Inside Out Theory
The origin of the eukaryotic cell is a concept that is widely debated in the world of science. In 1970,
Lynn Margulis proposed the endosymbiotic theory. More recently, Baum and Baum (2014) came out
with the Inside out theory for the origin of the eukaryotic cell. They refer to the endosymbiosis theory
as the Outside in theory. These two models propose that the eukaryotic cell arose from prokaryotic
origins. Only one of these theories is more parsimonious.
In the endosymbiosis theory, Lynn Margulis proposed the origin and evolution of the mitochondrion
and the chloroplast, two eukaryotic organelles (Bergstrom and Dugatkin, 2016). She hypothesized that
these two organelles were not originally internal components of a eukaryotic ancestor, ... Show more

The inside out theory is more parsimonious than the outside in theory in that it can explain eukaryotic
cell organization by the formation of extracellular blebs that enveloped the proto mitochondria. This
theory describes the whole process of eukaryotic cell formation including the formation of a nucleus
and ER. The endosymbiosis theory lacks the explanation for the formation of any of the other
organelles. It only describes that bacteria was phagocytized and became the membrane bound
organelles seen today. The endosymbiosis theory is not continuous; it makes a lot of jumps in the
formation of the eukaryotic cell in its

Pan-American Rural Health
Despite huge waves of urbanization in recent years, 120 million individuals, 20% of Latin America s
population, still reside in rural areas (PRB, 2014). Many of these people live in remote, mountain or
rainforest communities in the Andes Mountains or the Amazon Basin and typically live agrarian
lifestyles. However, the definition of what constitutes a rural area verses an urban area varies between
countries. For example, Venezuela defines an urban area as a population center with more than 1,000
inhabitants while Argentina defines an urban area as a center with more than 2,000 inhabitants, and
Peru considers any center with more than 100 dwellings as urban (United Nations, 2005). Regardless
of the definition, rural populations in the region ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Additionally, there are many other contributing factors to poor health in rural areas beyond direct
health care impact. The Pan American Health Organization states that in 2015, 97% of urban Latin
Americans compared to only 84% of rural Latin Americans had access to an improved drinking water
source, meaning water protected from outside contamination, especially concerning fecal matter.
Additionally, regarding improved sanitation, when excrement is sufficiently separated from human
contact, 88% of urban populations had access while only 63% of rural populations had the same. Fifty
one percent of rural citizens still use solid fuels, such as wood, dung, or charcoal, for cooking and
heating their homes compared to just 8% of urbanites. The indoor air pollution from these fuels put
users at increased risk of many respiratory diseases and other health complications (PAHO, 2016).
Furthermore, rural cultures often value self sufficiency and independence, leading to less utilization of
available health care services (Strasser, 2003). Lower levels of education compound this issue as
people may have a poor understanding of what resources are available as well as how and when to use
them. These factors combine to put rural residents at higher risk for many health complications and
lower the overall health status of the

Flint Cragleys Adventure
Get Ready to narrate, Brah! Monzo exclaimed. Monzo turned on the camera. Cragley HO! for all of
you watching Flint Cragley, Crag trotter on Crag vision. Flint Cragley read his legendary phrase. This
week we will be exploring the Flora caves just south of The Downtown of Crag. Where the dangerous
Flora King lives. Flint spoke in the primitive microphone. This week he was wearing his leopard skin
skirt (Like his normal clothes. After all, he does live his life like a normal Cragnon.) Here we go!
Were are going behind the scenes of the recent Crag Nappings. Flint walked in with his cameraman
Hornfels and his Microphone guy, Monzo Are you sure you want to go in there, Brah? Hornfels asked.
Yeah, Hornfels right, Brah. Monzo says. It looks kind of like the Flora King, Brah. Hornfels spoke
with confidence. But with my power and strength I will get through without pain! Flint exclaimed.
CUT! Flint Ended the video. Yucky! This place is the gross! Flint said to the crew. The Crags will like
this, Brah, Do it! Hornfels said. Yeah, If you fake this one, it will be, like, your 200,000,000,000th
one! Monzo exclaimed. Fine, I guess I will. Flint knew the danger but he wanted to make the Cragnon
race happy, his ratings would go down if he didn t. That means that he will flop and his workers would
get more money than him. Job of Monzo lame. Monzo cried. Mommy said not to apply for this job,
she said Its the worst job in Crag. Monzo cried even harder.

