Audience:
My main audience of the magazine is aimed towards the male gender because of the music
popularity. The large popularity is purchased by males but with less females. My main age range I
am aiming for is the age of 16-25, this is because it will be a different magazine and will be
produced with bands relating to local bands that are popular in the area. The social status of my
audience that I will be aiming for will be middle class because of the costing of the magazine. The
psychographic of the audience I will be a mix of balanced.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
I have required many skills this year, I have received ore skills using Photoshop and the use of
premier pro. This is good for my work because it has made it easier to produce my experiment and
also will be easier to produce my final product and design for the project. I have also developed
with my Photoshop skills using the cutting tool and the editing software for my final product. My
advergame was a game that is where the longer you travel on the road the more colours will
develop into the game and will make it more colourful and harder levels to overcome. I will use the
skills that I have gained from my previous projects by developing the ideas I have and making
them better in my final designs. This will directly hit my work because it gives me the chance to
change my final product for the better and gives me a better overall design and final product. From
my project experiment I have gained better knowledge in the skills of overlaying images for a
magazine and how the best fonts and colour schemes can be used to develop my work.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
The concept of my project is that I have an idea about my magazine cover and how the magazine
will look and what will include inside. I want to make a good magazine cover and double page
spread, I will do this by making different images to edit, I will do this by taking new images and
editing them different to any I have produced. I will do this by taking new images in different
locations from around the world and editing them. The research I will need to conduct is to find the
best layout of magazines and what makes them more professional and more realistic. I will do this
by using the website issuu. This website is perfect for looking and magazines and the same genre
I am aiming for. This will help me find out how to layout my product because it gives me the
information and how it should be presented. I feel that this will work well for my final product
because it gives me a better idea on how I can make my product better and how my product
experiment will affect my final design.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
I plan to evaluate my work like it isn’t my own so I can’t take that into consideration. What I want
from my magazine cover will be that it is neat and very professional for what I can possibly make. I
will also get other people to tell me what they like and dislike about the product I have made. This
feedback I gain from this evaluation will help me in future for when I produce my next product, this
is because it gives me what skills I need to work on.
