Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).
Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Working Title:
Spot Light
Audience:
My audience will be aged 16 upwards and will be mostly male. I would say my audience would be
from a middle-class background as they would have to have a good amount of access to the
media and the film industry.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
I feel as though some of the other projects I have done throughout the course so far will help me
with this project such as the video game project and the info graphic that I made at the very start of
course. I feel as though these other projects gave me a good understanding of Photoshop and
other projects that might be similar. I think the infographic and the shapes we had to use to show
things for our very first project will help me the most as it is the thing most similar to what I am
trying to make in this project.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
For my magazine, I am going to be doing it on films so I will be taking inspiration from magazines
such as Empire and Total Film which are very similar to what I am wanting to make. To make this
magazine I will have to do research on recently released films and upcoming award shows such as
the Oscars as I will talk about nominations for the 2019 Oscars and I will be doing a review on a
film for my double page spread. I will have to read some film reviews from critics and from normal
viewers to see how to write a review and what sort of thing I should talk about and how to lay out
the format of the article. My magazine will have lists of films that have just been released, reviews
and adverts for film related things so I will have to look at films in cinemas for the list and for
adverts in my magazine if I decide to include any in my work.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
To evaluate my magazine, I will do daily reflections of my work and at the end once I have my final
product I will get some peer evaluation. After I have been given peer feedback I will evaluate all of
my work from my planning to the final product.