How Technology Has Changed Today s Generation
Technology has developed rapidly in today s generation. Physical engagement lessens as technology
progresses. The internet has become one powerful resource in today s generation. Although, the
internet is a helpful resource we must also take into consideration that not everything that is posted on
the internet is true. Many websites may post, and may state some important information that may be
intriguing which can be mistaken to be reliable. However, we must acknowledge if the website is a
reliable source by viewing its content. Recently in a community college in Oregon a shooting took
into place, and this is not the first time a mass shooting that has occurred. After the mass shooting the
President instantly responds to come out to speak to the American people. As I further wanted to
investigate on Obamas gun control speech I research the topic, and approach a site The ONION
America s Finest News Source they give a recap on Obamas speech, and they had no cites to their
sources, no author is given, they have no proof of evidence. I immediately evaluated this site to be
unreliable. When researching on the internet ask yourself if the website is stating true facts if so do
they cite their sources. Secondly, does the website introduce who they are? Do they have the
credibility to write about the certain topic? Lastly, take into consideration if they post logical evidence.
The internet is a world outside of reality, and many websites may persuade you to believe their

Sagrada Familia Research Paper
Robin GabagePatricia SchmidtIntroduction of Visual ArtsOctober 8th 2016
Module 7 I feel as if the Falling Water House had a greater impact on todays society. But only for
Western Pennsylvania, growing up in eastern Pennsylvania I never once heard of The Falling Water
House or Frank Lloyd Wright. Not until i came to Pittsburgh and now i have heard about it dozens of
times in the past year, multiple times even this week. Most dramatic I would say is the Sagrada
Familia, it has that gothic beautiful architecture that just gives a sense of uniqueness and wonder. It is
dramatic not only because of its beauty but also because the long time it took to be worked on. I think
most mysterious is hard to choose because neither really scream mysterious ... Show more content on

If i had the opportunity to bring someone to see one i would definitely choose the Sagrada Familia
because it is so unique and gorgeous, and because it is in Barcelona Spain and i would give anything
to go back to Spain especially Barcelona where everything is just beautiful and detailed. But
realistically i would love to take my boyfriend to the Falling Water House, and i have been looking
into it recently. You see pictures on instagram or Facebook of couples going there and taking cute
selfies but i see the beautiful nature behind them, and the architecture sitting above a waterfall. I
would love to be able to go experience it for myself instead of just seeing pictures of it. The Sagrada
Familia definitely caught my attention right off the bat in the video. It has been in construction for
over 133 years and counting. It is so intricate and advanced that it is taking centuries to build and that
is just something that shouldn t be overlooked. You don t hear about that kind of stuff in your history
classes in high school, or even in art history at a vocational high school where you major in graphic
design. Growing up i never once heard of the Sagrada Familia which

Social Classes In The 18th Century
Class distinction was one of the major problems of the 18th century. The class one was coming from,
the reputation of your family was taken into consideration by society.Society was divided into three
classes;upper class which consists of people who had power and authority to control everything with
money, middle class which includes merchants, farmers, shopkeepers and working class which
consists of people who were living under the control of the upper class, usually servants and house
keepers. This hiearchical order based on the worth of the people and wealth brought about some strict
rules. One of these rules was to remind one one s place and to act according to that.Interaction between

Descriptive Essay On Cafe
The Lokal
In my ceaseless visits to new cafes that seem to be sprouting every other day in this tiny island, it is
only natural that I won t like some. But it is also natural to have a favourite one that shines.
That s The Lokal.
This newly opened Aussie inspired café along Neil Road is not your normal stop by dining spot. I was
welcomed by the casual retro interior and comforting natural light shining in from the French
windows, one step into it and I had my heart on sleeve already. The open concept kitchen where one
could see the chefs in action gave off the feeling of authenticity, a good break away from the countless
typical and pretentious cafes that have sprouted in recent years. My first impression of the place
heralded high expectations and true enough, The Lokal was more than extraordinary.
Roast Beef Ciabatta $9
I ordered the Roast Beef Ciabatta and it arrived within 10 minutes, the warmth of the bread instantly
spreading through my fingers at first touch, which was impressive. The dish was a concoction of

was fortunately not gamey, stuffed among perky, fresh watercress and slightly sweet caramelized
onions. Those ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

contrasted the sweetness of the banana bread from its bath in toffee syrup and those perfectly

Biography Of Theodore Bundy Born Theodore
Theodore Bundy born Theodore Robert Cowell was born in Burlington, Vermont to Eleanor Cowell.
He was born on November 24, 1946. She had him when she was still a teeneager and so Ted was
raised believing that she was his sister. His birth father is somewhat confusing on his birth certificate it
has Lloyd Marshall but investigators believe that his real father s name was Jack Worthington. Ted s
mother married Johnnie Bundy who eventually adopted Ted as his son.
Ted Bundy became interested in knives when he was three. One event when he was around this age
was that his mother woke up in the middle of the night to find him holding a very large knife and
standing right next to her bed. Throught elementary school he was described as shy but very smart.
When he was a teenager he was described as a well liked and well known kid. Ted, on the other hand,
would describe himself as not getting along with others and that he chose to be alone most of the time.
He told an interviewer later in life that he liked to pass his free time by reading detective magazines,
crime novels, and true crime documentaries. He enjoyed crime documentaries that displayed very
graphic images. Later while he was incarcerated he claimed that he never read any crime novels of
any sort. Ted enrolled in the University of Washington to study Chinese. He fell in love with a senior
while he was a freshman, her name was Stephanie Brooks. They dated for several months and after
she graduated she broke up with Bundy

