In this paper we used an analytical approach to model nonlinear diffusion of dopant in a multilayer structure with account nonstationary annealing of the dopant. The approach do without crosslinking solutions at
the interface between layers of the multilayer structure. In this paper we analyzed influence of pressure of
vapor of infusing dopant during doping of multilayer structure on values of optimal parameters of technological process to manufacture p-n-junctions. It has been shown, that doping of multilayer structures by

Periodic material-based vibration isolation for satellitesIJERA Editor
The vibration environment of a satellite is very severe during launch. Isolating the satellitevibrations during
launch will significantly enhance reliability and lifespan, and reduce the weight of satellite structure and
manufacturing cost. Guided by the recent advances in solid-state physics research, a new type of satellite
vibration isolator is proposed by usingperiodic material that is hence called periodic isolator. The periodic
isolator possesses a unique dynamic property, i.e., frequency band gaps. External vibrations with frequencies
falling in the frequency band gaps of the periodic isolator are to be isolated. Using the elastodynamics and the
Bloch-Floquet theorem, the frequency band gaps of periodic isolators are determined. A parametric study is
conducted to provide guidelines for the design of periodic isolators. Based on these analytical results, a finite
element model of a micro-satellite with a set of designed periodic isolators is built to show the feasibility of
vibration isolation. The periodic isolator is found to be a multi-directional isolator that provides vibration
isolation in the three directions.

Coherence enhancement diffusion using robust orientation estimationcsandit
In this paper, a new robust orientation estimation for Coherence Enhancement Diffusion (CED)
is proposed. In CED, proper scale selection is very important as the gradient vector at that
scale reflects the orientation of local ridge. For this purpose, a new scheme is proposed in
which pre calculated orientation, by using orientation diffusion, is used to find the correct true
local scale. From the experiments it is found that the proposed scheme is working much better
in noisy environment as compared to the traditional Coherence Enhancement Diffusion.

In this paper, we obtain the general solution of equations of motion of axisymmetric problem of micro-isotropic,
micro-elastic solid in static case. The equations of motion of axisymmetric problem are converted into vector
matrix differential equations using the Hankel transform. Applying the technique of solving the eigen value
problem, the general solution of the said problem is obtained. The results of the corresponding problem in linear
micropolar elasticity are obtained as a particular case of this paper.
Vibrational Assignments of FT-IR and FT-Raman Spectra of PyrogallolIJERA Editor
The molecular vibrations of pyrogallol was investigated by FT-IR and FT-Raman spectroscopies. Normal coordinate calculations of pyrogallol have been carried out Wilson’s FG matrix mechanism on the basis of General Valence Force Field (GVFF) for both in-plane and out-of-plane vibrations. The potential energy constants obtained in this study are refined using numerical methods.
COMPARATIVE STUDY ON BENDING LOSS BETWEEN DIFFERENT S-SHAPED WAVEGUIDE BENDS ...cscpconf
Bending loss in the waveguide as well as the leakage losses and absorption losses along with a comparative study among different types of S-shaped bend structures has been computed with
the help of a simple matrix method. This method needs simple 2×2 matrix multiplication. The
effective-index profile of the bended waveguide is then transformed to an equivalent straight
waveguide with the help of a suitable mapping technique and is partitioned into large number of thin sections of different refractive indices. The transfer matrix of the two adjacent layers will be a 2×2 matrix relating the field components in adjacent layers. The total transfer matrix is
obtained through multiplication of all these transfer matrices. The excitation efficiency of the
wave in the guiding layer shows a Lorentzian profile. The power attenuation coefficient of the
bent waveguide is the full-width-half-maximum (FWHM) of this peak .Now the transition losses and pure bending losses can be computed from these FWHM datas. The computation technique
is quite fast and it is applicable for any waveguide having different parameters and wavelength of light for both polarizations(TE and TM)
Numerical Investigation of Multilayer Fractal FSSIJMER

