This paper presents a comparative analysis of various steganography techniques, focusing on improved least significant bit (LSB), pattern-based, and raster scan methods for secure data communication. The findings reveal that despite its lower capacity, the pattern-based technique is superior in terms of security and robustness due to its unique data embedding approach involving 'z' and 'alpha' patterns. The study utilized MATLAB simulations to evaluate the techniques on 20 images, concluding that the pattern-based method offers the best security performance.
