Production Reflection
Matthew
Process
I used the pencil and eyedropper tool to help
design my background for my game. I used the
eyedropper tool on colours already on the
background if I needed to use them again. I
used the pencil tool make the background into
pixel form. My thoughts were that the
background was coming along, and that edges
were smooth, instead of ruff.
Process
I used the pencil tool again, this was so I
can draw my characters in pixel form. My
thoughts was that my characters came
out better than expected, by the arms not
being massively longer than the body.
Also the shade of the colours turn out
really well to show the sheriff and the
bandit.
Process
I used the erase to get rid of the arm that was
already holding the gun, then use the pencil
tool to draw the arm back with the gun in the
same place. My thoughts were that how
motion of the arm was going to go, and if it
would smooth, instead of being ruff, and not
looking right.
Process
I used the paint bucket tool to fill the background
black, then I used the text tool to give a writing in it so
its not just a black screen, I also used the Algerian
font, to give a western theme of writing. Also I made it
so it was like a start menu on a old arcade game, then
the loading screen, was like an old game with the dots
coming across the screen. My thoughts were that I
need to include a start and loading screen to make the
game seen more like a game.
Process
I used the paint bucket tool to make the
background black to make seem that it has change
from morning to evening. This is so the game has a
day and night cycle, to make the game in more than
one place. My thoughts about the work is that
making it have more than one background makes
the game better, and not boring, when they play on
the same background all the time. My feeling about
the work is that the sun in the back could have been
turn into the moon.
