1. CAUSES OF LEARNING DISABILITIES
As with many other disabilities ,there is no one simple explanation that can be given for why a
child or adult has a learning disabilities .
VISUAL INTELLIGENCE
Children with visual disabilities often are delayed in their physical and motor skills .
HEARING DISABILITIES
Children with hearing disabilities need oppurtunities to learn how to listen and speak
MENTAL DISABILITIES
Children with mental disabilities generally will go through typical development stages but at a
much slower rate.
BEHAVIOURAL DISABILITIES
Children with behaivoral disabilities often display one of three types of extereme behaivor
PHYSICAL DISABILITIES
Children with physical limitation have specific needs depending on their particular disability.
ATTENTION DISORDERS
Attention –deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) is a syndrome that interferes with an
individual ‘s ability to focus regulate activity level ,and inhabit behaivor.
INDICATORS ARE
Inattention :Fails to attend details ; difficulty sustaining attention ; does not seem to listen
;fails to finish; has difficulty organizing task; avoids sustained effort ; losses things ;is
distracted by extraneous stimuli;
Hyperactivity: Task incessantly ;leaves seat in classroom ; my dash around or climb ;
difficulty of playing quietly ; fidgets with hands or feet; motor access .
Impulsivity : Blurts out answer ;difficulty waiting for turn; interrupts or intruders

2. SOME GENERAL IDEAS TO HELP CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL LEARNING NEEDS
Children with learning needs can learn when teachers find the appropriate ways to teach these
student .It is important to remember that students with special learning needs can learn when
teacher spend time and use their expertise to find the appropriate ways to teach these students .

 4. Look for abilities
 5. Design a learning profile for each students with learning problems.
 6. Use technology
 7 .Modify the learning environment

 12 Use group instruction
 13 Adjust time demands
 14 Deal with inappropriate behavoir
 15 Modify homework assigment
 16 Communicate with parets