Helen Williams recalled that the first few days, the mail was incredible. We got thousands of notes

The seeds of this new system of control, mass incarceration, were planted during the Civil Rights
Movement itself. That was a time when it became clear that the old caste system was crumbling, and a
new one would have to take its place.
In October 1982, President Ronald Reagan announced his administration s War on Drugs. Cloaked in
race neutral language, this so called War on Drugs offered whites opposed to racial reform a unique
opportunity to express their hostility toward blacks and black progress, without being exposed to the
charge of racism. The racist response that Vanessa Williams received and her family faced in 1983 was
clearly overt. When crack cocaine hit the streets in 1985, the media made an effort to sensationalize
the emergence of this new drug in inner city neighborhoods. This media sensationalism effectively
made the construction of prisons the nation s main housing program for the urban poor. By the year
2000, the Clinton Administration s tough on crime policies resulted in the largest increases in federal

Description Of A Man s Voice
We sat on a cheap wooden bench in the security room in the back of Lord and Taylor, our bags lay on
their sides, the contents spilled across the concrete floor. Little white tags hung from the fabric, a few
seams were noticeably ripped along the side ribbing of the clothing. Computer screens encompassed
the room, the surveillance footage rotated intermittently from Camera 1 to Camera 2 to Dressing
Room Camera. The man s voice was barely audible through the wall behind me, as he called my
parents and the authorities. He came back into the room with the woman who had grabbed my arm as
I exited the department store, announcing that the price for all of the products I had stolen totaled to
approximately $1,300 though he hadn t calculated in the damages of the torn clothing where the
security buttons were ripped out. My best friend, better known as my fellow thief, called her mom to
retrieve us. I used the thick silence of that car ride to prepare something mitigating to say to my
mother. When I delicately, respectfully, quietly entered the foyer, my mom sat waiting, drilling me
with questions. As I entered the foyer, my mom, who had been undoubtedly stewing in her own
thoughts as she awaited my arrival, drilled me with questions. Why would you do this? Because it s
fun. Who made you do this? As if I can t make my own decisions and fuck up my life on my own.
How long has this been going on? I told her once before but in reality it had been going on for a while.
WHY? Why not?

improve your life coaching practice dramatically with the following 5 simple actions, which will get
you much further than any life coaching certification can. Although these suggestions are

If you want to be wealthy, do you have positive attitudes about wealth and wealthy people? If you

your objectives.
3. Everything starts internally; seeing outside changes in your life takes time.
4. Be organized and focused. Before you go to bed each night, make a list with all the things you want
to accomplish the next day. Doing this at night gives your brain a chance to work on things in your
sleep. Also, you ll feel much better when you can start the day with a clear objective instead of
spending time trying to figure out what to do.
5. Have goals. Your brain is tremendously good at finding solutions. You can help it out by doing a
good job of outlining and prioritizing your objectives. The simplest way to do this is to write down
your goal and include a deadline. Now your brain knows what to work on and when to have it

With reference to one major international conflict, analyse and assess the geographical impacts of
conflicts on the area (40) A conflict is a disagreement caused by the actual or perceived opposition of
needs, values and interests between people; which can vary in intensity from political non violent
activity, to direct action and violence. When a conflict is created an extensive list of geographical
impacts follow, including social, political, environmental or even international impacts. For centuries
there was no such conflict. In the 19th century the land of Palestine was inhabited by a multicultural
population, approximately 86% Muslim, 10% Christian, and 4% Jewish living in peace. However, in

As a result, Palestinians will lose nearly 18% of their share of the basin s water. The sandy desert soil
tends to absorb water and other pollutants such as sewage easily. This along with the groundwater
remaining fairly close to the surface leads to easy contamination. This combined with an aging, poorly
maintained, and now war damaged sewage system, has led to groundwater pollution, which could
severely affect the lives of many. Secondly, the close relation between the social and environmental
impacts that this Middle Eastern conflict is creating for the citizens of both Palestine and Israel
becomes evident. In 2010, UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported that, almost all of
Gaza s 13,000 families who depend on farming, herding and fishing have suffered damage to their
assets during the recent conflict and many farms have been completely destroyed. Owing to a limited

