15. Digital Inclusion + Other Learning Experience (OLE) –
“NICE” Computer Bank + “SLAM” Program
CSL is a sponsor of YMCA in launching Network Inclusion for Children Empowerment (NICE) to low
income families in Sham Shui Po, Tung Chung, Tseung Kwan O and Tin Shui Wai districts. Students
from underprivileged families are being given a netbook with mobile broadband access, IT
knowledge trainings as well as mentorship for their school and daily life. ‘NICE’ program has won
the Grand Award of Hong Kong ICT Awards 2010 under the category of Digital Inclusion.
