The term work will constitute 75% of the final grade. A minimum of 50% of graded term work
must be completed in class. Students will read 8 10 selections and write a minimum of 2500

Negative attitudes and focuses only conjure up similar emotions and attitudes. Similarly, technology
and the social practices continue to creep from society into the fire stations threatening to divide
teams. In today s fire service, team building and motivation are necessary to maximize department
operations. This week s presentation focused on the impact of such activities as to how they benefit,
improve, and are used in fire departments. The three presentations that I reviewed specifically
covered one of the three aspects, while bringing up the remaining. The three presentations I

Such social inequities are not new, in fact, for a long time oppression, discrimination and more has
built blockages for individuals who are not socially accepted (Chung Bemak, 2011). As social
injustice spreads into the light so does the relationship between power and social justice (Chung
Bemak, 2011). Practitioners and advocates spread their awareness on how such power can feed into
social injustice.
Correlation between Power and Social Justice
People who hold a position of power, such as Judges in the family court system have and can
continue to perpetuate social injustice (Chung Bemak, 2011). Such perpetuator of social injustice
can be unintentionally or intentional due to the lack of awareness of certain groups such as single
fathers, fathers who struggle with mental illness, fathers who are gay and more (Chung Bemak,
2011). Judges in the family court system hold a great deal of power, such power has destroyed
relationships with children and families due to Judges lacking awareness on the importance of
fatherhood. Chung Bemak (2011) has expressed that people who hold positions in power and
privilege, such as Judges, have and may continue to disregard people who are less powerful, such as
fathers. At times, disregarding social groups can contribute to unfair treatment which can result in

The Causal Fungus Of Guava Scabby In El Beheira Governorate
Characterization and Control of Pestalotiopsis sp the Causal Fungus of Guava Scabby Canker in
EL Beheira Governorate, Egypt.
ABSTRACT
During 2013 2014 growing seasons, forty three isolates of Pestalotiopsis spp were recovered
from guava leaves and fruits showed scab symptoms from different regions in EL Beheira
governorate. Five Pestalotiopsis species were recognized according to the morphological
characteristics of fungal colony (Colony color, Size and number of acervulii) and conidia
(Length, Width, and Color of median cells, Length and the number of apical and basal
appendages); they were P. psidii, P. microspora, P. clavispora, P. neglecta and Pestalotiosis sp. All
the isolates recovered were pathogenic to the cv. Balady of guava fruits. However, P.psidii isolates
were the most highly pathogenic followed by P. neglecta, P. clavispora, P. microspora and
Pestalotiopsis sp, respectively. RAPD PCR analysis using five random oligonucleotide primers
revealed DNA fingerprints and considerable variations were revealed with primers tested. Bar
marker showed a common band for all Pestalotiopsis isolates and species at 500bp, while BAQ,
18 and A9B4 exhibited banding pattern similar for all isolates of the same species which were
different from that of the other species. Scab disease control of infected fruits by chitosan as s
natural product was tested. The in vitro 2.5% chitosan application significantly inhibited the growth
of Pestalotiopsis spp tested by 86.53% on agar plates.