Assess The Importance Of Feedback In Student Education
Reporting to both students and parents/carers is an important skill and part of being a teacher.
Reporting to students in the form of feedback is a critical element of the learning cycle. Incorporating
a range of effective strategies for providing students with feedback can advance students
understanding and development. Lacing instruction with correctional feedback will result in the
production of new instruction (Hattie Timperley, 2007, p.82). The combination of instruction and
feedback gives students the next step they need to take to develop a deeper understanding. For
feedback to provide any meaning to students it must link to the task at hand and be provided in a
timely manner. Sadler, as cited in Hattie and Timperley (2007, p.82) point out that feedback should
provide students with a stepping stone from what they understand to what is to be understood. The
feedback given to students to bridge the gap between ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Parents/carers are also invested in the development of student education. The aspects of their child s
education that parents/carers are interested in are the progress they are making, their strengths and
weaknesses, their development in comparison to other children and what they can do at home to help
(Cohen et al., as cited in Kivunja, 2015, p.385). It is the teachers responsibility to keep parents/carers
informed and attend to any concerns they may have. In addition to mid year and end of year reports
there are a number of strategies teachers can take to keep parents/carers informed. Readman and Allen
(2013, p.159) have identified a phone call or letter home, or an entry into a student diary that is to be
sighted and signed off by a parent/carer as some effective strategies to report students progress. It is
important for teachers to communicate through these strategies to keep parents/carers aware of their
child s progress and there are no surprises when reports are sent

Fifth Amendment And The Amendment
Fifth Amendment
History:
Once the United States won their independence from the British parliament, the Framers wrote the
Bill of Rights, which were the first 10 amendments in protecting the individual freedoms from being
hurt by the governmental bodies. The cause for this Fifth Amendment was many people were jailed
without even being accused of a crime. They have included the Fifth Amendment on September 5,
1789 and was voted for by 3/4th of the states on December 15, 1791, which describes the five specific
freedoms to American citizens.

Essay on Amazon Deforestation
Danny Hernandez
Dr. Katy Koch
Writing 101: Research Paper
11 March 2010
Amazon Deforestation The Amazon rainforest the largest tropical area in the world, a vast and humid
area where thousands of species of mammals, fish and insects have been unidentified by human; thus
being the largest rainforest in the world, it is also the largest area of deforestation where football fields
after fields are taken down a minute. The Amazon Deforestation being a growing issue amongst
society in this generation can be prominently analyzed from the commodities derived from logging; to
the negativity it can cause the environment as a result of erosion. One of the biggest reasons why
deforestation is such a big issue today is because of the livestock ... Show more content on

Now it makes sense that in order to get a pack of paper, thousands of trees become an everyday use of
humans, and some don t take into account the hurt its causing mother earth for one sheet of paper.
Along with paper plantations, there are also timber and fiber plantations. Mahogany is found
throughout the whole rainforest, and as we all know it is also a very, very nice and expensive piece of
furniture. But no one seems to consider the fact where the lumber comes from. The same trees brought
down and logged are used for its beautiful lumber that today is being used to provide even the fanciest
house with very expensive furniture; therefore being a major cause of deforestation for the same claim
humans have for such beautiful lumber. Lastly, after cattle have soiled the grounds of the area where it
roamed, this land gets turned into fields after fields of cultivation. first a rainforest area is logged for
its valuable lumber, then burned for cattle grazing, and as the land becomes exhausted, plowed up for
crops such as soybeans a good sum up of the process of cultivation by Tim Hirsch from World Watch.
Now you may ask yourself what is cultivated in the Amazon well there are two major types of
cultivation throughout this massive and vast rainforest. One of them is soy fields also a major export
throughout the world, with big fields of soy also comes lots of cultivation equipment. Throughout the

How Does Social Security Help To Underdeveloped Poor...
Picture years down the road, you are trying to get ahead in life, but debt continues to drag you down.
A family to provide for and someone is constantly breathing down your neck to pay your debts. Can
you imagine the sudden relief, of your debt being paid, every hard earned penny being your own, and
finally your family having enough food on the table.
Now lets apply this to underdeveloped poor countries. As the country struggles to get ahead,
international lenders drown them in their overwhelming debt, preventing them from every rising to the
surface.
Thus my first contention is Mercy. Mercy is having compassion or forgiveness shown toward
someone whom it is within one s power to punish or harm. As God has mercy on us, we should have
mercy on others. God commands us to be perfect, holy, and righteous, but these traits are unattainable
and God sovereignly understands, daily pouring His mercy out on us. By the same token, indebted
poor countries cannot live up to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Imagine receiving news that your husband is dead. Three kids to provide for and you just lost your
job. What are you going to do? If you are an American, social security may help to soften the financial
nose dive. The definition of social security according to Merriam Webster is: A program in which the
government provides money to people who are unable to work because they are old, disabled, or
unemployed. This is the highest act of humaneness. How does this apply to our resolution? As an
American, you cannot be against removing the debt of highly indebted countries unless you also
condemn social security. Social security is there to soften the blow of individuals with health
problems, unemployment, and old age. If social security wasn t there, what would these individuals
do? Go into debt, for they simply cannot work. Thus international lenders parallel social security, the
main difference they demand a return

