3D object
 Shows all the views of an
object
 Each view is related to
the others
 Elevations, plans and end
views are included in
orthographic drawings

Sections
 Show a cut view of a
piece or object
 Used when detail needs
to be shown clearly

clearly how the pieces
are joined

 Lines are drawn back at 45° from the elevation
