6. Upcoming Concrete Pours
• Several concrete pours will be conducted
between May and June 2020 at the Main
and Tertiary entrances
• The concrete will form the walls and slabs
of the Tertiary Entrance and Station Box
beneath Eglinton Ave
• Concrete pumps will be placed within work
zones and concrete trucks will queue in
traffic tapers before entering the work
zone; 10+ concrete trucks per hour
• Concrete pours will begin as early as 5:00
a.m. and last for five (5) or more hours
• Pours may be rescheduled due to inclement
weather

7. Tower Crane Installation
• As early as May 6, a tower crane will be installed at the Tertiary Entrance

• The crane will be used to lift equipment and material in-and-out of the
station box and shaft
• While the crane is installed, the following traffic changes will be in effect:
– Chaplin Cres will be closed b/w Eglinton Ave and Russell Hill Rd; emergency
service vehicles excepted
– The Chaplin-Russell Hill laneway will be closed; local access from east end of
laneway
– Parking on Russell Hill Rd will be prohibited to make way for TTC detour
• TTC bus route #14 Glencairn will detour on Russell Hill Rd