The Consequences Of The Hunger Games
The duration of the Hunger Games kept me on the edge of my seat, hanging off of every single word.
Katniss Everdeen kept her strong yet cold demeanor throughout the novel, which leads me to believe
this played a role earning her success in the arena. The entirety of the book was a smooth flowing plot
with hailstorms of suspense. Suzanna Collins added the perfect amount of obstacles and trust, leading
the novel to become a bestseller. Admitting, Peeta Mellark helped Katniss pull of an oblivious cute
ditzy look which overall led to her victory and ensured her lifeline in the end. The falling action was
absolutely heartstopping as our two lovestruck characters were going to end it all by consuming a
toxic berry known in the book as nightlock. One could practically hear the reader s heart stop as the
gamemaster Claude put an immediate halt to the action, ultimately saving both Peeta and Katniss s
lives. The trickery Claude portrayed to the duo seemed sickening, though the pair made it out
tremendously due to Katniss s deadly nightlock scheme. District twelve was their next destination
after many live broadcasted television interviews after their gruesome time in the games. Even their
journey home consisted of heartbreak and expectancy. In the exposition the audience seeks more into
the tragic loss of Katniss s father, which has struck her cold. The cruel history behind what is known
was the Hunger Games is thoroughly explained, and the reader sees the usual morning routine that

How Arnold Won The West Essay
How Arnold Won the West Critical Analysis In 2004, How Arnold Won the West, was released
featuring a look into the dramatic comics of what the Republican recall in California had become. The
filmmaker of the documentary, Alex Cooke was able to feature the ridiculous acts that came out of the
recall including the different candidates that ranged from actors, self promoters, performance artists to
porn stars. Many people throughout California are pleased with the recall occurring, however, there
are also many people who believe this is nonsense and should have never happened. The main
candidate focused around is Arnold Schwarzenegger who is seen repeating the same information and

With The Debating Game being created on television, the mockery of this event continued to rise and
create almost a joking situation. While watching this film if someone did not know that this really
happened it would almost be seen as a fantasy because so much joking and comics were put into the
recall. The news coverage caused big numbers of people to be in support of this event. In the film it is
quoted that 1.6 million people signed the recall petition because there was so much attention and
coverage towards the ability to make a change (How Arnold Won the West, 2014). There were people
in the film coming to California just to cover this event. The attention received from the media just
shows how important media is in everyday life. For it to be such an important topic to be presented
back then it is hard to imagine what this would be like today. Not only would there be news coverage
on the multitude of news channels today, there would be coverage online, through social networking
sites and even text messages. It is hard to believe that in the world today people can just receive a text
message with new updates about what is occurring in the world or a particular state. This campaign
drew so much media attention and even allowed new advertisements to be created for products that
could be circled around the recall

Garage Door Equipment Failure
Some people use their garage for the purpose of protecting one of their more important assets while
others turn it into a storage room. Whatever you choose to use that room for the door will need to be
fully functional. There are several moving parts on the door and then there is the size to consider if
anything goes wrong with it. Homeowners who follow the recommended maintenance procedures will
find that their door will provide them with years of trouble free service. Eventually, however, a few
repairs will need to be made or the equipment may need to be replaced entirely.
Trouble in paradiseOne of the worst things you can experience is equipment failure, especially the
kind that comes without any warning. The good news is that if you know what to look for you will
know how to address the problem. One of the easiest signs to follow that your garage door needs help
is an unexplained noise. If the door is in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When the door takes longer to carry out its duties and there is no visible sign of an obstruction there
could be a problem. You can usually tell that your door needs attention by the length of time it takes to

serviced.
What s that soundSounds are like symptoms to the garage door technician and they can usually
diagnose what the problem is by the noise it makes. One noise that should be of a particular concern is
a scraping noise. More often than not this will indicate an obstruction or a door that is not settled on
the track. If this problem is allowed to fester for too long it could translate into more serious damages.
One of the consequences of delaying the correction of this problem is your door jumping the tracks

Jane Austen Gender Roles
In Jane Austen s novel, Sense and Sensibility, the emphasis on different dominant values rendered a
foundational perceiving for audiences as an insight of Georgian Era. Her constant establishment of
property and propriety throughout the writing embodies a specified description of daily life in the

Austen s satire on the role of women leads to an introspection of this stereotypical, yet subconscious
behavior that displays a dishonest and duplicitous performance in the novel. Her disapproval of these
female character s immoral actions implied her admiration on propriety, but also vaguely critiques this
kind of idea that encourages incorrect morals. As well as Austen s exposure on gender roles, XXXX s

