Product’s Purpose: To inform and aware them about this huge issue and educate them to
keep them safe and others around them.
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: documentary podcast.
What sort of product is it
Content My podcast is about knife crime and how to stop it happening and I interview
people who have been involved or affected by this and what we can do to make sure this
stops.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: my audience will be mid-teens and young adults who are male and are affected
by knife crime because lack of parenting and there is no father figure at home which affects
kids to go to older people who are involved in knife crime and drugs to feel part of a family
and get groomed in by this. My project is about knife crime which the people who are
listening may be affected by this which will help.

Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? no
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Yes as it is about knives and the minimum
age will be 15 as this may influence kids younger than 15.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? I will make sure there is no ethnicity slander or
homophobia.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Yes it will be sufficiently different as I am interviewing different people.
