time reasonably helping and assisting the customers get what they need out of the good or service. Going above and beyond what the customer requires is always a plus and will engender good will and return visits by the customer, more often than not (Swinburn, 2006)(Sheldrake, 1998)(Shaw Ivins, 2005). Core Elements of Service Process There are several major elements of the service process. These elements are strong leadership, effective complaint handling, good training, good support for internal and external customers and having a strong strategy that is definitively based on whether a good or service ... • 4. Similarities Between Lost Of Motion And Lost In Motion When it comes to speaking or performing in front of an audience, everyone has their own ways of handling the situation, even if they don t have a fear of a big audience. Some people imagine their audience naked and some imagine themselves somewhere else. This trick to performing is expressed in both Lost in Motion and Lost in Motion 2 These short films depict two professional dancers performing breath taking moves, all while in perfect elegance. These two short films have both similarities and differences. The comparison of these films can be best categorized by its setting, its mood, and its music As stated in the introduction, both people in the Lost in Motion videos are both professional dancers. When the two dance, they seem to be alone in their thoughts. In Lost in Motion , the male dancer is performing his routine backstage behind the curtain, he is alone both in his mind and outside of it as well. The area where he is dancing is pitch black with blue lines complementing each strong movement. After he finishes his routine, he proceeds to enter onto the stage in front of the audience. In Lost in Motion 2 , the female dancer is performing in front of a live audience, however in her mind she is alone. In her mind, she is dancing on a giant floating rock structure in an ominous place filled with storms. While in this place, she dances on the edge, fearlessly. After her performance, she then proceeds to enter backstage. The settings of both short films contribute ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 5. How The Grinch Stole Christmas Research Paper Dr. Seuss, written many books such as Green Eggs and Ham and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, has portrayed many morals that can be understood. My favorite Dr. Seuss book is How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It is my favorite book because it tells a tale about how the mischievous Grinch (who hates Christmas) plots to steal Christmas from the Whos. At the end of the book the Grinch realizes that there is more to Christmas then presents. It is also my favorite book because it teaches me that you don t need presents to celebrate Christmas. You can still celebrate Christmas with or without presents. My favorite character from any Dr. Seuss book is Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She is my favorite character because she became friends ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. Production Of The Automotive Industry Selected Review of Literature: Lean Manufacturing in Automotive Industry The automotive industry continues to grow every day. Companies are always coming out with new technology for cars to better their product. In order for these companies to keep a competitive advantage they most implement different types of manufacturing processes. One of these manufacturing processes is lean manufacturing. Sundar, Balaji and Satheesh have done research on lean manufacturing, and they define it as the elimination of waste by determining value added activities and non value added activities. Non value added activities consist of transportation, inventory, motion waiting, overproduction, over processing, and defects (2014). Elmoselhy has found multiple tools to be used to implement lean manufacturing. Some of these tools are: 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Single Minute Exchange Die, Kaizen, and Autonomation. This list does not include all of the possible ways to implement lean manufacturing, but gives a brief introduction to a couple. The 5S stands for Sorting, Setting, Shining, Standardizing, and Sustaining (2013). This paper will discuss one of the five S s, which will be standardizing. Also, this paper will also go into detail about how an automotive manufacturing company uses Single Minute Exchange Die, and some other aspects of lean manufacturing such as visual control and environmental management. Because lean manufacturing can be implemented in many different ways this paper ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 7. The Oscar Whiteness Machine, By Richard Brody The Oscar Whiteness Machine, written by Richard Brody, was published in the online The New Yorker January 21st, 2016. The author has written for the New Yorker since 1999 and has been one of their white movie critics, one of the subjects of this article, since 2005. In the Article Brody takes the stance of a social justice warrior, proclaiming war on all those complicit in the disparity between white and black; especially in the film arena. His subject changes with paragraphs, movie critics, Oscar nominees and watchers, readers of the