The Fifth Of May By Francisco De Goya

1786 and the early portion of his career. Goya was considered one of the most crucial Spanish artists
of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Francisco married Josefa Bayeu y Subías.The couple had
only one child; he received the name of Xavier. One of the most recognized paintings was the Third of
May in 1808. The third of May, is one of the greatest testament to the honors of the war ever painted
(Discovering the humanities page. 405) The oil canvas painting is shocking since it shows a terrible
moment in the Spanish war versus French army. The French army invaded the Spanish, putting them
in a line and they started to shoot, not asking questions just shooting. This painting is very
controversial, because in the picture the very first thing that we can see are the terrifying faces of the

The Cohort Of Student Students
Although Americans believe the cohort conception is innovative, yet China has been employing it for
decades. All through China, students start in a school are place into classes and they reside in those
classes in the company of each other for the whole time in that school except higher tests, which allow
them to shift to a more superior group. It is understood in the Chinese structure that this grouping of
students will deal with all of their subjects mutually. While in America, these types of student groups
do not exist into classes. Instead, the thirty students that are together for Math class will be at random
dividing into every of the new subjects for the next period and so on. While the next year, students are
completely mixed up again into dissimilar classes. Rarely, the similar class of students will get two
courses together, like English and history, however this case is rare. In contrast, the Chinese hold the
cohort conception into the university stage as well. Students are kept together for each of their
mandatory courses, the entire time period they are at university.
Chinese education is constructed on what Americans name looping. This method allows the teachers
in the incoming class to track their similar students to the subsequent level of grade and the next. In
America, it is very atypical for teachers to go with their students from one level grade to the
subsequent level. The middle or high level school permits to loop for the whole phase of time, as

The identification does not require interacting with the person. Face recognition involves an

comment about what she believes is in the world of the sands. The imagery in the comment she makes

she believes she can see her grave. Yet, in the same moment she is bringing it back to the real world as

ICAP Class Reflection
For my ICAP unit I wrote my lessons on living and nonliving things and how they adapt to their
environment. My teacher assigned this topic to me. I am glad my teacher assigned me a science topic.
This school focuses a lot on math and language arts so science gets left out a lot so I am glad I could
teach a fun lesson in the classroom. My unit fits in with what they were learning during language arts.
There would be times my lesson ended up being a preview of what they would learn or would be a
review. It worked out well to have them read or hear about different animals and environments then
later do an activity. It helped them learn the facts in many different ways. Something else I had to
consider while writing lessons are what they already learned. Living and nonliving things are
something that is covered in every grade. I had to make sure I was building on what they already
knew. I didn t want to make my lessons something they already knew, but I didn t want to make it so
hard they didn t understand.
My class is very diverse when it comes to the students learning levels. I have some students that have
a really hard time focusing and needs lots of reminders to stay on topic. Because of this, I decided to
make a lot of my lessons group lessons. I would sterically plan my pairs or groups that if there where
students that had a hard time focusing, they would be paired with students that can keep them on track
as well as be kind to them. I know sometimes students that

Why Is Soccer Important
Soccer is a type of game that uses a lot of energy and techniques. It is played and enjoyed on the
poorest playground. People watch and play soccer daily for leisure and for some, it is a profession. It
is a universal game that is being played and enjoyed all over the world. It would be unfair to say that
soccer is only important because of the pleasure derived from playing and watching the game. That
would be incorrect because soccer is the most famous sport due to its exceptional enhancement and
maintenance of quality health, the impressive social bonding which occurs during play and how it
builds up communities.
Of course, soccer is a game played in mud, grass or a flat field. Soccer can also be watched on TV,
play a video game and as a table top game called foosball . Most countries call it football because it is
played by foot. America is the only exception to this because they call it soccer. Two teams with
eleven players play the game for 90 minutes long ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Playing soccer will lead to major achievements in people s lives because of teamwork. In soccer a
player may be homeless yet he finds a family in his team (Dertarczynski,2009). The truth is that there
is a great deal of collaboration in soccer which creates a family for the player. Every player has a role
to perform when playing and they all work hand in hand towards the same goal as a team. In this
situation, players learn how to relate to each other, thereby motivating each other to be better player.
Teammates learn how to trust each other to build important goals as a team. As a matter of fact,
teamwork in soccer will increase people s efficiency both at work and in school. People will learn how
to accept their friends or co worker s weakness and try to help them to succeed in their various tasks.
This will reduce people s weakness s and help them form better problem solving skills towards

