Production Process Evaluation
Research
• A strength of my research was the variety of magazines I read through
which gave me a lot of inspiration.
• I should have looked at how magazines balance design and infomation
more.
Planning
• A strength of my planning was I focused on layout before information and
details
• A weakness was the details should have thought out more.
Time Management
• I should have spent more time on making the magazine more pleasing to
look at. I believe additional time to experiment would’ve improved the
final product
• I believe I may have lost focus more often if I had more time. My problem
is time management.
Technical Qualities
Similarities:
• One side is artwork.
• The other side is mostly text.
• There is a one major background.
Aesthetic Qualities
The main
character is
centre.
I think a
different
font and
colour
should’ve
been used.
I think a
font that
looks like
the one in
in game
should’ve
been
A more
interesting
image
should’ve been
used
Audience Appeal
I have used the aesthetic of Fallout and this will
appeal to the audience as the intended audience
are fans of fallout. The magazine is a collector's
item which makes it more valuable to a older
audience (25-38).
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
• For the front cover:
• I do like how the main character fits well in the middle of the page and the good use of text colour really fits really well with
the scenes.
•
• For the Double Spread
• i do really like the image on the left side of the page, fits very well with the colours in the background and the rest of the
text, speaking of text, i do really like how you used a fallout font for main heading on the right page
•
What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– one thing i would say that needed improving is possibly making the text box look a bit more
better and maybe instead of black boxes you give it more life and make it show a. bit more
– not really much i would hange but again with the black boxes for most of the text, its not bad
and it fits really well but maybe seeing different would of been nice
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the colour on the front cover of the magazine,
plus I really like the font for the header of your
product. What you could improve on is add a bit more
colour for the background of your product For the
double page spread I really like the colours green and
red I think they really stand out
• What improvements could have been made to
the product? what you could improve on is by
adding a darker green to the text of your product.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
The front cover and the text that comes with it fits perfectly together as it gives of this cyber
theme which fits the theme of fallout.and the double spread image on the right side of the
spread and its theme that is also spread across both pages both works very well as well
• What improvements could have been made to
the product? My the only change you should consider next time is maybe giving
the smaller text a better outline so that it is easier to read but its still super good
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback? I agree the text boxes look good but
needed some improvement.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback? The green should be the same as
the it is the same green.
Peer Feedback Summary
My peers thought the
image choices were good
but the colours choices
could've been better.

7. Evaluation(3).pptx

  • 3. Research • A strength of my research was the variety of magazines I read through which gave me a lot of inspiration. • I should have looked at how magazines balance design and infomation more.
  • 4. Planning • A strength of my planning was I focused on layout before information and details • A weakness was the details should have thought out more.
  • 5. Time Management • I should have spent more time on making the magazine more pleasing to look at. I believe additional time to experiment would’ve improved the final product • I believe I may have lost focus more often if I had more time. My problem is time management.
  • 6. Technical Qualities Similarities: • One side is artwork. • The other side is mostly text. • There is a one major background.
  • 7. Aesthetic Qualities The main character is centre. I think a different font and colour should’ve been used. I think a font that looks like the one in in game should’ve been A more interesting image should’ve been used
  • 8. Audience Appeal I have used the aesthetic of Fallout and this will appeal to the audience as the intended audience are fans of fallout. The magazine is a collector's item which makes it more valuable to a older audience (25-38).
  • 10. Feedback 1 • What did you like about the product? • For the front cover: • I do like how the main character fits well in the middle of the page and the good use of text colour really fits really well with the scenes. • • For the Double Spread • i do really like the image on the left side of the page, fits very well with the colours in the background and the rest of the text, speaking of text, i do really like how you used a fallout font for main heading on the right page • What improvements could have been made to the product? – one thing i would say that needed improving is possibly making the text box look a bit more better and maybe instead of black boxes you give it more life and make it show a. bit more – not really much i would hange but again with the black boxes for most of the text, its not bad and it fits really well but maybe seeing different would of been nice
  • 11. Feedback 2 • What did you like about the product? – I like the colour on the front cover of the magazine, plus I really like the font for the header of your product. What you could improve on is add a bit more colour for the background of your product For the double page spread I really like the colours green and red I think they really stand out • What improvements could have been made to the product? what you could improve on is by adding a darker green to the text of your product.
  • 12. Feedback 3 • What did you like about the product? The front cover and the text that comes with it fits perfectly together as it gives of this cyber theme which fits the theme of fallout.and the double spread image on the right side of the spread and its theme that is also spread across both pages both works very well as well • What improvements could have been made to the product? My the only change you should consider next time is maybe giving the smaller text a better outline so that it is easier to read but its still super good
  • 13. Peer Feedback Summary • What do you agree with from your peer feedback? I agree the text boxes look good but needed some improvement. • What do you disagree with from your peer feedback? The green should be the same as the it is the same green.
  • 14. Peer Feedback Summary My peers thought the image choices were good but the colours choices could've been better.
