DAVE HAS TIME OFF COMING – Now that we have Pastor Greg, our „new‟ Associate Pastor, in our midst,
Dave can take some real relaxing time off! During the entire month of July, please contact the office for your
„normal‟ needs. If you have a medical emergency / after-hours need, please contact Pastor Greg at 544-3614.
VISITORS WELCOME – We welcome all visitors and friends for our regular worship services on Thursday (12:15
pm and 7 pm, Traditional) and Sunday (7:45 am and 10:45 am Traditional; 9:15 am Praise). Please let us know you
were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the pew rack) with today‟s date, name, address, phone #, etc.
BUSY CHILDREN? – Children‟s Worship bulletins are available in the Narthex (ages 3-6 and 7-12). The cry room
is just off the Narthex behind the sound board; please ask an usher if you need assistance. Please ask your children
to not use the Rite of Fellowship pads and Communion cards for scribbling or drawing. Take a few extra Children‟s
Worship Bulletins if needed by your child during service or maybe for your upcoming vacation drive.
PORTALS OF PRAYER - The new July-September issue of Portals of Prayer is now available in the Narthex.
Take a copy for yourself or a neighbor.
COLLECTING COKE POINTS – The announcements stopped for a short time, but the Youth are still collecting
Coke Rewards codes found under caps of bottles or on multi-pack cans of Coke products (Powerade and Dasani
water multi-packs, too; cut code from plastic overwrap). Please put codes in the Youth Mailbox.
WE’RE AT .500! – The OSLC softball team has a 3-3 record after the first 6 games (and winning 21-8 last Sunday).
There will be no game this week (we get the holiday weekend off) but we will go for a winning 4-3 record on July 12
against Trinity Lutheran. Next week’s game: 6:45 pm/top field. Everyone is invited; bring chairs and your
voices and enjoy fellowship with God’s people from OSLC. Playoffs begin on July 19.
SCRIP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – More volunteers are needed to sell scrip on Sunday mornings. Selling and
collecting money is all that's involved. Call Julie Richter at 339-9984 or email her at julier@new.rr.com.
SCRIP REMINDER – Kwik Trip is paying us 20% on all SCRIP sold from now until mid August. SCRIP cards
from Kwik Trip can be used at the pump or in the store and have no expiration date. And don‟t forget the other
SCRIP available for everyday essentials…gas, groceries, restaurants, discount/dept stores, etc. Take the lists home,
write down what you want, and hand your order over at the Welcome Center on Sunday.
2. DID YOU NOTICE? – In the calendar for the week above, the Preschool and Classroom #1 floors will be cleaned
and waxed on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The following week, the Youth Room and Gym floors will be
done. Please plan your time accordingly. The other classrooms and hallways have not yet been scheduled.
PODCAST ANYONE? – Do you use podcasts? Add OSLC‟s sermons to your list. The address for podcasting is
http://www.oslc-gb.org/feed/podcast/. In most cases, the sermons are available by Monday afternoon.
KEEP IN TOUCH – Do you have an email address? Do you get emails from the church? If you have an email
address but have not been receiving emails from the church office recently, we do not have your current email
address in our database. Please contact Michelle at 468-4065 or info@oslc-gb.org.

DONATE NON-PERISHABLES – Have you donated food items to church even though we haven‟t been asking?
If so, THANKS! If not, we want to increase our donations and are now again ASKING for you to consider
donating non-perishable food items for Manna for Life. The barrels are still in the office hallway.
Suffering from truth decay? Brush up on your Bible!
TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY – Are you wondering why the 9:00 am Bible Study is not on the calendar on page 1
of today‟s Announcement Sheet? Well, the ladies are taking a break and will not meet in the month of July.
COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES – The May Council Meeting Minutes are now available at the Welcome
Center. If you would like to receive them by email each month, please contact Michelle in the office.

closets, etc., right? But what do you do with the stuff you don‟t need any more? You bring it to church and donate
it for the October Super Sale. Donations are accepted when the office is open (8am-4:00 pm Monday thru Friday).
For large items, please contact us in early September to arrange pick up or plan to deliver here after September 21st.