  • 2. Inside Out Theory The origin of the eukaryotic cell is a concept that is widely debated in the world of science. In 1970, Lynn Margulis proposed the endosymbiotic theory. More recently, Baum and Baum (2014) came out with the Inside out theory for the origin of the eukaryotic cell. They refer to the endosymbiosis theory as the Outside in theory. These two models propose that the eukaryotic cell arose from prokaryotic origins. Only one of these theories is more parsimonious. In the endosymbiosis theory, Lynn Margulis proposed the origin and evolution of the mitochondrion and the chloroplast, two eukaryotic organelles (Bergstrom and Dugatkin, 2016). She hypothesized that these two organelles were not originally internal components of a eukaryotic ancestor, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The inside out theory is more parsimonious than the outside in theory in that it can explain eukaryotic cell organization by the formation of extracellular blebs that enveloped the proto mitochondria. This theory describes the whole process of eukaryotic cell formation including the formation of a nucleus and ER. The endosymbiosis theory lacks the explanation for the formation of any of the other organelles. It only describes that bacteria was phagocytized and became the membrane bound organelles seen today. The endosymbiosis theory is not continuous; it makes a lot of jumps in the formation of the eukaryotic cell in its ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Pan-American Rural Health Despite huge waves of urbanization in recent years, 120 million individuals, 20% of Latin America s population, still reside in rural areas (PRB, 2014). Many of these people live in remote, mountain or rainforest communities in the Andes Mountains or the Amazon Basin and typically live agrarian lifestyles. However, the definition of what constitutes a rural area verses an urban area varies between countries. For example, Venezuela defines an urban area as a population center with more than 1,000 inhabitants while Argentina defines an urban area as a center with more than 2,000 inhabitants, and Peru considers any center with more than 100 dwellings as urban (United Nations, 2005). Regardless of the definition, rural populations in the region ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Additionally, there are many other contributing factors to poor health in rural areas beyond direct health care impact. The Pan American Health Organization states that in 2015, 97% of urban Latin Americans compared to only 84% of rural Latin Americans had access to an improved drinking water source, meaning water protected from outside contamination, especially concerning fecal matter. Additionally, regarding improved sanitation, when excrement is sufficiently separated from human contact, 88% of urban populations had access while only 63% of rural populations had the same. Fifty one percent of rural citizens still use solid fuels, such as wood, dung, or charcoal, for cooking and heating their homes compared to just 8% of urbanites. The indoor air pollution from these fuels put users at increased risk of many respiratory diseases and other health complications (PAHO, 2016). Furthermore, rural cultures often value self sufficiency and independence, leading to less utilization of available health care services (Strasser, 2003). Lower levels of education compound this issue as people may have a poor understanding of what resources are available as well as how and when to use them. These factors combine to put rural residents at higher risk for many health complications and lower the overall health status of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Flint Cragley read his legendary phrase. This week we will be exploring the Flora caves just south of The Downtown of Crag. Where the dangerous Flora King lives. Were are going behind the scenes of the recent Crag Nappings. Flint walked in with his cameraman Hornfels and his Microphone guy, Monzo Are you sure you want to go in there, Brah? Hornfels asked. Yeah, Hornfels right, Brah. Monzo says. It looks kind of like the Flora King, Brah. Hornfels spoke with confidence. But with my power and strength I will get through without pain! Flint exclaimed. • 5. How Technology Has Changed Today s Generation Technology has developed rapidly in today s generation. Physical engagement lessens as technology progresses. The internet has become one powerful resource in today s generation. Although, the internet is a helpful resource we must also take into consideration that not everything that is posted on the internet is true. Many websites may post, and may state some important information that may be intriguing which can be mistaken to be reliable. However, we must acknowledge if the website is a reliable source by viewing its content. Recently in a community college in Oregon a shooting took into place, and this is not the first time a mass shooting that has occurred. After the mass shooting the President instantly responds to come out to speak to the American people. As I further wanted to investigate on Obamas gun control speech I research the topic, and approach a site The ONION America s Finest News Source they give a recap on Obamas speech, and they had no cites to their sources, no author is given, they have no proof of evidence. I immediately evaluated this site to be unreliable. When researching on the internet ask yourself if the website is stating true facts if so do they cite their sources. Secondly, does the website introduce who they are? Do they have the credibility to write about the certain topic? Lastly, take into consideration if they post logical evidence. The internet is a world outside of reality, and many websites may persuade you to believe their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Sagrada Familia Research Paper Robin GabagePatricia SchmidtIntroduction of Visual ArtsOctober 8th 2016 Module 7 I feel as if the Falling Water House had a greater impact on todays society. But only for Western Pennsylvania, growing up in eastern Pennsylvania I never once heard of The Falling Water House or Frank Lloyd Wright. Not until i came to