1. Present Time (present) answers the question:
What happens? = What? or What is happening?
= What is happening ?. Formed: Subject +
verb in the present (I work). Subject + am /
are / is + verb in progressive (I am working).

PRESENT SIMPLE
 In English, the simple present, also known as the present simple, 1 is the
present tense of (not perfective aspect).
 It is one of several times used for this in English, the other being the present
continuous, which has progressive aspect, the present perfect and present
perfect continuous

 The tenses are different ways of combining the verbal aspect and tense in an

 2. No, I didn’t eat meat. (No, yo no comí carne).
 3. I liked the fruits. (Me gustaron las frutas).
 4. I listened to music. (Yo escuché música).
 5. She ran every morning. (Ella corría cada mañana).
 6. Did you hear that? (¿Escuchaste eso?).
 7. They did it. (Ellos lo hicieron).
 8. He was there. (Él estuvo ahí).
 9. We thought so. (Lo pensamos).
 10. I tried so hard. (Lo intenté muy duro).

Futuro simple
 The Simple Future tense is used to describe actions that will be developed in
the future without the need to clarify at what point will occur. Its equivalent
in the Spanish language is Future Imperfect
Examples
 They will dance all night long.
 (Bailarán toda la noche.)
 Next month he will be ten years old.
 (El mes que viene cumplirá diez años.)
 How old will he be next month?
 (¿Cuántos años cumplirá el mes que viene?)
 It will be very cold in the winter.

comes to which we refer. This verbal form is often accompanied by a
temporal expression,

verano)
 I will open the window (Abriré la ventana > ofrecimiento)
 She´s playing football tomorrow (Mañana jugará al fútbol)
 I will go to the concert if i can (si puedo iré al concierto)
 They are climbing the mountain next week (Escalarán la montaña la próxima
semana)
 You will travel to London if you pass your exam (Irás a Londres si apruebas el
examen)

Simple perfecto

global basis. It is characteristic of the Romance languages. In literary texts,
this past presents the specific events that advance the story.
