Working Title: The Cultured and Unsophisticated Podcast
What is it called? This can change if you think of something better later
Product’s Purpose: To entertain and somewhat to inform (by talking about recent news)
What is the product’s purpose (entertain/educate etc.) and how will you achieve this?
Genre: Comedy
What sort of product is it
Content: Each episode of the podcast will have different topics to talk about. Including
stories about ourselves, films & TV & gaming, recent things in the news and a lot more.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If
so, discuss it here
Audience: I believe that the podcast will be most fitting for people of the same age as us;
they’d find it more entertaining and relatable than if it had adult presenters
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc.
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations: For legal purposes I will make sure if any non-original
music is used, to credit the maker at the end of the podcast. Other than that I can’t imagine
any other legal problems. Ethical on the other hand, there may be a problem with swearing
when recording, as it is our first time recording a podcast it may be difficult at first to
‘adjust’ our language, but this isn’t a major problem as it can be fixed and censored in post.
Another potential problem with making a podcast with people is the views and opinions of
theirs. Of course we respect and think about other peoples perspective on things, but
people on the internet might not… some of our audience may disagree and take arguing
back into their own hands.
For the thumbnail of the YouTube video, all imagery used will be original to avoid copyright
infringement.
Think about any offensive material you will include?
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