article, and anyone discriminatory. The Oscar Whiteness Machine is a mix of genres but it gets its main point across, black people have been discriminated against in the Oscars, and in life, and the film business plays a role in the suppression of black culture. We honor the best and whitest. Neil Patrick Harris s opening line at the Oscars in 2015 does a good job at pointing out one of the flaws of the award show that Richard Brody so passionately writes about. The article, while aimed at the Oscars, however, encompasses a wider issue. According to Brody this issue is the whiting out of movies about black experience. and looking at the past two years of nominations and winners, I wouldn t say he s wrong (Brody 1). Brody uses logos to point out the overwhelming evidence of the best movies by black filmmakers have gone utterly unnoticed by the Academy (Brody 2). • 8. Persuasive Essay On Amazon Grocery Business One of the most annoying things in the world is going shopping. It s not like getting new stuff is a complete nightmare, it s just the part where you have to interact with people, deal with lines, look at prices, figure out how much money you have, and so on. That stuff really gets me. What s even worse that shopping is grocery shopping. If you go to a grocery store on a weekend, you might as well take a Xanax before you walk in the door. Nothing makes me want to scream like a old people standing in the way of an entire aisle and then looking at you like you re doing something wrong. Thankfully, the go to place for pretty much everything besides groceries is getting into the grocery business. According to The Wall Street Journal, Amazon will soon start rolling out its own private label brands for non perishable items like baby food, tea, coffee, spices, and non perishables like laundry detergent. So, it s not like you are going to order milk and bacon from Amazon. Although, that would be amazing. amazon1 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Amazon already sells private label goods under its Amazon Basics line, but it has never offered non perishable items under it before. This looks like it could be an up hill battle for its private label when you look at the history. In 2014, Amazon had to recall its Element brand diapers because of a design flaw. Selling food online and enduring a recall could be a huge hit to the entire idea. If the idea to sell groceries turns out to be a success, I think I will only have to go to the store on my corner to get perishable goods, then leave the rest of it to ... • 10. Lao Tzu Evil The concepts of good and evil exist within every society therefore there must exist some method of instruction about the path to goodness. Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching, who defines good as having faith in the Tao to better the world and oneself, and Dante, who wrote The Divine Comedy and defines good as faith the way of heaven and hell and in the punishments of sinners, take very different approaches to defining the path to virtuousness. Lao Tzu defines what is good and focuses on the reward of achieving that goodness, while Dante defines the good by exemplifying the bad to inspire fear through the prospect of punishment. In the model of good versus evil one can focus on achieving good or avoiding evil by setting an example that appeals to peoples interest in bettering their own lives or in bettering their society. The good as defined by Lao Tzu can be more effectively and universally achieved through a system of reward that defines the good such as is done in the Tao Te Ching rather than using a system of punishment that defines good by exemplifying the bad through the sinners as Dante does. While both texts appeal to self interest in their teaching of how attain virtue, Lao Tzu widens his argument to consider the desire of people to better their society as well as themselves which is more accurate to the nature of people. Dante suggests that the natural empathy of humans is hindering and must be eliminated, but that view goes against human instinct as it is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Source Reduction Goal How it supports the source reduction goal (All explanations of how principles support source reduction and the resulting benefits to human and environmental health are thoroughly explained many with examples and evidence of research) Preventing waste is the most effective way to a greener and cleaner environment as it reduces or eliminates the existence of waste right from the source. Waste management is already a huge issue in our world and if we approach waste management with prevention we would leave no complications in terms of treating, disposing or controlling it. Less waste means less hazards to the environment and to the public health which is the aim of green chemistry. Waste production is inevitable in the industries that exist in ... By lowering the temperature of the reaction and altering the pressure used they reduce energy. Ideally, they can be used indefinitely meaning that no product is going to waste, this means that our environment and health would be benefited greatly due to the absence of waste. Unlike stoichiometric reagents, catalysts do not generate waste, give more control on reaction such as reducing unwanted side