Pittsburgh and now i have heard about it dozens of times in the past year, multiple times even this week. Most dramatic I would say is the Sagrada Familia, it has that gothic beautiful architecture that just gives a sense of uniqueness and wonder. It is dramatic not only because of its beauty but also because the long time it took to be worked on. I think most mysterious is hard to choose because neither really scream mysterious ... If i had the opportunity to bring someone to see one i would definitely choose the Sagrada Familia because it is so unique and gorgeous, and because it is in Barcelona Spain and i would give anything to go back to Spain especially Barcelona where everything is just beautiful and detailed. But realistically i would love to take my boyfriend to the Falling Water House, and i have been looking into it recently. You see pictures on instagram or Facebook of couples going there and taking cute selfies but i see the beautiful nature behind them, and the architecture sitting above a waterfall. I would love to be able to go experience it for myself instead of just seeing pictures of it. The Sagrada Familia definitely caught my attention right off the bat in the video. It has been in construction for over 133 years and counting. It is so intricate and advanced that it is taking centuries to build and that is just something that shouldn t be overlooked. • 9. Descriptive Essay On Cafe The Lokal In my ceaseless visits to new cafes that seem to be sprouting every other day in this tiny island, it is only natural that I won t like some. But it is also natural to have a favourite one that shines. That s The Lokal. This newly opened Aussie inspired café along Neil Road is not your normal stop by dining spot. I was welcomed by the casual retro interior and comforting natural light shining in from the French windows, one step into it and I had my heart on sleeve already. The open concept kitchen where one could see the chefs in action gave off the feeling of authenticity, a good break away from the countless typical and pretentious cafes that have sprouted in recent years. My first impression of the place heralded high expectations and true enough, The Lokal was more than extraordinary. Roast Beef Ciabatta $9 I ordered the Roast Beef Ciabatta and it arrived within 10 minutes, the warmth of the bread instantly spreading through my fingers at first touch, which was impressive. She had him when she was still a teeneager and so Ted was raised believing that she was his sister. His birth father is somewhat confusing on his birth certificate it has Lloyd Marshall but investigators believe that his real father s name was Jack Worthington. Throught elementary school he was described as shy but very smart. When he was a teenager he was described as a well liked and well known kid. Ted, on the other hand, would describe himself as not getting along with others and that he chose to be alone most of the time. He told an interviewer later in life that he liked to pass his free time by reading detective magazines, crime novels, and true crime documentaries. He enjoyed crime documentaries that displayed very graphic images. Later while he was incarcerated he claimed that he never read any crime novels of any sort. Ted enrolled in the University of Washington to study Chinese. He fell in love with a senior while he was a freshman, her name was Stephanie Brooks. The seeds of this new system of control, mass incarceration, were planted during the Civil Rights Movement itself. That was a time when it became clear that the old caste system was crumbling, and a new one would have to take its place. In October 1982, President Ronald Reagan announced his administration s War on Drugs. Cloaked in race neutral language, this so called War on Drugs offered whites opposed to racial reform a unique opportunity to express their hostility toward blacks and black progress, without being exposed to the charge of racism. The racist response that Vanessa Williams received and her family faced in 1983 was clearly overt. When crack cocaine hit the streets in 1985, the media made an effort to sensationalize the emergence of this new drug in inner city neighborhoods. This media sensationalism effectively made the construction of prisons the nation s main housing program for the urban poor. • 12. Description Of A Man s Voice We sat on a cheap wooden bench in the security room in the back of Lord and Taylor, our bags lay on their sides, the contents spilled across the concrete floor. Little white tags hung from the fabric, a few seams were noticeably ripped along the side ribbing of the clothing. Computer screens encompassed the room, the surveillance footage rotated intermittently from Camera 1 to Camera 2 to Dressing Room Camera. The man s voice was barely audible through the wall behind me, as he called my parents and the authorities. He came back into the room with the woman who had grabbed my arm as I exited the department store, announcing that the price for all of the products I had stolen totaled to approximately $1,300 though he hadn t calculated in the damages of the torn clothing where the security buttons were ripped out. My best friend, better known as my fellow thief, called her mom to retrieve us. I used the thick silence of that car ride to prepare something mitigating to say to my mother. When I delicately, respectfully, quietly entered the foyer, my mom sat waiting, drilling me with questions. As I entered the foyer, my mom, who had been undoubtedly stewing in her own thoughts as she awaited my arrival, drilled me with questions. Why would you do this? Because it s fun. Who made you do this? As if I can t make my own decisions and fuck up my life on my own. How long has this been going on? I told her once before but in reality it had been going on for a while. WHY? Reporting to students in the form of feedback is a critical element of the learning cycle. Incorporating a range of effective strategies for providing students with feedback can advance students understanding and development. Lacing instruction with correctional feedback will result in the production of new instruction (Hattie Timperley, 2007, p.82).
