This proposal is for a music magazine aimed at entertaining readers aged 16+ of both genders. The magazine will feature the latest news, gossip and interviews about artists to make readers want to pick it up. It will appeal most to achievers and emulators in social classes B through D. Care will be taken to avoid offensive content that could upset social groups or religions. Original images, names and content will be used to avoid copyright issues.

Product’s Purpose: Entertainment, I will achieve this by making it entertaining for my
audience to pick it up and read it. I will add all the latest news and gossip of artist music.

What sort of product is it
Content: My product is about music, the only stories I’ll have will be about the artists. I will
also put in gossip about the artist and interviews talking about their new songs or ne w
albums and what’s new in their life. There will be different questions on it about artist to
make the audience want to pick it up and think it’s interesting and then buy it.

Audience: I project will appeal to 16+ of both genders because it will stand out and make
them want to buy it. The psychographic of this magazine will be achiever/emulator, because
they are the ones who want to be more successful and wealthy, also, the social status is B
to D because it will not appeal to group A as they’ll read something more interesting and in
their taste and value. Then group E who are probably to buy one but read it in the shop.
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: There is no offensive material or restriction to younger
audience reading it. It will not offend any social group, religions or ethnicities as I won’t be
using that kind of material. I ensure this will not offend anyone by asking others if it offends
them. I will be using my own image of someone so then I am not copyrighting any images
from the Internet. Also, I’m not using any logos or existing products because I will also
come up with a name for the magazine myself. My product will be different from othe r
products as I will be using my own stuff and information.