products and can carry out a reaction more than once, increasing efficiency of product.. Protagonist In The Storm What Makes a Protagonist A protagonist is a literary device used to develop a story: the story revolves around the struggle of the protagonist who may undergo a change, usually at the climax (Literary Devices). Using this definition, deciding the protagonist ought to be straightforward; however, if the story follows many characters who undergo some change at the climax of the story, then deciding who the protagonist is will be a bit more complicated. In the story Sweat, Delia can easily be labelled as the protagonist: the story, for the most part, follows her life as she tries to cope with a loveless marriage. She does undergo a change, twice in fact, when she decides not to put up with her husband s abuse, anymore, and when she decides not to help him when he is bitten by a rattlesnake. In The Storm, however, deciding the protagonist is a little more murky. The story focuses on multiple characters and two of the characters undergo a struggle and a change. Adam Smith and was a great 19th century philosopher whose famous analytical work on sympathy, The Theory of Moral Sentiments , continues to be the source of much contemporary speculation and debate. To offer a general viewpoint of the Smithian model of sympathy, the term to sympathize means to feel and to be able to relate to the pain and the suffering of others but only to a certain extent. The ideas of sympathy presented in the Smithian model play a significant role in supporting voice in prominent works by offering a stage on which the narrator can persuade and provoke his targeted audience. One notable work which possesses this structure is Wordsworth s Old Man Traveling (1798). The poem Old Man Traveling is a metaphor that creates sympathy by presenting the narration through a paradoxical loudspeaker: a man appears serene and nonchalant while journeying with the burden of a personal tragedy. The work incorporates and presents the strengths and weaknesses of the Smithian model to varying degrees. In order to evoke sympathy in the reader, Wordsworth s narrator paints his subject as an enduring hero , creates a contrast in feelings of the man and of those around him, and showcases the incongruences between the man s reactions to his contemporary dilemma. But with the deregulation of the airline industry that swept across the world after 1970, entry barriers were lowered allowing new start up of many airline companies, thus engendering competition in the airlines industry. This has led to competitions in various fronts, especially in prices and services provided onboard the flight. In the earlier chapter, a detail explanation of CBPTT development was discussed including the flow, implementation, result and discussion of experiments conducted. This chapter concluded the research work on CBPTT with additional features that can be applied to CBPTT in the future. 5.2 Conclusion Since reliability issues have become one of the most concern issues in software development. However by conducting software testing, it does not ensure free defect failure software but it can increase the reliability of a software product. Although it is necessary to test the software thoroughly, it is impossible to have exhaustive testing. This is the reason interaction testing have been the most used testing. Especially pairwise testing which use two way interactions to find software defect. This had become the driven force for this research. The aim of this research was to develop pairwise testing tool, Constraints Based Pairwise Testing Tool (CBPTT), that can conduct pairwise testing with constraints supports. Constraints are list of limitations and impossible combinations that can present in a software system. CBPTT was developed to eliminate these constraints and further reduced the resulted test cases. The hackers used rented servers from Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) who offers public server network once inside the network they attacked PSN since it was also linked with Amazon EC2[4]. These perpetrators covered their trail using bogus names to create the Amazon account, while they had the facility to hack into Amazon s servers; they were directly aiming for the PlayStation Network [4]. According to nist.gov there is no way of knowing where the exact location of a user/criminal the closest an investigator might be able to get to them is the datacenter [5]. The possible steps investigators might have taken for this crime begins with PSN s website source files where they realized the cloud provider may have played a major role in this crime [6]. The prosecutor would then legally request for all of its data from Amazon s EC2 servers, where a search warrant will be issued to them [6]. They would then compare data from PSN and EC2 where they will investigate all the links found [6]. This is possibly where investigators would have found the perpetrator s fake account [4]. The investigators hit a brick wall with this investigation because of the main problem with cloud computing which is the ability to pin point a location of the perpetrator. Some of the tools used in Cloud forensics in this particular case will ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
