7. production reflection
- 2. Process Today I have been making concepts for my characters in Photoshop using pixel art. I have been using the pencil tool to make these and have used different shades of colours to make the characters more detailed. I feel like the characters are coming along nicely. I have also made some walk animations for the mage character.
- 3. Process I have made a new Photoshop document which contains some art for the weapons of the game. I have made these weapons by using pixel art. I used the pencil tool and set it to one pixel and then started making these weapons. I a couple of sword variants, a bow and more. I used different shades of colours to add more detail to these weapons. I still have more to do though.
- 4. Process Today I made a couple more weapons and re-designed a couple of them too. I then moved on to making my first background for the game. I am still working on it as it is not yet finished. It is a forest that the player will start in after being teleported through a portal at the beginning of the game. I am currently designing a house to be included in this background so that the player can interact and enter it. I am also trying to stay to a colour scheme or two while making this background.
- 5. Process Today I have finished making my house that I was making yesterday for my background. I have added quite a bit of detail to the house so that it feels like it is supposed to be there in the world and so that it intrigues the player on why it is there and should drive them to go towards it. I havenโt made any new weapons or characters today as I have been focused no the making of my background document.
- 6. Process Today I have been working on the animation for my game and I have also been creating the interior for the house and the NPC that will be inside it. In the house there will be weapons for the player to choose from and the NPC will interact with the player telling the player different things. I have also been working on the next part of the game after the player leaves the house. There will be a battle scene between the player. And enemies.