air gap height. The results obtained using the numerical method were compared with other technique and
using the commercial software Ansoft DesignerTM. A good agreement was observed in terms of the
bandwidth.
Exact Analytical Expression for Outgoing Intensity from the Top of the Atmosp...IOSR Journals
This research is a part of the work devoted on the application of analytical Discrete Ordinate (ADO) method to the polarized monochromatic radiative transfer equation undergoing anisotropic scattering with source function matrix in a finite coupled Atmosphere –Ocean media having flat interface boundary conditions involving specular reflection and transmission matrix. Discontinuities in the derivatives of the Stokes vector with respect to the cosine of the polar angle at smooth interface between the two media with different refractive indices (air and water) is tackled by using a suitable quadrature scheme devised earlier. Atmosphere and ocean are assumed to be homogeneous. No stratification is adopted in the two media. Exact expression for the
emergent radiation intensity vector from the top of the atmosphere is derived. Exact expressions for the emergent polarized radiation intensity vector from the air-water interface as well as from any point of the two medium in any direction can also be derived in terms of eigenvectors and eigenvalues.
RCS of Chiral Elliptic Cylinder Embedded in Infinite Chiral Medium IJECEIAES
This paper presents an analytic solution to the scattering properties of chiral elliptic cylinder embedded in infinite chiral medium due to incident plane wave. The external electromagnetic fields as well as the internal electromagnetic fields are written in terms Mathieu functions and expansion coefficients. In order to obtain both the internal and external unknown field expansion coefficients, the boundary conditions are applied rigorously at the surface of different chiral/chiral material. Results are plotted graphically for the normalized scattering widths for elliptic cylinders of different sizes and chiral materials to show the effects of these parameters on scattering cross widths. It is shown numerically by adding the external chiral material to elliptic cylinder provides more parameters to control the RCS.

The various ray contributions includes the diffraction from corner of obstacle, reflection from ground and direct wave. According to the height of transmitting station, different ray paths will be presented in the received signal. Calculation is carried out using hard and soft polarization. Results can be used for the planning of new cellular system.
Exact Solutions of Coupled Parallel Resonant Circuits Equations by Decomposit...AI Publications
In this paper, we provide the solution of a modeled parallel resonant circuit using the decomposition method. The parallel resonant circuit also known as resistor (R) in ohms, inductor (L) in Henry and capacitor (C) in farads (RLC) circuit is used in turning radio or audio receivers. The mathematical models are in a system of ordinary differential equations (ODE), which we solve using the Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM). We discovered that this method gave exact solutions as can be obtained using any traditionally known analytic method. These findings are illustrated in three test problems.
Investigation of Perforated Tube Configuration Effect on the Performance of E...Barhm Mohamad
Using perforated tube in exhaust mufflers is known to improve transmission loss (TL) by improving their sound pressure level (SPL) at the orifice. The perforated tube should affect the muffler performance analogous to a shell-and-tube heat exchanger. To the authors’ knowledge, there are few previous assessments reported in literature of the effects that the perforated tube configuration has on acoustic response and pressure drop predicted. The effects of (i) the perforated tube length, (ii) the diameter of tube holes, and (iii) flow through perforated tube were investigated. To assess the perforated tube effect on flow, the SOLIDWORKS 2017 based on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tool was utilized using real walls approach model with a surface roughness of 0.5 micrometres (AISI 316 cold rolled stainless steel sheet (ss) Ra = 0:5 μm). Perforated tube was found to cause back pressure which may increase SPL about 10%.
Near Optimal Receive Antenna Selection Scheme for MIMO System under Spatially...IJECEIAES
Spatial correlation is a critical impairment for practical Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) wireless communication systems. To overcome from this issue, one of the solutions is receive antenna selection. Receive antenna selection is a low-cost, low-complexity and no requirement of feedback bit alternative option to capture many of the advantages of MIMO systems. In this paper, symbol error rate (SER) versus signal to noise ratio (SNR) performance comparasion of proposed receive antenna selection scheme for full rate non-orthogonal Space Time Block Code (STBC) is obtained using simulations in MIMO systems under spatially correlated channel at transmit and receive antenna compare with several existing receive antenna selection schemes. The performance of proposed receive antenna selection scheme is same as conventional scheme and beat all other existing schemes.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
