Working Title:
FMP final projects
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose:
One of the products it to entertain because it’s a magazine which will be the main one out of the
three one is a poster and the other is a hoodie/shirt. I will achieve this because I will make it a
gaming magazine and the audience likes game so they will enjoy reading the magazine. And the
hoodie and poster will advertise the magazine
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
The form of escapism for this would be that for games and the games for the magazine are not
realistic so you can escape from realism. The genre is for games and the games that are in the
magazine are all kinds of games so not just one sort of game e.g. sci-fi.
Genre:
The products are a magazine, poster and a hoodie. The way I’m going to display the merchandise
products is online through a website called red bubble and the magazine and poster will be
digitally made through Photoshop saved as a png and then displayed on my blogger.
What sort of product is it
Content
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
My product is about a gaming magazine, gaming poster and a piece of clothing the magazine will
have the most content on it due to it been a magazine. The magazine will have multiple covers
front back and the content in the middle every page will have a different image to make it feel
different and not repetitive. With the poster I’m going to put the upcoming games on it so then
people will know what games are coming out and then will be for Xbox one as well.
The image styles for this product are colourful and always are similar to the games so it will fit
together and with the fonts they go well with the magazine because they fit with the colours as well
it makes it better because they all fit together well. And the colour schemes for the magazines they
all fit together and they go with the game as well
Research & Planning
With the research I already knew what I wanted to do I just had to do three other thing and then I
decided to do a poster and a piece of clothing which will most likely be a hoodie with my own
design on it. The research what I did is about gaming magazines film and game posters and a t-
shirt because I was wanting to do a piece of clothing as well and it was the only other option what I
wanted to do the most.
Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea
(be specific to certain parts)
The stages for the planning would be that I would do a mind map for what I want to do. Then I
would make one more mind map. After that I would develop the main idea that I want so then I will
be able to get the final idea that I want.
And for the research I would have started out by getting the main idea that I have chosen and then
I would further develop the research.

Audience:
The audience is aimed at 16-19 year olds both male and female the social status will be middle
class because middle class is the class what is more popular for games so it would be the best
one. The psychographic will be balanced because the balanced psychographic is the one that
wants to succeed the most and I want my products to be successful
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
The projects that I am doing won’t be offensive because I’m doing it about games and if a do a t-
shirt I will not have anything offensive on it the same with the poster and magazine they will not
have any offensive material on it or and offensive language. I will restrict the younger audience
from reading the magazine because the age range is set to 16-19 year olds so anyone younger
will not be suitable for them to read. It will not offend any social groups, religions or ethnicities this
is because I will not have any offensive material in it what might offend the groups. The poster,
clothing and the magazine will not offend anyone because the same with the social groups,
religions or ethnicities it will not have anything offensive in it so it will be ok for people to read that
might get offended easy. I’m not using any existing material so there will be no copy right issues
for the badge for the clothing or the poster and magazine.
The ASA codes that apply for my work are No.1. Compliance because the magazine what I have
made doesn’t lie and tells the truth and the magazines don’t have any images that offend anyone.
3. Misleading Advert the magazine is not miss leading I haven’t lied about the price of it and
haven’t lied about anything. 4. Harm and Offence nothing in the magazine, clothing and the poster
is offensive and if it was I have changed it so its not offensive to anyone
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?

With the poster I’m going to put the upcoming games on it so then people will know what games are coming out and then will be for Xbox one as well. The image styles for this product are colourful and always are similar to the games so it will fit together and with the fonts they go well with the magazine because they fit with the colours as well it makes it better because they all fit together well. And the colour schemes for the magazines they all fit together and they go with the game as well Research & Planning With the research I already knew what I wanted to do I just had to do three other thing and then I decided to do a poster and a piece of clothing which will most likely be a hoodie with my own design on it. The research what I did is about gaming magazines film and game posters and a t- shirt because I was wanting to do a piece of clothing as well and it was the only other option what I wanted to do the most. Where will you use elements of your research and planning to influence and inform your final idea (be specific to certain parts) The stages for the planning would be that I would do a mind map for what I want to do. Then I would make one more mind map. After that I would develop the main idea that I want so then I will be able to get the final idea that I want. And for the research I would have started out by getting the main idea that I have chosen and then I would further develop the research.
  • 2. Proposal 2 Audience: The audience is aimed at 16-19 year olds both male and female the social status will be middle class because middle class is the class what is more popular for games so it would be the best one. The psychographic will be balanced because the balanced psychographic is the one that wants to succeed the most and I want my products to be successful Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc Why would your project appeal to this person? Legal & Ethical Considerations: The projects that I am doing won’t be offensive because I’m doing it about games and if a do a t- shirt I will not have anything offensive on it the same with the poster and magazine they will not have any offensive material on it or and offensive language. I will restrict the younger audience from reading the magazine because the age range is set to 16-19 year olds so anyone younger will not be suitable for them to read. It will not offend any social groups, religions or ethnicities this is because I will not have any offensive material in it what might offend the groups. The poster, clothing and the magazine will not offend anyone because the same with the social groups, religions or ethnicities it will not have anything offensive in it so it will be ok for people to read that might get offended easy. I’m not using any existing material so there will be no copy right issues for the badge for the clothing or the poster and magazine. The ASA codes that apply for my work are No.1. Compliance because the magazine what I have made doesn’t lie and tells the truth and the magazines don’t have any images that offend anyone. 3. Misleading Advert the magazine is not miss leading I haven’t lied about the price of it and haven’t lied about anything. 4. Harm and Offence nothing in the magazine, clothing and the poster is offensive and if it was I have changed it so its not offensive to anyone Think about any offensive material you will include? Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright infringement?
